Best breakfast place in Indy.... good food/great service but the best part it comes at an affordable price.

Just Judy's is an iconic must visit periodically for those who've experienced it in either of its iterations. It's a pretty bare bones dining room and the many choices for meals are all priced to be easy on the wallet. Today, I had eggs fried perfectly, a thick slice of ham (very tasty), crispy (my request) hash browns and a half order of biscuits & gravy for $6. Servers are pleasant and efficient. Just Judy's is the definition of a mom and pop diner. It's a tiny little place but the food is delicious. Was in the neighborhood and decided to hit this place up, was looking for something quick, good and inexpensive Judy's hits the mark on all 3. Wife got the Midwestern omelet, thank you Judy for the lo carb option, no more a' la carte, note to kitchen hash browns needed to be cooked longer, mushy. Coffee pot left with you, service is quick, like 5 minutes quick, gotta like that. It is what it is, Judy's hit's that niche just right, don't go changing. Support local is something that our family lives by. So when we stumbled across this place it was a must! Just Judy's has great prices and great food. I love how the servers and staff all know the regulars. The cinnamon toast is awesome just in case you were wondering. My only complaints are: only one refill on beverages and the seating is very limited. So sometimes you have to wait a long time or sit at a table with other people. Which in the world we live in could be weird. Or I guess awesome.... depends on if you are outgoing. Give it a try it's good stuff! read more

My husband and I have been looking for a new breakfast place now that our favorite closed due to COVID. Judy's was great! We both ordered the same thing besides toast. I went with sourdough and he went with white. After a longing look at my toast I handed it over and he obliged that I had made the better choice. It's not that the white was bad it's just that the sourdough is that good. Bring an empty stomach because this place knows how to feed you. The portions are not messing around. Went for breakfast and it was delicious. If you get the pancakes they are huge! I recommend asking for the mini pancakes which are actually normal human size. Seating is very limited and you will probably be rubbing elbows with the people to you. The breakfast burrito was also fantastic. read more

I had visited this place when they were located off of 54th St and thought it was pretty average. I returned to their new location and found not much has changed. The food was sub standard diner food that was simply reheated and served to us. The hash browns were more like mashed potatoes than hash browns- very soggy. The service was good and our food arrived in under 5 minutes from the time we placed our order. There are a lot of other breakfast spots close by that I would choose before returning here. This place has really good food and it is really cheap, I was with my family(there were 3 of us) and it cost us just 23$ however I gave it 4 stars because the restaurant itself is really small and it was really busy. Unfortunately we went there on a Sunday morning and we had to sit next to the entrance and people kept coming in and it was getting crowded cause there was no waiting area. I understand that they probably can't afford a bigger location because of their insanely cheap prices but I wish they had a better way of managing a lot of people coming in. We have gone for brunch two of the last three Sunday's. The only think keeping it from a 5 is the coffee. Their breakfast sandwich on the croissant is one of my favorite breakfast items in the city. I've had it with ham and with sausage. Both were great. The breakfast bowl is large and they are impressively accurate with how you want your eggs.
