A co-worker of mine had been raving about how good these guys are so we decided to give them a try on our way back from a trip to Europe. I was not sure if they would have a minimum for one-way service so decided to call them first instead of booking online. The operator was very helpful and willing to offer one-way service with no minimum hours. This was a good first sign because our main goal was to not just use them for this trip but also for our upcoming wedding day. Our Chauffeur (Al) was on time, the limo was well kept and the rates reasonable. We mentioned to our Chauffeur at the end of our ride that we have a wedding coming up and were thinking of making a reservation. He told us that if we are happy with his service, than he can inform his dispatcher and someone will call us to help with our reservation. Fast forward to October, a week before our wedding. We received a courtesy call and a reminder regarding our reservation. We had made an 8 hour reservation which including multiple trips from my home to the make artist than to 2 photo shoots and than back to our house. Through out the entire day, our Chauffeur was very friendly. Our 8 hours reservation ended up being an 11 hours trip but at no point did he display any signs of being unhappy. On our way back from the Banquet, to our hotel room, we were hesitant to ask him to make another stop at my house at almost 1 o clock at night and he over heard our conversation and himself offered to make the stop. We could not have hoped for better service and since have recommend A1 Luxury to a handful of people.

I have tried numerous times to contact the owner Miguel to try and get some sort of refund, but he refuses to call me back. I am so disappointed in the lack of professionalism and just plain rudeness. So much for trying to help out a local company!

We got rained out at the end of our concert. Our bus was right at the gate and warmed inside to take the chill off of us. Best of all was the cost. Many in my group use car services for both business and pleasure and know the rates. The cost for our trip was by far the best rate in the Chicagoland area. When I saw OPV had launched a limo service I knew to expect stellar service from this as well. I did some price comparisons with other car services in the area and it was also one of the most reasonable. I emailed them my details, called with my credit card # (not comfortable sharing it over email) and all was good to go! As soon as our plane landed I had a text message from our driver, Zuko, who said he was ready for us as soon as we got our luggage. And he was right there outside in a massive Lincoln Navigator just the perfect size for our family of 5, 5 suitcases and skis. Yep, I tend to overpack. My kids are in car heaven between the iPads set up with games and movies, candy suckers and spacious room. They've even asked if we can buy that car next since we've begun the search for a new car ....if only the navigator fit in my garage! Overall, it was a great experience and I"ll be sticking with OPV in the future for all my car transportation needs.

We waited what felt like 10-mins for our luggage & our driver was able to wait without moving the entire time time. I used First Class at the beginning of this year and could not believe how awful my experience was…read more First of all, I scheduled my ride very much ahead of time. I even called the day of to confirm! Seeing as though the cab was just for me, someone decided it wasn't important to tell me that the cab was going to be almost TWO HOURS late. Keep in mind that I was scheduled to be dropped off at O'hare. My trip was to London and if I had been a couple minutes later, I would have missed it. In the midst of figuring out what the heck was going on/why I was still wasn't being picked up, I was placed on hold for over 30 minutes. I was eventually told to get a cab....when it was already a Friday night....then I was called back and told never mind and that someone would be there soon. When I was finally picked up, the driver had to drive like we were being chased by the cops. This was one of the most stressful experiences of my life. Granted, the owner did offer me 'a free ride'...but if I ever claim that, will I have to make sure to tell them 3 o' clock, so they at least show up at 5? Do not advise if you're traveling alone..or are younger. Your business isn't too important to them.
