Petco also has a great customer loyalty program that offers substantial discounts and other promotions. On the other hand ... I don't know if it's a chain-wide issue, but this store has not been maintaining inventory like they used to. We feed our guys Natural Balance Limited Ingredient with "wholesome" grain, but their stock of various sizes and varieties has been thinning out. Last month, this store was sold out of a particular Kong toy. A helpful cashier called the warehouse and arranged for the items to be shipped directly to us. I received an order confirmation email that same day. The next day, I received a notice that the order was delayed. Then, one week later, I was informed that the order was canceled. I did not cancel it and no explanation was given (I was not charged). Last week, I received an email coupon whose subject line stated "Unleash Savings! $50 off just for you," but the actual coupon read "$40 off" (see screenshot). I pointed out the discrepancy to the cashier. When he scanned the coupon, it came up as invalid altogether. He spent considerable time and effort trying to get the bar code to work, but in the end he summoned the manager, who subtracted $50 manually. Petco needs to get its act together.

They are always there 24/7,but they have specific drop off and pick up times. They made an exception for me and my condition. I showed up way past their close time and they were waiting outside to take care of my best friend "Grumpy" So I could concentrate on taking care of my health while they took care of him. I would never assume this is something OK in the future, But it surely was appreciated

Truly, an all-around terrible experience this stay with the staff there. They overcharged for baths…read morewhen the daycare is down the street charge almost 50% less. The manager who runs the center is extremely aggressive and rude when you come to her with things to a point where it led me into a panic attack I'm sure she'll tell a different story. Now that my dog's been home for 24 hours, she's acting very different than she ever has before. She's normally very energetic after coming home and we go straight to the dog park the next day she won't get out of bed and is limping a bit which was not mentioned at all by the staff when I picked her up . They charged me for extra food when I had brought my own which I told them only give her the cans of food so they over fed her the entire stay but feeding her 2 cups of kibble per meal plus a whole can. I said don't give her any of the kibble and paid $40 in canned food which they used both so I wasted $40 for nothing and that is way more food than she should be eating in general. The staff when I voiced, I felt as they were being rude to me, ended up having the manager step in who was just as rude and due to me voicing that opinion they banned me from coming back after being there for 2 years giving them thousands of dollars. I've been sending clients there for years that aren't successful at the Center, I work with, but that will now stop after this experience alone. $70 for a simple bath for a 65 pound dog is crazy. My location charges 40. They also proceeded to make multiple commitments to me that they would send me updates about my Dog and it rarely happened unless I called and asked for it. I occasionally get a text picture(2 over the course of 10 days when I was promised daily updates) , they did not Keep the commitment that they would contact me with pictures every day. They are way better centers in the general area of Andersonville. That will treat you better and create a better experience for you all around and definitely did not charge you anywhere near as much for grooming, boarding or daycare. My name is clearly written on this review if you want to take your dog to a good daycare, that will take great care of your dog and not price guide you by all means contact me personally and I will direct you to some incredible daycare.

However, I got this dog sweater from this location and thought maybe my dog would wear it once or twice for pics but never again. (I'm not a huge fan of dogs wearing clothes, but I had to admit a noticeable difference with my short-haired dog not shivering during winter months while wearing two separate coats. So I backed down on making fun of dog coats. My two larger, furrier dogs in prior years never needed manmade coats.) But this sweater is turning into a Linus blanket situation. I tried putting on a "Christmas" dog coat that matched her red Xmas collar (I love festive dog collars!!!), but it was white and getting dirty too quickly. I took it off to handwash it and put the Bark Place pink sweater on my dog solely for one walk, and she's been running away ever since when I try to take it off at night. At one point, she slid under one of the bar stools in my dining room, around the corner, ran into my bedroom and into her crate, flopping down sideways. Even if you don't need anything else in Bark Place, take note of the dog clothes. A bunch of my relatives crochet and knit, so I already knew the dog sweater was solid quality but expected it to wear. It still looks brand new, and my dog is glued to it. When I take it off to bathe her or what I *think* is comfier to sleep at night, she growls and leaps for it. I think a pink sweater and a red bow collar clash, but she couldn't care less about me being the fashion police. I'm tickled by how much she likes THIS particular sweater but has never ever been this into any other dog clothes gift (that I usually return) in four straight years. Don't sleep on the dog sweaters, I guess, unless you're my own dog who will turn over sideways so she CAN sleep in hers.
