I was helping my mom shop for a rectangular solid wood table with simple wooden chairs (no fabric seats), which was surprisingly hard to find in other furniture stores. Heather was quick to greet us and advise us on different options, but also gave us plenty of time and space to look around. Other stores were so pushy and focused on making a sale, but Heather felt like a friend who's goal was to share her knowledge about the different styles and materials to make sure you find your dream set. She helped us find a beautiful dining set that was the perfect color, material, style, and price! The delivery cost was one of the cheapest ($75) and they were the only store who had an option to take away your old table (for another $75 which is a steal considering other options would cost over $100 and would require coordinating with another company). Heather even asked us what type of flooring we had, so they could install the appropriate pads or feet on the table. We bought the table on Dec 20, and were about to get the table on Dec 27! Other stores wouldn't be able to deliver until January and it was the holidays. We were given a two-hour window for the delivery, and the delivery men arrived at the very beginning of the time window! Despite needing to take away our large expandable table with nine chairs through a narrow hallway before dropping off the new set, they were in and out in only about 30 mins. They also leveled the table and showed us how in case we moved the table and needed to level it again. Everyone we interacted with at California Dining and Bar Stools were phenomenal. I honestly couldn't have asked for better selection or customer service! We went to a lot of other furniture stores beforehand, and they were by far the best. Don't waste your time; go directly to California Dining and Bar Stools! You won't be disappointed.

What my friend and I experienced here on Sunday, May 25, 2025, was nothing short of outrageous, offensive, and quite frankly, traumatizing. We came into the store with the sincere intent of purchasing one of OSIM's high-end massage chairs. My friend works as a nurse laboring all day caring for patients , lifting heavy objects, and wanted a massage chair to help at end of the day once home. She even worked on the front lines during Covid pandemic helping patients putting herself in harms way. Truly a hero. She began trying out one of the chairs in the back corner of the store. That's when everything went downhill. A male employee (whose photo I've attached) approached my friend and asked if she liked the chair. She politely replied that she wasn't into that particular model -- which you'd think is a normal part of the shopping process. Instead of assisting her in trying a different one, the employee snapped, responding with an unbelievably rude: "Well, if you don't like it, why are you still sitting on it?" Naturally confused, we asked if he was joking. But instead of clarifying, he became hostile and aggressive, telling my friend to "get up and get out of the store immediately." He then escalated the situation even further by threatening to call mall security -- all because she didn't like a chair? Seriously. At no point were we rude, disruptive, or out of line. We actually wanted to explore the rest of the options and purchase something that day. Yet we were treated with alarming disrespect and made to feel unsafe in what should've been a simple shopping experience. The aggressive tone and threatening body language were so extreme that we had to leave the store. We captured the entire interaction on video and filed a report with Valley Fair mall security on the spot. Even mall security thought this guy completely out of line. Frankly, the only plausible explanation we can come up with for this behavior is racism and hate, as we are people of color. There was absolutely no other justification for the way we were treated. It was disgusting, distressing, and humiliating. I wouldn't take a free product from OSIM after this -- let alone spend a dime there. They lost not just a sale, but any chance of redeeming themselves as a business that values basic human decency. We're exploring legal options and strongly urge OSIM corporate to investigate this disgusting display of unprofessionalism and issue a formal response and apology. We emailed them but who knows if anything will be done? Final word: STAY AWAY FROM OSIM at Valley Fair. There are plenty of massage chair retailers who will treat you like a valued customer -- not a nuisance.

He was very nice and patient to the customers, and above all, knowledgeable of their products which was incredible as it made us feel very comfortable during our visit. We never felt rushed nor pressured to make a purchase right away. We actually took our time in buying the mattress and returned a few months later since there were a few things we had to consider before buying it. We definitely looked for Daniel right away since we had a (Daniel, if I may) PHUONG-tastic experience with him previously. We surely made time to see him regardless of the time and distance from us, and we made the right decision to purchase the perfect mattress for us. Service here was great. No hard sales, but someone came over and chit-chatted with me for a bit and offered her help. She even told me how to get on the seesaw without killing myself in the process.
