Jerk Chicken Combo with Rice and Peas, cabbage and macaroni and cheese!!! Everything was great!!!
    Asha W.

I've been passing this place for over a year and TikTok influenced me to give it a try. I believe the owner was there working behind the counter. Very nice greeting me upon arrival. The place could be a vibe if maybe it weren't on such a busy street. It wasn't dirty but could use a deep clean. Food was great! Fresh, hot, affordable tasting the quality of ingredients.

Really cozy lunch spot! There was a jenga set we played after we ate, and the music was really good. Food was overall solid, mac and cheese is by far my favorite. Oxtail is a must get if you go!

First time ordering from this restaurant. I ordered the jerk chicken pasta dinner with seasoned rice and cabbage as well as the jerk rib tip dinner with Mac and yams. My order with the pasta ended up coming with Mac and not the cabbage I ordered. The pasta is ok tastes kind of sweet and spicy but the noddles were definitely over cooked. The seasoned rice doesn't really have any seasoning on it. The Mac, yams and jerk rib tips were the best thing I ordered today.

I noticed that this place had beef patty's and so we ordered 2 of those and a jerk chicken meal that came with rice and greens. The rice was delicious and so were the pattys, I wish they had cheese or chicken ones too. The jerk chicken was okay, is lacked a bit of flavor. However I did not like the greens they did not taste fresh.

Gee's has a new location, walking distance from UC! I was excited to try it. I received a friendly greeting when I walked in and was directed to check out the menu. I ordered the curry goat with plantains and cabbage. The goat was the most tender I have ever had. I was nervous that it would be hard to eat because of all the bones, but the meat just fell off the bone. Where the dish fell a little flat for me was in terms of flavor. The curry was present but had no spice and the plantains weren't ripe and sweet. Still, it was a great lunch and I had enough for two days! There's plenty of seating for a group. Worth checking out.

Absolutely fire food, plenty to eat. Current price for what i ordered is 15$, everything was INCREDIBLY delicious, but my favorite was the yams all the way. I could literally just eat a bowl of that lol Its relaxing in here, peaceful, good music, polite employees

I'd definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone who's looking for good Caribbean food. I had the oxtails, cabbage, corn bread and macaroni and cheese. Cashier/ staff does an amazing job of describing anything on the menu. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great dining experience.

He was genuinely friendly, accommodating with my order, and made me feel like a valued customer from the moment I walked in. While waiting for my food, we chatted about other Jamaican restaurants around Cincinnati. What stood out most was how highly he spoke of the competition. Instead of putting other restaurants down, he gave each one credit where it was due. That level of confidence and respect says a lot about both the owner and the business. I took a quick look around while I waited, and the restaurant was spotless. The space felt clean, comfortable, and inviting. I ordered my meal to go and had about a 30-minute drive home. When I finally opened my container, steam poured out and the food was still piping hot. That's the kind of freshness you hope for but don't always get! The only hiccup was that my macaroni and cheese was accidentally left out of my bag. I called the restaurant, and before I could even explain why I was calling, the owner immediately acknowledged the mistake. He apologized and assured me he'd remember me the next time I came in. His response was genuine and customer focused, which made the situation easy to overlook. Great hospitality, delicious fresh food, and excellent customer service. If this first visit is any indication, I'll definitely be back and next time, I'm getting extra mac and cheese!

The menu looked amazing, so I drove us there. When we pulled up, I thought we had the wrong place. It is inside of an office building. Tip: Go to the second floor and make a left. The aroma of the food will lead your right to it. When we arrived, they had music playing and chill vibes. You can order and pay through the kiosk. After we placed our order, we went into the dining area. The food came out pretty quickly. I ordered 10 wings and coco bread. For my flavors, I selected the pineapple jerk wings and the honey jerk wings. The owner came out personally and brought my wings to me. The owner is a really solid dude. He gave us the backstory on the restaurant and told us about his homemade sauces. You can tell that he really is passionate about his business. The wings were smoked and sauced to perfection! And they are 10 for $10! Can't beat that price for the quality they are giving you. The coco bread was a nice addition, I used it to soak up the leftover jerk sauce I had in my container! My wife got the jerk salmon with fried rice and jerk yum yum sauce. Yes, you heard me right! Jerk Yum Yum Sauce!!! I had to steal a couple of bites off of her plate, and I shared one of my wings with her. She loved her meal, and the jerk yum yum sauce was phenomenal. We ordered The Hut Punch, which is sugar-free and comes with real fruit pieces. It was very refreshing and flavorful. Lastly, the customer service! We met the owner and his wife. They have managed to bring a piece of Jamaica to Ohio. When we were about to leave to head back to Columbus, I told my wife that I couldn't leave without getting some jerk yum yum sauce to go. I asked if they sold sauces to go. The owner went out of his way to go and purchase containers so that I could take some home. He didn't have to do that, but I am truly grateful that he did. I am now back in Columbus, and I have already started pouring on my fried rice and loving every bite! If you love Jamaican food, you have to try this place! Jerk Wings 1-5=5! Coco Bread 1-5=4. So decided to go to this place because I have been craving Jamaican food, let's proceed…read more Venue: I'm not going to lie when I pulled up the parking lot was being worked on and the venue kind of looked suspect. However, When you go inside there's a left section a right section, and about four tables where you can sit and dine in (two tables on each side). Then you walk up to a glass where you put in your order. The inside was clean. The only thing was their door every time it closed kept making a loud banging noise so it was alarming until you got used to it. We decided to dine in and I'm glad we did. Would I come here on a date, naaa. But would I come here with the family and some friends for sure (which I did). Service: First of all you know there's that stereotype that if you go to a Jamaican restaurant and the service is bad the food is going to be amazing? ROFL. Honestly, I was scared because the guy who greeted us, Jason, was super nice. So in my head, I'm thinking oh man this food is about to be horrible lol. Jason is one of those people with an energetic, charismatic personality and he spoke with such kindness and happiness. I was thinking to myself whatever he's on I'm trying to get on it as well l, to be as happy as he is. Throughout the whole meal, he checked on us, made sure we were good and asked for our opinions. There was also another lady who came out and greeted us as well as very nice people. Amazing service!!!!!! Once again amazing service! Shout out to Jason! Food: like I said after the great service we received I wasn't feeling too hopeful about the food being good rofl. However, let me state this, I'm actually upset that I went into this establishment because now I have to figure out how I am going to budget for coming here so often. The food was unbelievably delicious!!!!! Danggggggg. (Punches air) l wish the food was nasty so I could not go back but it's nootttt. I'm about to go broke coming here every day almost ugh. They should start a loyalty program rofl. I got the Oxtail, on everything, this was so fresh and hot. Some of the best oxtail I've eaten. I've noticed a lot of Jamaican restaurants making their oxtails overly sweet but this was perfect. Like the gravy was really really good. The only thing I should have done was ask for more gravy which Jason told me I could have done after the food was gone lol. I know for next time. The rice was good. Let me say this, I don't even like cabbage but the way I smashedddddd. I legit inhaled all the food. My friend got the chicken curry. That chicken curry was seasoned just right not too salty not under season but perfect for dipping my beef patty in. My sister got the jerk chicken and when I say it tasted like they were killing the chicken and smoking it out in the back babbbyyyy!!!!! Whew, lord the way I'm trying not to go there while writing this ugh. I also ordered the festivals...... Just buy two orders trust me. Listen I could go on and on about the food let me just do the cons because it's easier. The only thing I wasn't too fond of was the plantains I feel like they were overly cooked I like mine's little bit firmer but to each their own they were still not bad. And the drink I got the Sorel was good but it was overly sweet. However, once I started eating the sweetness definitely went right along with the savoryness of the food. Price: for the oxtail, jerk chicken, two orders of festivals, two drinks I paid around $46. Not bad at all because the way I was eating all I could think about was my bills about to be $100 and it wasn't so I was happy. Pricing isn't bad. Yall know oxtail expensive! Lol Summary of you can't read all that lol. Do I recommend this place I sure the heck do! One of the best Jamaican restaurants in Cincinnati, I would say. The only thing is, I wish there was a little bit more of everything since you're paying almost $20 for each dish. It seemed like only 2 people were operating the business so be patient. It's definitely well worth the wait!!!!
