I was looking forward to going to this place because my daughter and cousin said it was good. This was in October 2022. So I took my friend and she and I got gel mani-pedi, spent $160 and it was horrible. (April 20th 2023) The nail polish came off in 3 days for her. Started chipping away. My daughter went two days after us (April 22nd) got a mani-pedi went swimming the next day and nail polish starts coming off. They are using cheap, water down nail polish. So disappointing. Won't be going back. Spent way too much for something that didn't last. read more

Made an appointment for a full set and pedicure. I was disappointed with how I was treated I wasn't offered any upgrades and didn't get a massage on my feet or even lotion on them. When I asked if I could get lotion on my feet and why I didn't get a foot massage I was told that I needed to do a deluxe pedicure. I asked why I wasn't offered it? Also why a pedicure wouldn't have a massage. I've never had a pedicure without a foot massage. The man continued to argue with me and made me feel like I was asking for too much. I walked out spending $87.00. For mediocre service and no foot massage. I will spend my money elsewhere. read more

If I could leave negative stars I would. I went in yesterday to have a full set done. I had a very specific look in mind and the gentleman told me he would do his best. I understand that when you show people pictures off of Pinterest you're not going to get exactly what you asked for, however as you can see in the photos my nails were not done correctly. There's a huge gap between my cuticle and the acrylic and I look like I need a fill already. I then went back today and expressed my unhappiness with the gap between my cuticle and the acrylic and the gentleman told me that I was wrong and that he had been doing nails for 20+ years. I will never go back to this place. read more

Wish i could leave a negative review left with bleeding cuticles and a horrible full set. I showed them a picture a woman started doing my nails (she was great) then i had to be moved over to the pedicure chair to start my pedicure another man came over and started filing and drilling my nails where her cut me multiple times and i had to keep snatching my hands away. Then after my mediocre pedicure (didn't get a message, lotion, nor was i offered) i was moved to another chair where the man finished drilling. He started the design and asked if i liked it i said no that i wanted my french tip curved not straight he then asked another man to finish my nails because he couldn't do the design. The other man started my design and i told him to make the French too smaller like the picture and he tried to fix it again i could tell he was annoyed so i just let him finish because i was annoyed and didn't want to ask him to remove the whole design. After seeing my nails i wasn't impressed they don't look like what i wanted and end up paying $100 for my full set and my mediocre pedicure. read more

Absolutely horrible went in because I broke a nail and needed a fill and my normal amazing place I go to is in Oceanside when I went in I had an appointment waiting another 20 min later to be seen when placing a new nail on I was told many finger was crooked and she needed guidance to put it on seriously never had that I issue especially when being told one hand is bigger than the other she continued to file the nail crooked and the gel polish that was put on must have been old cause it was way too thick and not even a week later started peeling off and was still wet underneath so not happy will never go back to this place ever again read more

I'm glad I stumbled upon this place. I happened to walk by while waiting for my car wash across the parking lot. The staff was nice and they did a very good job. It's clean and modern inside, they have a large variety of colors to choose from. They where nice enough to call the car wash to ask if my car was ready ( I didn't ask them to , they just did when I mentioned my car was over there ) very nice! They do good quality work. The owners son was very rude. I heard him degrade his parents for being old when there were several older people in the establishment. I paid for services with my credit card and I hand my card to you in you mr hand , I expect it back in my hand especially if my hand is out. He proceeded to throw my card card on the counter. I asked for it to be placed with me as I placed it with him. I was not rude or nasty, just made a statement. That set him off to speak of me in a way you do not speak to any customer. I would not recommend any services m at this with customer service being lacked. Update to posting: It's funny how your information is incorrect and there are MANY posting of your shortcomings of customer service. What I spoke of was true and accurate, however your information of anything that stats ALWAYS is inaccurate. Always would assume you are my secret service and you see me 24/7/365. My services were great, but me questions and asking for my paid calluses remover be left on longer than 30 seconds. As a licensed cosmetologist, I have studied nails and know the proper procedure for calluses remover. As a customer who ask [that is paying for a service], you should be more friendly and receptive to their words. My reviews are reviews good, bad or indifference. I've gotten gel nails here before so I thought I'd take a chance by getting a full set. The man working on my nails was nice though when I asked him to redo my thumb he acted like he didn't hear me. He began to put acrylic as he's telling me that my nails aren't straight. I think that since I'm paying for them and wearing them he could have helped me get the exactly what I wanted. This is what bothers me about the service today. I feel like he tried to convince me by explaining what's best/what he typically does versus help me achieve the desired look. I wish I could leave a negative star for this wack nail shop!! I was apprehensive about going here because I've heard horrible things about this salon but someone bought me a gift certificate so I had no choice but to go here and lord was this the biggest mistake ever smh I wish I would have just tossed the certificate.. all I asked for was a short set will gel polish.. no design no fancy shape just regular ol nails and the guy who did them just couldn't understand that, because my nails are all different lengths and curved like the letter U SMH bro how do you mess up regular nails I don't get it. These are the basics that are taught in school so I'm confused. Please do not go here if you can avoid it please go elsewhere.. then to top it off everyone in there clearly knew i was unhappy but no one cared to even try and fix it!!! I really liked going here! It is not the most fancy place but Vivian did my pedicure and I was so happy with it! I got the most basic pedicure (only $20 + $5 for added jewels I asked for) and it was so worth the price. Vivian did such a thorough job. I will definitely be going back. So I decided to check this place out since I was at the bank and needed to get my nails done for Easter :) and my normal nail salon was booked. Well the ladies were very nice but I just got my nails done yesterday and there already chipping and it seriously looks like my little cousin did them and also I had some acrylic that was still on my nails well of course I thought she would take it off considering I just got a manicure. Nope she painted right over the left over acrylic. I'm really disappointed because I really did enjoy it there my pedicure was amazing. I'm not sure if it was the nail polish or what? read more

I walked in for a pedicure and sat in the chair, they removed my gel nail polish. And in between helping me, the lady went to someone else and finished polishing her nails, then returned wearing the same gloves. I asked if they change gloves and the lady snapped asking "didn't you see me sit in front of you and change my gloves?" I said yes I did , and I also saw you go to the lady next to me touching her again. The lady said her feet was clean, I said ok. Then she got upset and took her gloves off, I told her it's okay I'll go somewhere else, and paid for it(they still charged me, with their dirty work), and walked out. I will not spend money with bad customer service. I won't be back. read more

First time I have been sorely disappointed in their customer service. I made an appointment for a spa pedicure the first in about 18 months. Arrived on time stuck my feet in and sat for 40 minutes and that was it. I dried my feet off and walked out the door, no one said a word, not sorry, not how can we make this up to you, not a word. Too bad for them cuz I'm a hellava generous tipper. I think I'll find a nail salon that actually wants business. read more

Shout out to Dan!! I have been hunting for a good nail tech for way too long! I was just about to give up when one of my friends suggested I give him a try. I'm so thankful I did. He was so METICULOUS!!! He was able to take the hack job of an acrylic set that I had & shape them how they should have been initially shaped! I have been going to Just For Her for the last two years and always thought they did a nice job. Unfortunately this last time I got a pedicure I noticed that the pumice stone looked old and worn - and just a day later my foot started itching... because the cleanliness standards obviously aren't being followed, I was exposed to contact dermatitis. I made an appointment for myself and my bridal party to get nails and toes done. They took everyone in the whole store including walk-ins and had me be the last person. I kept asking when I could be taken and kept being told I was next. Kinda frustrating. So after waiting 2 and 1/2 hours I finally got my turn. I explained everything I wanted she kept shutting me up saying she knows/she's got it..well once she was done I was in tears. My hands looked horrible. Even my girlfriends said it was a horrible job. I probably wouldn't have made too big of a deal (after all they are just nails) but for my wedding I wanted them beautiful for pictures. I expressed my unhappiness with them, super crooked, shaped different. Then she gave me the total. I asked her if she really expected my to pay 45 for the nails I got?? She told me to not screw her over and not to do this to her. I literally was shaking I was so upset. Not only did I wait 3 hours to get them done...they looked like crap...now she wants me to pay for something I now had to make time to fix and pay for again the next day. She just argued with me called me STUPID and said I was a mean person. I asked her how I am mean when I just wanted my nails to look nice...she said fine I have to take them all off of you if you aren't going to pay. I told her it doesn't matter I have to go to my nail place to take them off the next day any ways. She already made us late to a spray tanning appointment I made for us girls...i told her I had to go. But she swore I was just trying to get free nails. I just sat and said fine take them off. Then she really got ridiculous and starting cutting super rough and close to my skin I told her not to hurt me by trying to prove a point...Then she started yelling and finally a sane nail tech took her spot and was gentle and sweet. I thanked her for being kind. And I told my sister I should have gone to my regular nail place and again the crazy lady started yelling at us and said nobody can make me happy and told us to shut up. Omg... We were in shock I even told my sister she should have recorded her so we could have posted it on yelp. I tipped the nice lady that took the nails off for me which she actually refused a couple times. But I told her it isn't about the money. I will pay and tip very generously when someone gives great customer service. But that rude lady..... Ugh. All you can do is pray for people like that. Avoid this shop ....save yourself an encounter with devil lady! Go to Sunny Nails instead! They fixed my nails and I was one happy bride!!! :) read more

I come here to get the UV Gel manicure and they do a great job! I've tried at least a half of dozens other nail salons and the gel will peel after a few days or they will make it so thick. Here at Just For Her Nail Spa my nails last 3 weeks with no chips or peeling! I always see Tammy. She pays close attention to detail and my nails always look natural. This place is rip off.I'm visited the area and this place just down to the hill that my mom live so i gave a try .i came to get a full set coffinx the older gentlemen got me in right away. he seem really rushed on my nails at the end i paid 47 ? for the awful job....my nails already start to lifted and caught my hair within a week. Thrilled to have found Letting Go in early March when Lorraine put me on a waiting list and got me in on a Friday when another customer cancelled. Perfect timing, too, because it was just a few days prior to me and my mother putting ourselves on "house arrest" because of the C-Virus scare. Although Lorraine is a "nail artist," I told her I only wanted something similar to what I have been doing a long time; purple base with glitter. I asked her, don't you have samples you can show me from a bottle? She says, "We don't do it that way here. I custom-make your gel colour and glitter to your specifications." I showed her some pix of my nails from the other salon, and she used that as a starting point. Now that I trust her implicitly, I will likely let her come up with her own purple colour and glitter ideas next time. It is nearly a month since I had the work done and only ONE nail is starting to chip so far. I hope I can hold out until my house arrest is over, like another month, by clipping the nails carefully. This is a small intimate salon, not crowded with people since is appointment only. Unlike most other salons, the technicians are not rushing, so plan extra time for this type of quality. Also, be prepared to pay more money here than at an assembly line salon, but it is worth every penny of it. (My last nail shop couldn't even get the colours straight cuz the samples were often in the wrong spot with the wrong number). That can't happen here because there are no samples with numbers! I can't wait to go back for my hands and feet, hopefully by late May!

She told me she couldn't do the massage thats usually included cause her fingers hurt but still charged the same price. I took my boyfriend and daughter for pedicures, for what was suppose to be some fun quality time, since we don't get this time together often. When we walked in, the hostess wasn't very kind. We were the very first customers there, as it was early, and almost felt like we were imposing, when we were THEIR guests/customers. Needless to say, multiple toes were cut from rough handling and one even bled, paint jobs were not good at all, and my daughter picked multiple colors that weren't available due to them being dried out. They even hurt her little 6 yr old toes. She comes with me to Temecula for pedicures, when we have the time, with beautiful experiences, and we have never had any issues with her. Not to further nitpick, but the music was so loud & not a relaxing mix, which was the least of our concerns. It just added to everything. So, to sum things up, I am from the tipping industry. I lived off of tips for the majority of my life, so I honestly respect tipping and understand the importance & purpose of it. Our experience from start to finish was so so bad. $95 later, which is a normal rate, I honestly felt that my normal $25 tip & sometimes more, depending on the financial month, lol, wasn't deserved. I always happily go in expecting to tip & expecting to spend. Today was not it. As I paid the tab, I unfortunately felt compelled to only tip $12 for all, which I know is super minimal. Believe me, I am fully aware. Do you know what the hostess did? She looked me straight in the face & said, "This is it for 3 people?" I couldn't believe it. I would have tipped my usual over 20% if the pedicures were at least good, without bleeding, bad energy & horrible customer service etc... But, the nerve of this woman to not only be rude from the start, but then try to call us out at the end? I'm appalled! And again, I'm truly a believer that Tips are EARNED! They are not required. I believe in tipping and tipping well. Moral of the story: I will never set foot in this establishment again, nor should you, and I'm actually sad that this was our experience, so close to home.

I typically get the Luxury Spa Pedicure with gel. This time for my birthday month I decided to go the weekend before to get my pedicure and asked for the Collagen Spa Pedicure with gel. ($67 + $15 gel + $15), as far as color I asked to try the cat eye polish. I also told the nail tech that because they use the drill to take off the gel my big toe nails have been brittle and sometimes break at the edges before my next appointment. So I asked for some sort of builder gel or something to strengthen it. (One time one tech did rebuild a section of my toe nail with builder gel to match) Well I'm not sure she understood me. About 5 hours later sure enough my right toe nail cracked in the middle/edge. It was too late on a Saturday to go back and ask for it to be fixed. I called around 10am Monday morning and was told to come in at 4:20. I did. I never felt so judged and the looks I was getting when the receptionist went around telling about 4 different techs my complaint. I did wait about 15 minutes for someone to help me, which was fine, but then the tech who originally did my nails didn't even fix it. She said she didn't hear me when I said I wanted builder gel, just that I was saying I had issues with them breaking. So now I felt bad that someone else is having to fix it. So I obviously tipped her. (Mind you I tipped $20 to the tech who did my nails Saturday). Then she gives me a bill of $10! She ended up putting a tip on. 1. It was wayyy too long and had to ask her to file it down and still looks too long. 2. Then I noticed that the cat eye was facing the wrong way! I'm so disappointed how this was handled and these were supposed to be my birthday nails. I paid a total of $131 for a pedicure I'm not even happy with and don't match.
