I needed some locks rekeyed. My home warranty company told me this company doesn't cover my area. I called them to see if that was some kind of mistake since I was only 5 miles from their shop. The not so friendly woman who answered the phone said we don't cover that area. I asked if they cover the other end of town which is much further away than my home. She's said yes. My garage door large spring broke yesterday. Both my cars were in garage. Panic, to say the least. I called this business right away, and even though they were very busy, the owner, Jerry came over in an hr or so and within a day he fixed it. I have owned my home in Lake Havasu for 10 years. JGD has installed 2 garage doors professionally and have maintained them as well when needed. The companies foundation from what I have experienced is knowledge on the product they sell. Workmanship, they are detail oriented from start to finish. Warranties, they stand behind and will either guide you after the warranty is up or just replace or repair the problem. Just garage doors is a class act company with true genuine people behind it. I don't know how long garage door openers have been around at least since the 1950s, but this guy installs piss poor doors. It closes half way and then something malfunctions and it comes backup again I have no idea why. The clickers and the manually installed wall unit both do it. When my wife called the guy 1 time to come take a look he was an asshole according to her and tried to blame us for the cheap sensor he installed. That thing has never been touched by us and nothing is near it that can obstruct it. Jerk off. Use someone else. read more

Some idiot (me) tried to back out of the garage before the door was fully open. Luckily was able to stop before damaging the car. The door, however, was pushed out about 3-4 inches. The man from JGD was able to straighten the door without having to replace any parts and for a very reasonable fee. I highly recommend them and would use them again. read more

If it were possible to give a lower rating I would. Made an appointment to have work done only to be stiffed on the time. Waited for over an hour and a no show on the repairman. While apologetic in the office I was told the repairman went to another job after mine was scheduled first for the day. Boy, that really demonstrated how unimportant my business is to them.
