All the staff was inviting and nice and Dr J is an awesome dentist. If your nervous about the shot don't be because I believe Dr J is very good at giving them with the least amount of pain. He expertly removed the teeth that were causing me pain with surgical precision. When I left they gave me a goodie bag with gauze, ibuprofen and directions..well done just dental. read more

I got my tooth filled from the new lady orthodontist there. She was going to do a client before me but the client declined and wanted Dr. Do. I should've taken it as a sign. 3 months after my filling fell out! I went in to get it filled by Dr. Do. Luckily it was only 3 months so they didn't charge me. Why would I be charged when a new hired Dr there didn't do a good job on my filling? Dr. Do redid my filling, he went deep and hit my nerve. I never had a problem with pain on my tooth, I was never in pain before Dr. Do refilled it! Now I'm stuck with long term nerve pain in my tooth! Haven't had a history of cavities in YEARS or any pain coming from my teeth. Can't chew or eat like I used to without feeling PAIN. DOING IT FAST DOESN'T MEAN ITS EFFICIENT! At night my crown chipped, not something I planned. They say they can't do anything until my insurance approves or I pay everything out of pocket. They say insurance can take 3 weeks to approve. I ask if they have payment plan. They don't have any payment plan. I don't have the money to pay upfront. Wanted to add, I got the crown a long time ago from a different doctor. This review is not against the doctor. If my insurance does approve early it would turn to, would I enough money to pay it off because they don't have any payment plan. read more

My first time experience here was great! Check-in was prompt and succinct. I came for a simple cleaning and dental evaluation. Dr. Lomboy did an amazing job cleaning my teeth. Decided to come here because of the good reviews after years of not going to the dentist because of fear. I was so nervous but Dr. James was kind and calmed my nerves right away, answering any questions I had as well as explaining what he was doing. I didn't feel judged at all unlike my experience with some other dentists. Went in for teeth cleaning & he'd make jokes to make me laugh during it. Ended up getting my cavities filled & was so scared for the numbing shot. He was right when he said it'd feel like an ant bite! If there was a minus star, they qualify for it. My wife were almost shocked when they tried to shot. We went to hospital to check it up. They made two crowns to me and two to my wife. Just had a periodic check up at Just dental. Since Dr Duc Do was not available, I had the service with Dr Jenny instead. She is so impressive and so nice. I always have a irritation & difficulty when taking X-ray around wisdom teeth area. She used the acupuncture technique which I have not seen or known in my life. I haven't been to the dentist in a few years because I was very nervous and scared. Everyone from the dentist, to the hygienist, and the receptionist was so kind and understanding about my nervousness. They explained everything to me very thoroughly, offered me breaks, and were very understanding about my anxiety which put me at ease. Also, they take Medi-cal, which is another bonus. Their prices are reasonable and they are upfront about every cost. The equipment and office isn't particularly new or fancy, but it's clean and gets the job done. I haven't been to the dentist since the pandemic, and I got to say it was a wonderful experience! The assistants were always patient, quick, and helpful whenever I needed to make an appointment or had questions. Assistant Ann was also attentive during my dentist procedures! Dr. James was kind, and I had no pain whenever he worked on my teeth! I also warned him ahead of time that I had a deep fear of shots (I had once blacked out bc of my fear). Dr. James was super considerate and would warn me ahead of time whenever he would use the shots for me and remind/talk to me to relax. I also noticed that he would use numbing gel on the area ahead of time. Whenever my panick attacks showed signs of appearing, he would remind me to slow down my breathing or even remind me to breathe whenever I didn't. All of these aspects really helped, and I never ended up going into a panic attack. Also, bc of my fear, I tensed us whenever I saw the dentist tools, but he specifically told me that he would never give me a shot without warning me ahead of time. This was what really helped me fully relax at my dentist appointments! I never fear going to the dentist appointments now, bc I know I could fully trust in my dentist. Listening to the conversations btw Dr. James and the assistants is also really fun to hear and helped me relax, hahaha. I definitely reccomend Just Dental! I got my upper two wisdom tooth taken out & Dr James Tran did a phenomenon job! I walked in very nervous because I think its a hit or miss when it comes to teeth extraction & who does them. Either it will hurt a lot and you just have to pretend it doesn't or it will be smooth and you're out the door. Dr James was very smooth with extracting my teeth.
