After returning home from these repairs, I noticed grease splatter and leaking from the cv axles. This was taken care of on an additional visit at no cost to me. Then in Jan '25, I returned to have the A/C looked at again (for the original issue) and some new clunking noises that had surfaced from front end work. This time I'm told there is no visible issues with the A/C and the clunking noises could be anything. With the mis-diagnoses of the A/C, clunking issues, and leaking of the axle, I've decided that I can no longer trust the "guessing and wanting to throw parts at it", that Stephen made reference to. I will no longer need servicing at Rennen Imports.

After receiving my diagnosis, I decided to do one repair, and they fixed my car right up. And Mike informed me of things to be aware of. Great customer service! My only gripe and it's such a pet peeve of mine when going to Independent Shops, is the lack of grounds-keeping. Immediately after leaving the shop I hear the dreaded sound of a nail in my tire, and immediately became so frustrated that I was ready to forget the incredible service up until then. The lack of professionalism to leave loose nails around is a killer, and you definitely wouldn't run into that problem when at a BMW dealership. When oversight like this happens, it makes you wonder if other careless mistakes are made when working on the vehicle. I'm not saying that is the case, but you can't help but wonder.

I never took my other car anywhere else for service. Customer service is amazing; you will never feel like "maybe he is trying to take advantage of me because I don't know anything about cars." They are honest and kind; they will look at your car and provide a true assessment before trying to charge you. I don't go here that often now because I have a newer car and the dealership included basic maintenance for a few years with my purchase. However for anything else... I go here first. I don't even want to give my money to any other auto repair place because they are more than deserving of the business. When I had a large plastic bag stuck under my car, I asked if they could lift it to see if there was more leftover that I could not reach. They did so and didn't even charge me for it. Recently, my tire needed a patch and they provided a recommendation to another place because it is not a service they offer. Again I'm grateful they could provide that recommendation because I really didn't want to go anywhere besides here and wouldn't have trusted anywhere I found on my own. Warning: They are amazing and it's no secret to others in the area, which means they are of course busy. If you need something simple like an oil change, be there before they open (I would always go on Saturday early morning and it wouldn't take too long). Or you could be more responsible than myself and make an appointment. Otherwise just be patient and know they are worth the wait because they really provide quality service true to the name.
