Despite the fact that she was only buying a little betta, she was given the full attention of the staff who helped her, who also asked her all kinds of questions about her set-up, what area we lived in (specifically our water source), and her experience so far. They listened to what she said and tailored guidance and advice for her, taking her every bit as seriously as if she was buying a full saltwater system. For a few bucks, they sold her five gallons of pre-treated water ideal for a betta. She loves the betta she got, and this one is lively, healthy, and happy.

Every member of the staff that I have met was friendly knowledgeable, and cared genuinely about the experience for both my pup and for us. Communications has been excellent. Our dog Blondie looks forward to going 2 to 4 days per week. She always comes home tired which is what we would expect. The facility is excellent and gets better every day. They are constantly improving but, I'm impressed by the diversity of the engagement that the dogs have. They have group play in a room or they can go outside and there's a splash pad which apparently is a big hit. Maybe it's a pool I don't know but it's shallow and the dogs get wet and enjoy it. The staff members we have watched interact with not just our dog, but also with the entire group is a whole and they have always been actively engaged and moving the entire time. We're not talking about a minute or two at a time, they are constantly moving and constantly engaged. It's actually very impressive. I have to call out Omar who did a very difficult nail trim on our pitsky (pit bull - Husky) as the quick of her nail comes out fairly far. It is the best nail trim. She has had to date. No problems whatsoever and he said it was easy. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND and wholeheartedly endorse The Dog Stop - Plano as a safe and wonderful place to take your pet for play and grooming. this place is absolutely horrific, i would not recommend going here. it seems like a nice place,…read morewith lots of livestock and supplies but it's not. i recently got an ocellaris clownfish from here and i had noticed paleness around the mouth area, thinking nothing of it, i took it home. not even two weeks later this fish is dead, its body pale. the salinity and temperature in my tank at normal range. i tested my water thinking it was maybe an ammonia spike, no ammonia. then i tested nitrate and nitrite, none of that either. my mocha storm clownfish that i intended to pair with the clownfish that died started acting strange. paleness on its sides, stringy mucus coming off of it, hanging near the sand bed only, heavy and fast breathing. my mocha storm clownfish has brooklynella! it was perfectly healthy before i got this recent clownfish and now my mocha storm is fighting for its life while i treat it. not to mention, once you actually get a closer look of the fish at this place you will notice dead orandas/goldfish just floating in the water. i saw multiple goldfish with popeye, swim bladder diseases, and dropsy! i also saw a betta with a really bad case of fungal infection near its mouth, it was awful. do NOT buy from this place at all if you care about your fish. i highly recommend the north dallas aquarium in carrollton. by the way, i downloaded this app and made an entire account just to get my point across that this place is so incredibly horrible. i truly care about my fish and i have been in the fish hobby a few years now and will not be coming here ever again. horrible place, absolutely disgusting, these poor creatures do not deserve this level of cruelty and unkempt illnesses.
