I was really grateful as the store and parking lot was so busy. He smiled at me, greeted me and asked me if I was finding everything okay. I found a large mirror I was interested in and I felt comfortable to come to him and ask questions. I had to adjust my car to make sure mirror would fit. He held the item at cash register for me as it was the last one, I came back and shopped a bit more and he happened to be my cashier. He also told me I could drive up and he put the mirror in my car for me. What a huge asset to Kirkland's team. I didn't see any other employee on the floor until I was rung up. The ladies were behind register just ignoring MANY customers in the store. Just an observation from a Store Manager.

The lack of a specialty showcase like most Goodwill locations have makes the store feel very plain. I have already come across empty media cases left on the racks, even for low to mid priced items, so keeping certain media and other easily stolen collectible merchandise in a glass cabinet could honestly prevent a lot of this. The checkout has been disorganized every time I have visited. There is no clear indication of where the line begins, and the staff members are often missing when it is time to pay. The store has plenty of potential, but the space could definitely be used much better.

They have a great selection. This one is located inside the Solano Mall. I ordered a Sanrio dog bed online and had to delivered to the store for pick up. (It was even cheaper than Amazon for the same product.) The employee working that day was really helpful! He helped open the package so I could confirm it was what I bought before taking it home. He was telling me how they always have sales. The online inventory is bigger than what's in store. When you buy something online you get a coupon for next time. I even joined their free rewards membership. When he asked if there was anything else he could help with I asked about some earrings we saw. Half was missing. He offered to sell it to us half price and when we were interested in half a pair he helped us find it online and buy it to have it shipped there. This is a great place to shop for presents for kids and adults alike!

They were both very kind, checked in with us & honored my birthday discount! I couldn't make it to any BoxLunch location during my birth month, so that meant a lot to me. This was also the most organized BoxLunch location I've been to, surprisingly! I even found some really cute Sanrio pajamas I had been eyeing since last year, they finally had my size! Overall a very wholesome experience. If I am ever in the area again, I will be sure to stop by. :)

My kids and I stopped into Hallmark last week looking for NeeDohs. While they were sold out, they…read morehad a few other kinds of squishies, so we picked out a couple and headed to the register. While we were checking out, Dawn was getting ready to put out a few more squishies. She took the time to show my son each one she was tagging before putting them on the shelf. She absolutely didn't have to do that--she could have just walked by--but that small act of kindness meant so much! The NeeDoh and squishy craze is real and I don't think employees get enough appreciation for dealing with the constant demand. Dawn's patience and kindness made my son's day. He was so excited to add a few new squishies to his collection! Thank you, Dawn, for taking those extra few minutes to make my son's day. And thank you from my daughter too, who somehow always ends up stealing her big brother's squishies no matter which one we buy just for her!

The selection of cards for Father's Day was pretty depleted but that makes sense the day before the holiday. I managed to find a couple and the cutest shawl. Usually the service is pretty good. However on this visit Lisa was my cashier and gave me attitude after I politely asked her not to grab my phone. I held up my phone (with the screen towards her) so she could scan the clearly visible bar code for the use of my birthday coupon. She grabbed my phone. After I said something she said, "well make the bar code larger!" with MUCH attitude. I told her to ask me too - not just take my phone. She was intent on arguing, and added she has taken others' phones, and no one had a problem. I was floored! I have been there too many times to count and never had anyone take my phone (instead of using their hand scanner). Nor have I ever received such attitude. She made what started out as a great experience shopping for others to one tainted by her attitude and unprofessionalism.

I couldn't think of any good reason why I wanted a room fragrance. There was no way I was going to put those scents on my skin or hair. It turned out, I was also allergic to some of the fragrances and I ended up leaving rather quickly. Back then, I thought the store could be eradicated, and it would be entirely beneficial for the human race. This time it seemed like it was a whole new store. They've updated their collection and have excluded Phthalates, sulfates, and parabens. This change seems to have done the trick for me. I no longer found the fragrances repulsive, and it didn't kick off any allergy attacks. With that massive collection of products, the fragrances were still overwhelming, even though they were pleasant. It was rather hard to actually determine which product smelled like what because it was scent chaos in there. They could've used a lot more ventilation. Although I have no plans to ever scent my rooms or add even more scented products, these fragrances were pleasant enough that I could see giving them as gifts. I would say I'm still not completely sold on the store but at least these days I don't think they should be burned down to the ground. Aside from my dismal opinion of the products, the store is quite nice. It's neatly organized, beautifully stocked, plenty spacious enough for a crowd of shoppers. The staff people were attentive and pleasant, greeting everyone who entered the store. If I had cared more about the products, I would definitely have enjoyed shopping here. So four stars for the store. Since the store does not control their products, I'll leave out my opinion of the actual stuff.
