If you're scared, hate, don't think of stepping inside a dentist office, have phobia or fear. I literally have had bad experiences and traumatized, from dentist offices. The above was me and literally terrified of any dentist. I didn't want to foot one, even though it was needed. Hello everyone , I found this amazing practice when I was having the worst tooth pain of my life. Thats not hyperbole by the way! I walked in and they treated me with kindness and was seen in less than an hour . I had an emergency extraction due to a cracked tooth. I've had extensive dental work done in the past due to neglect during my childhood and a lack of access to dental care until I came to America. I've seen many dentists and specialists trying to fix my teeth. Some were kind but struggled with my complicated dental issues from childhood, while others were judgmental, which made me feel even more self-conscious. For the past couple of years, I consistently visited my oral surgeon's office because everyone there was very kind. However, the oral surgeon couldn't address all my dental needs. He did his best, but I felt I needed a dentist who could provide more than just surgery. I initially found one dentist, but his appointment schedule was not flexible, so I tried another dentist near my home last year. Unfortunately, that dentist was quite judgmental, making me even more reluctant to seek dental care. This experience caused me to avoid looking for another dentist for about a year. A few months ago, I began searching for a new dentist to address my dental issues again. While scrolling online, I came across Westminster My Dentist and read reviews that praised the staff for being friendly and patient. I was hesitant because it was 30 minutes from my house, but I encouraged myself to make an appointment and see if they could help with my teeth. I'm glad I took the leap after visiting this office for a few months. Dr. Jung is incredibly friendly and patient. He listens to my concerns and priorities. I even asked him to salvage some of my non-salvageable teeth, and he did! What stands out to me is that he doesn't judge the work of other dentists; he evaluates my teeth based on their condition and addresses my concerns. Got my wisdom tooth extracted, the very next day after my walk in consultation. Gave me a detail break down of what other issue I have with my teeth, and a dental plan, possible financial plan. This place looks humble, but the best dentistry practice I have ever experienced in my 30 years of living in Southern California. I've been their patient for around 5 years and had a lot of work done. Their staff treats me like family, technology is modern but not an overkill, services provided are from basic care to implants and veneers, and Dr. Jung is brilliant! This dentist showed me my teeth with cameras and the proper alignment I need so my gums don't recede. They also took care of 3 cavities that my prior dentist office was "watching" for 2 years. Dr. Jung and his staff definitely made each of my visits a great one. Learned more from him than I learned from any other dental clinic I've been too and I'm grateful to have came across this place. I was going to one of my friend's mothers clinic before, but the drive was pretty far from where I live. Even then, my visits here are a lot better than my visits anywhere else. Reason for my visit was because my mouth was in a lot of pain due to a leakage in my filling, which was a temporary fix for my cavity that needed a root canal done. They let me know in great details on what was going on to where I was basically able to understand it in black and white. They also worked with me and my insurance so that I can pay the least amount possible out of pocket. I've honestly had other places that tried to cheat me by saying my insurance only covered "X" amount, but I was skeptical and would call my insurance and found out the that they covered more, but Dr. Jung really went over everything with me and scheduled my appointments around this year and next year since my benefit gets replenished end of year. Him and his staff have great communication when it comes to working on each patient and his work flow is really smooth. Keep up the amazing work! read more
