I asked upfront if his worker was gonna be able to do this and was reassured that he could until I witnessed the piano slide down the stairs on the dolly and they had to hire someone off the street to help get it up 6 stairs. Well, unfortunately, it did not end there I found a significant ding on my piano and some questionable wood splits ( but it may be ok, need to get that checked to as I'm not sure if it was the impact of the piano sliding down. Long story short , I was strung along for at least 6 months and Jeff finally came back out , denied it was them that did it and said he would get someone to fix it for a "couple of hundred dollars" did not want to claim it on his insurance. He has strung me along for months and now has completely ghosted me. My mistake of not asking for some kind of contract/invoice that I would normally get during these types of transactions which would cover claims. I will look into small claims. They definitely needed at least 3 ppl for this move, he brought 1 & 1/2 ( very nice guy) and hired someone off the street . My bad, I operated in good faith and I am paying the price for it. He now wants to put the blame on someone else, my storage company of 20 years after it was him that assured me that it was wrapped tightly at time of pickup, not sure what steps he took to protect it after? Ya live and ya learn. I should not have taken a chance with something so important for me.

I called other piano movers who could provide services immediately some quoted higher, some less, but, I decided to call Mr. Marvin back, and I am so happy I did! He explained that I had just missed the pickup date for long distance moves, which meant, I had to wait two weeks for the next pickup. Initially, I thought about going with someone else, but the wait actually gave me time to better prepare so the move went exactly as planned. Mr. Marvin explained exactly when he would call me with the pickup and delivery times. He followed through just as he said he would! I needed a Hammond C3 Organ picked up from a church and delivered to my home in another city. On the day of pickup, there was a three hour window. Believe me when I tell you, within the first hour, the movers were already at the church! I met two of the nicest guys ever: Mr. RJ and Mr. Edwin. They were professional and friendly at the same time! They handled everything, from opening the heavy double church doors to making sure they got all the cords, the bench, the bass pedals, the Leslie speaker, and the Hammond Organ itself. Afterward, they closed the church doors and made sure I locked them. It took less than thirty minutes, and they were out! That was on Monday. Mr. Marvin called me the next day and asked if I would like to have my organ delivered the following morning. I said that would be fine, which gave me enough time to drive home and be there for the delivery. Again, they were very timely, no long waiting or wondering all day! I was so happy and pleased to see Mr. RJ and Mr. Marvin drive up; it felt like I had known them for a while! They got right to work, brought the organ and all the attachments inside, put everything in its place, and made sure the organ was ready to be played! The whole transaction went so smoothly. I am so grateful I went with Pro Piano Movers. Mr. Edwin & Mr. RJ even gave me hugs. Pro Piano Movers, I highly recommend five stars!
