On our way out of Hilo we found a perfect grab and go coffee spot. They are very busy in the morning so that has to be a good sign. Even with all the cars in line waiting for their morning brew it was very speedy service overall! The servers were great and helpful with the menu as there's just so many flavors and options to choose from. When in Hawaii you have to try so local flavors so we had MacNut and Coconut flavors in our coffee....a little on the sweet side but great coffee for the drive. We also had a sandwich to go. A little messy but besides that it tasted AMAZING!! There's no dining "IN" option here but I think there were a few tables outside. It's built as a drive and go coffee set up though. read more

If you decide to walk up and order, don't expect your order to be taken quickly. For some odd reason, the staff decides to favor the drive thru orders by taking them first before thinking about the walk ins. I remember sitting down and waiting to order for like 20 mins before a worker finally stopped ignoring us and making eye contact to get our order. Another time I came here, I ordered something with NO whip cream. Tell me why when my order came, there was whipped cream on it? And even worse... it tasted like cheese! This is one of the coolest places to grab breakfast and coffee. The bagels are always fresh. Sandwiches are made to order and the coffee drink selection is awesome. Unfortunately, the location for drive thru is not the best, as cars are always waiting on the road to pull into the parking lot during prime hrs. The breakfast sandwich I had was adequate, however the bread was rather dry, and the American cheese slice did not add to the taste of the sandwich. Coffee 5/5 - They have a LARGE drink menu. My husband was so excited that they had Breve and we went there for breakfast twice because of it. He had both the hot and iced Breve and enjoyed both. My iced mocha was good, but then again, I have never had bad mocha either. Food 3.5/5 - Both the regular and vegetarian breakfast sandwiches were good but nothing special. The famous Chicken Mac Nut Pesto Sandwich was tasty. However, it was so rich that neither of us could finish it. It was a shame that they didn't have the toasted Kaiser Roll it normally comes on so we got them as wraps. It would probably be better on a roll. Service 3/5 - They don't write anything down doesn't matter how complex your order is. So we weren't surprised that they got some of our orders wrong. We had already left and didn't feel like going back. This is more of a drive-through place. Found this place by accident and what a blessed accident. They had the best milk shakes. Old fashion and tasty. The peanut butter n chocolate tasted like a liquid Recess peanut butter cup. My family and I were visiting from O'ahu when I stumbled upon this place on yelp. We had to try it because of the convenience of it being drive thru, however, don't plan on it being super fast as a drive thru. This place makes quality food and coffee so of course it's going to take a while, but it's worth the wait. They have a variety of coffee and food options to choose from so I would definitely recommend looking and planning ahead before coming to order. I've never been inside, but from the looks of it it's somewhat on the smaller side but there is a few tables and chairs outside to enjoy your food. Nice little coffee place we walked to every morning to get some exercise and enjoy a yummy coffee - sad they didn't have any gluten free options on the food menu, but enjoyed the Breve and Lattes in the mornings and they were tasty. Service was great except one morning we sat out on their patio waiting for 20+ minutes for somebody to take our order (note on the door says they will see us on their cameras and will come out) - the drive thru was busy that morning, but made me think I should walk thru the drive thru to get service. Great drive up find! Delicious breakfast sammies and shakes. I wish we found it earlier so I could try all their drinks. This is a great simple social distance spot. You drive up and the kids/workers come out and take your order then they bring it out to you. I got their breakfast sammie and a chicken pesto sammie. Then we got a chocolate peanut butter shake, large. Just need a chocolate/peanut butter drizzle for the gram but it's simple and taste amazing. This is a great quick stop in downtown Hilo. It's not 5 stars only because it was a little confusing how it worked, if you drove up or got out. If there was signage and then after you order do you continue to drive around to a waiting area? I just assumed the bagel would be toasted, but it wasn't - so if you are like me and don't like chewy bagels - make sure you ask for it to be toasted. Love coming here it has been awhile though because the last time we came in October we had ordered a custom bagel they posted on instagram ( Veggie Brekkie sanwhich with ham and swiss on a Asiago bagel) and were so excited to try it. The wait was super long no lie probably 45min+ im not sure if our server was new but by the time we had received our order and left the picture speaks for itself. You know if all ingredients weren't available it would've been cool to have known ahead of time and we could have probably ordered something else. I came back the other day and ordered the veggie sanwhich on croissant WITH egg swiss and ham and left with a cossiant scrambled egg swiss and ham with out the veggies . Maybe some need to write the orders down and repeat the order to the customers so we both have a clear understanding. I'll continue to support this small local business though, there drinks are super ono! I usually get the choclate mocha frappe this time i ordered the peanut butter shake to share with my son.
