Their prices were reasonable for the amount and quality of work they did. I'll hit them up again should I need work on my leather couches or any upholstering job.

Unfortunately, the seat received water damage and an old cat had its way with the arm. Irene told me what woukd need to be repaired and helped me choose just the right fabric. The love seat needed new foam and a spring, which was made as close to the original as possible. I drove an hour from Longview in order to have her work on the love seat, and it was completely worth it! It looks beautiful. She applied loving detail and did quality work. The window seat cushions were a horrible 1960's pink (really worn and sun as well as water damaged) and the chaise which was my grandmother's was a rust color velvet that was quite worn out and had holes and rips. Kurt made new window seat cushions using my fabric to match my bolster pillows and reupholstered the chaise in a beautiful dragonfly blue velvet that goes much better with our interior.

The ambience of Allen Designs gives me a good feeling like if you could be on the set of a Hallmark Channel movie. It is so cozy and perfectly decorated that you won't want to leave. Each clock, painting, knick-knack,coffee cup, shopping bag etc is so pretty and filled with so much detail. We really enjoyed looking around and hearing the lovely music in the background.
