Matt was very rude very unhelpful. I was told they ran into unexpected issues and those issues needed to be fixed so they fixed them no call no heads up I was quoted $500. I ended up paying $1680 went to pick up the truck the following morning the original person I dealt with was very nice and accommodating with trying to negotiate a better balance price since all these things were done without my approval however the manager or owner, then came through the door and made the statement do not argue with him take the truck to our compound lock it up and he can argue it out in court. This is not a way to treat paying customers when a customer is given a quote and some thing more needs to be done a phone call needs to be made for the customers approval. I do not recommend this place at all.

Conveniently located within walking distance of our house; even better! We're still pretty new to the Iowa City area after moving here from Cedar Rapids a couple of months ago. We were unable to get into our former mechanic back in CR because of a 3-week wait. This prompted us to tell ourselves that it was just time to find someone in Iowa City. Who wants to commute 40 minutes when you have a car issue? A tire on our Mazda CX-5 had a leak. My husband called Skay on a Tuesday and they were able to get us in for an appointment a couple of days later. We dropped off the car the night before said appointment and used one of their overnight deposit envelopes for our key. Envelopes were great because you could fill it out according to what you wanted to have the mechanics inspect. Vehicle was ready to be picked up before 10am the next morning. The mechanic(s) pulled a screw out of my tire, repaired the tire and completed an oil change. So happy my tire was saved! At our request they also checked the condition of our brakes. More than fair prices. We appreciated the breakdown of the services they performs and everything was printed on our invoice. The reviews are true!
