I have been using Just Bumpers Plus for nearly five years now. Over that time they have probably saved me $2000-3000 in body repair costs to my bumpers and fenders compared to what I would have paid a body shop. Most recently I called Jim prepared to spend $700 on a replacement bumper as the tabs that held it in place had torn loose and I had learned the tabs could not be replaced. Jim said he thought there was a way to secure the edges of the bumper in place without using the tabs and as the bumper itself was in fine condition he would prefer to try that first before having me pay for a replacement. His repair worked great and only cost me $75. I love knowing I can trust him to put the solution that makes most sense above what will generate the most profit for his company. It's been an absolute pleasure to deal with Jim, even though the circumstances (a dented car) were less than ideal. On time, great pricing, great work. Only downside is everyone seems to know that and he is constantly booked. That means it might take a few extra days of waiting to get your appointment, but trust me it is worth it. Last time I had a body shop repair my bumper, they had to respray it 5 times over the course of 8 days before it matched well enough for me to take delivery. Now imagine my shock and awe when Jim shoes up at my house and in just a couple of hours fixes both my bumpers and it matches perfectly the first time. So, I'm pretty late with writing this review (about 6-7 months)--But, I wanted to make sure that the bumper work that Jim performed on my Toyota Prius would stand the test of time. Had a slight dent the size of a quarter on the back rear panel. After he was done, he showed me the job he did, which was fine, but all he did was painted it. You can still see the dent there. I contacted Jim last week to have a look at some bumper damage on our 2014 Subaru Forester. It was pretty darn easy, just take a photo and send it as an email attachment. He got back to me the following day with a quote that was 1/2 the price quoted by a body shop I had previously used. I scheduled the appointment and he arrived exactly on time. I've done a bit of auto body paint myself (though just as a hobbyist) and I have the say that if the job was excellent - a perfect match for the OEM color. We chatted for a bit, and he showed me how the match is achieved. First, he uses the vehicle VIN to find the paint code, then mixes the color with the equipment right in his truck. Pretty impressive. This place is run by honest hard working people. I called and got a quote for my front and rear bumpers that had large scratches on them. The quote was super reasonable so I scheduled a day for them to come out. The day before they confirmed my appointment and the day of, he text me to let me know he was ahead of schedule and could come earlier if I was available. When he got here and assessed the damage on my car, he let me know the front bumper should actually be replaced. There was a rip on the corner that was irreparable. He got me a quote on a new bumper with installation (to be done at a future date) and gave me a couple of options as to what I could do and what the costs would be. Didn't pressure me to repair the scratches or buy a new bumper, just let me know his professional opinion based on what my purpose for the car was. Not only did he do a PERFECT job, but he also redid a different bit of paint damage from a previous altercation I had with the garage door (OOOPS)!
