I visited Just Puppies in Towson back in March planning to buy a puppy. I had already been on the website for a few weeks and had a few breeds and specific dogs in mind. When I first entered the store it did seem a little small to me. I do agree that they need more space. I will also agree that the staff needs to be a little more on the ball with greeting customers and what not. However once I went to the counter and told them I wanted to look around things went smoothly. They told me feel free to look at the puppies, just stay behind the silver line and do not touch the cages. I walked around and saw that the puppies were separated by breed and housed two in a cage so that they had a playmate. A few of the dogs were resting (it was like 5pm) and some were up staring at me, playing with their den mate, etc. While walking through a little puppy caught my eye and I asked the staff about him. He was a chocolate and white cocker spaniel born on december 1st, 2010. They asked if I wanted to play with him for a while. Of course I said yes. They told me to enter the little playroom and use hand sanitizer before and after playing with him. This puppy was the cutest most playful little guy. He was so sweet and curious about me and his surroundings. played with him for a good 15 minutes then told the staff guy that he was the one I wanted. So I brought the cocker spaniel that day in March. The lady at the counter went over various documents with me. From the health guarantee, AKC registration papers, updated vet information, the puppies current food brand and daily schedule, plus some. After that she told me I could go a head and look around and purchase any supplies I may need. I ended up buying the starter package, which was great. It gave me a crate w/ bed, food and water bowls, a bag of food, collar, leash, toy, and some. I also got his dog tag while I was there. After that they helped me bring my new puppy and all of my supplies to my car. Also I had no problem with using one of their selected vets, because Dr. Slovon at Owings Mills Animal and Bird Hospital was already they vet I was going to for my hamster. Overall I had a wonderful experience, and I would recommend this place to others, and I have. read more

My daughter is receiving a puppy for christmas and my family and i came so she could play with some and see which one she would like. We called ahead to see if she could play with some of them and they said yes. When we got there they gave us no greeting of any sort. We proceeded to walk around and look at the puppies and when i went to ask to play with the puppies the lady, very rudely, said no and that when i called i never asked if she could play with them. After that we just kept looking while my daughter got upset. After then my friend asked the lady again and said that when i called she said yes and now has changed her mind. The staff was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. The place was clean, and didn't smell to me. All the pups were happy and had friends they were playing with. They let me take the little Pomeranian puppy out to play with that I was looking at. So I'm not sure why some reviewers said they couldn't play with the dogs. They stayed open almost an hour late for me, so that I could get my dog and go over all of the information to help him grow up healthy and strong. They even sent me home with all kinds of food (for free) because they said he was a picky eater. Yes this IS a place that sells purebred dogs so they ARE from breeders. It's too be expected. The only thing I would mention, is the price! My dog was $1,400. So definitely on the expensive side, but worth it to me. :) I do have a mixed bread rescue at home so I know both ends of adopting a dog. If your looking for a little buddy, adoption is the way to go! But I was looking for a particular breed, so this place fit my needs. read more

We had a great experience at Just Puppies. We literally just went to look at puppies as i was still healing from the death of my first fur baby. I fell in love with a sweet Maltese puppy who seemed to be so comfortable with us right from the start. For a Maltese, that means it has been treated well since they are very nervous dogs in general. Just puppies cares a lot about how the puppies are treated while there. You can't handle them unless you are serious about buying, which is better for the dog in general. While we were holding him and deciding what we wanted to do, the staff were so kind and helpful. We learned about all of their processes in caring for the dogs, and some great tips about helping him adjust to us and our home. They knew a lot about our puppy's parents and they physically bring puppies to the store from breeders and have them checked by their vet. We were given a packet of info that was full of info and training tips, including a suggested crate training schedule. So nice when it's been a while! It's only been a few days, but our dog is doing so well. We are more than pleased and plan to tell our friends! read more

Went to the Towson location and it was the worst customer service I have experienced to this date. I walked in and did not notice any signs about staying back behind a tape line they have, and instead of coming up to me and explaining their rules an employee started just saying "no no no, back back back" from a distance. I did not hear her or realize she was talking to me as she did not even say excuse me or come up to me at first, not to mention the fact I thought it was a mother yelling at a toddler. I immediately apologized and stepped back, and she walked away without saying anything else or asking me if I needed any assistance or wanted any additional information about the dogs. I looked around for someone to ask questions about one of the pups but of the two employees there one was helping another customer and the other was behind the counter looking down and avoiding eye contact. Then, they had an adorable bigger dog out of the kennels in a little fence circle in the store. My friend went over to look at the cutie and the dog jumped at her (in a playful way) and moved the fence towards her almost hitting her. She put her hands up to stop it from hitting her and the same rude woman who had yelled at me then finally awakens from ignoring us behind the counter to say "no no no" again like she's yelling at a three year old and then quickly returns to behind the counter. I entered the shop with my friend who had the intention of getting a puppy, even had the money on his card for their steep steep prices, but the way we were treated when in the shop made us feel like our business was not welcome because we are younger 20s. I was really appalled by this, as someone who works in customer service. I understand it is probably frustrating with people constantly going up to touch the puppies when it is not allowed, but then the employees should greet you when you walk in instead of ignoring you and then should explain the policies, as the store was not crowded (only one other family in the shop) and they weren't doing anything else. I understand I look younger but I should still be treated with respect. The puppies are adorable and I hope they find great homes, but sadly I'll have to take my business elsewhere due to the rude and disrespectful staff, and if you look on the younger side I advise you do the same. Not to mention how sad these pups look, one of them was crying the entire time we were there and just wanted some attention. I volunteer at an animal shelter and so I understand how it is very important for puppies not to be exposed to germs but that is where you can provide sanitizer or actually take us seriously enough to provide some semblance of customer service and allow us to actually meet the dog. read more

I bought an AKC registered Yorkshire Terrier from Just Puppies of Towson in May of 2008. He is the best dog I have ever had. He is healthy and he was most likely from a puppy mill in Missouri. I'm not a puppy mill fan, but I look at my puppy as a puppy mill rescue. Puppy (he's 3 but he still likes being called puppy) is a smart dog, a nice dog, and a healthy dog. The vet that is/was connected with Just Puppies in Towson was not my cup-O-tea, but that is just personal choice. I'm sure he is a fine vet, he just checked his personality at his door, and off to work he goes. I have a nice vet (Dr. Shortall in Cockeysville) that loves puppy and we are living happily ever after. Thanks Just Puppies for a wonderful buddy. read more

This is my true story: I purchased a pricy Beagle from Just Puppies for $400 in November 2011. The pup was about 9 weeks old and came from a breeder in Minn. or Mass. I think. Turns out the little girl had the parasite Giardia. This was ok as I was able to treat her with a prescription and she grew healthy. While growing and now, although she's a beauty, she doesn't look like a beagle. To me, she looks a little like a Beagle and Brittany Spaniel mix. Her hair is long, her ears have crimped hairs, she's lean with longer legs, and her markings are atypical. I would never try to seek compensation from the store since It didn't matter to me to read or comply with the terms of their guarantee. I just wanted her and I love my dog. There are many different types of people and reasons that they may buy or adopt a dog. I just want to share my experience. read more

I recently moved into the apartment complex, Promenade, just a short five minutes down the road from Just Puppies. I was on a search for a new puppy to keep my roommate and I company in our new place, however, we made the wrong choice of visiting this store. After walking in, none of the employees said hello or offered any help. They simply ignored us and continued to sit behind the counter and walk around the store. Shortly after I noticed a puppy that I was interested in and leaned forward to pet the dog. Next thing I knew, one of the older, disrespectful employees screamed at me "STRIKE ONE. No touching the dogs". I was appalled that she would speak to a future customer in that manner. It was enough to make me want to leave right on the spot but I ignored her rude behavior and continued looking. I continued to become more irritated as I waited to be helped, so I finally walked up to the younger boy and asked if I could play/see one of the golden retrievers, in which he replied I would have to speak to his manager. I patiently waited for her to help us, however, she continued to walk around the store as if we weren't there. I gave up since it seemed impossible to see the dogs, and leaned forward again, finally receiving some attention. "You need to leave miss, you don't follow rules". I looked at the older lady and replied that I hadn't been helped and was seriously interested in purchasing one of the golden retrievers but she walked by and proceeded to ignore me. I felt uncomfortable, disrespected and very annoyed. As we were leaving another customer asked if we found any puppies we were interested in and I explained the story, ending with the fact that I was seriously interested in a new dog. The female employee scoffed at me and said "yeah right". After that comment I knew I would no longer be visiting this trashy, filthy, uneducated establishment. I hope no one make the mistake of buying any puppies from this store. They leave the dogs in cages, climbing on top of each other without much room. The entire store smells like pee and strong cleaner. I think this adoption center needs to be shut down for the safety of the animals and future customers. Do NOT come to this shop unless you plan on purchasing on the spot. I had been in the store for a total of 5 minutes and had not even played with any puppy yet and the saleswoman had already said six times, "unless you are going to purchase today, you can only look at one dog". I believe selecting a puppy should be a fun process and one in which you select the dog that is meant for you. After all, the dog will be a part of your family for years to come. I understand that these puppies are young, but if their immune systems are so weak that people can not touch them then they are not ready to be sold in a pet shop. We got our Silky Terrier from Just Puppies on September 17, 2011. Everything was easy and her health at the time was perfect. She became our first baby, our first love, and we had 6 amazing years with her. This past Christmas, she wasn't eating and we found out that she had three tumors and didn't have much longer to live. She died on Jan. 7, 2018. Of course one cannot find the cause of cancer, however, I did do some digging and found out that Theresa Goode, her breeder that breeds dogs sold at Just Puppies, had violations and I believe was questioned as being a puppy mill. Of course, I am not sure if our Bailey came from a puppy mill, but the fact that she was 6 with cancer tells me it was very genetic. Our hearts are broken. So overall, I am not sure if Just Puppies is to blame, but it was very unfortunate :( read more

I got my puppy from this store in April. When I went to the towson location, the store was relatively clean besides what you'd expect from a room filled with puppies. I was able to sit down and play with her prior to buying for a litte over an hour, after which an employee had to take her for nap time (puppies under 3 pounds are at risk for hypoglycemia apparently). I put down a deposit for a hold, and the next day I came in to take her home. It's been almost 2 months since I've had my Shih Tzu and it's been an experience. She did have kennel cough symptoms which took a few weeks to clear up, but all of the meds were covered (love the vet @ family pet hospital btw). She also had minor eye issues and sneezing, which we found out is due to mild hay fever. Other than allergies to pollen, she's been given a clean bill of health. She just turned 4 months old yesterday, is up to date on all of her shots, and is as busy as ever. I do plan on getting another puppy in the near future, however, this store was on the expensive side (and I'm sure the puppies probably aren't pure bred)... that being said for the money i will probably consider a reputable breeder next time. read more

This was a really bad experience and the puppies seemed sad. Staff was pretty rude, would not recommend

I've waited a long time to write this. In fact, my pup just turned two, and next month, I will have had him for two years. I wanted to wait a year to write this as a superstition, and then it's taken me almost another year as I haven't been keen to enter into the great debate that this store sets off. In short, my dog is absolutely wonderful. When I decided to get a dog, I never once questioned where to go because my parents got their first Yorkie from Just Puppies. That dog was the most wonderful dog - trainability, demeanor, health, interaction with other animals and people, etc. He passed away last winter at the age of 12, and when sympathy cards literally poured into my parents, so many people commented on how he was their favorite dog after their own and how they personally will miss him beyond how much we will. Needless to say, he gave Just Puppies a great reputation around town. In fact, my constant talking about him led a coworker to buy her first dog from JP. She is equally in love with her wonderful pup. Well now my guy, while somewhat more rambunctious than my parents' ever was, is again solidifying that renown. Let it be known that six years ago, my parents got two more Yorkies from an elite breeder on the Eastern Shore. My aunt had just gone there, so they were on that bandwagon. I don't think too much thought when into that decision. While sweet, both my aunt's two Yorkies and my parents' other two Yorkies from this fancy breeder, do very little and have had their share of health problems- one with a terrible, oily, itchy skin condition from the beginning, one with severe pancreatitis, and the other with blindness at a relatively young age. They don't play with toys, they bark at other dogs, they're just a lot less fun. These dogs did not come from JP, they came from a top $ breeder down the Eastern Shore. My JP Yorkie has been great these first two years to the extent that I've looked up the breeder's name (provided in my JP paper work) in Iowa to get her address to thank her. He has changed our lives, and I also just think that the quality pup he is made having my first puppy that much more easy and rewarding. If I can find two points of critique, it is this. I don't think my Yorkie is a pure Yorkie despite that being in both his paperwork and price tag. Though very lean, he weighs twice what JP estimated, and just a lot more than what a Yorkie generally does. I love him just the same, but where it bothers me is that a pure Yorkie from JP literally cost twice what their mixes did, so part of me wants to prove Morkie to them to get back $600. It's funny because as I stalked their website for about two months, so many of the Yorkies looked so small and almost Chihuahua-like, and then the week I got him, they had two males that looked as I remember my parents' gem looking. Well the whole not being puny and like a Chihuahua has led to an enormous Yorkie. The other thing is that yes, the employees weren't the most friendly, but they were nice enough because they knew we were serious. In their defense, there are so many people who go there with zero intention of taking home a dog and it creates a lot of work for JP. They wipe down the visiting stalls after each dog, and it really isn't a venue to go to just play with puppies, so to be frank, I hold parents and others responsible. If I worked there and had to deal with so many rowdy people who just wanted to hold something fluffy, I'd be curt too. My impression is that they generally care about the dogs they have there, and they are eager to impart their knowledge and tips to you. Thank you JP. The manager at this store is probably one of the nastiest people I have ever encountered. We have two dogs and we wanted to get a third for them. We went a first time and we were helped by someone else who was a lot friendlier but the manager was there and was just giving off really bad energy and giving us looks the entire time. They told us we had to put down a non refundable deposit the day that we went, and we were not ready to do so, so we left and came back a week later to see if the puppy we wanted was still there. They had sold the puppy we wanted so we were there to explore other options. We were greeted with very nasty manners by her as I went to ask questions about a different breed. We asked to see the dog we were wondering about and she said only if we were ready to put down an deposit today or take the puppy home today. We asked why if we could do it a week ago, why couldn't we see a different puppy today since they sold the other one? She responded rudely with that since we saw a different breed the other week, we obviously weren't serious about buying a puppy. I'll never understand why people who are so immature work in a people friendly business, because we will never revisit this business again. Humane Society here we come :). My girlfriend and I have visited this location four times in the past six weeks, very interested in purchasing one of the puppies for our family at Christmas time. We were told different information by two of the staff at different times about the length of time for having a puppy on hold before having to purchase in full and take him home. We were also told about the play time hours for the dogs. It was different depending on the day and it seemed not to matter to your staff how serious we were about purchasing the dog. It was also one of the puppies who clearly hadn't generated much interest in it being available for so long. When we questioned the staff person we were answered curtly about play time hours (12-5p - completely unreasonable on a weekday with I would gather most customers working usual business hours). We were told, "Grown-ups need a break, and so do these puppies". This sounded completely ridiculous, particularly for a dog who was a real viable purchase for us. This whole experience seemed to be about making staff's work hours easier (don't know how we were interrupting that, perhaps cell phone time?), and less about enabling very determined customers to connect with a puppy we had full intention of purchasing. As a result, we left and have no intention to buy from your shop. We will take our business elsewhere. I would recommend you tighten up the management of the store, educate the staff for consistency and keep your staff in check with how they speak to customers in a sales industry. Missed out on a possible sale and were completely rude to customers. The puppies are stuck in their dirty cages all day, you would think they would let them out to play when possible! AWFUL!!! I urge everyone not to go! this place stinks and the two oversized ladies who worked there were horribly rude and nasty to my roommate and I. We have been interested in getting a puppy for our new apartment.. and decided to go check out the golden retrievers they had at just puppies in towson. As we entered we had absolutely NO help... We were unaware that you could not touch the puppies or put your fingers in the cage and when we were doing so, one of the ladies yelled.. "no fingers in the cage, STRIKE 1!! as if she were speaking with a child. The ladies were disrespectful and not helpful in any way. The customers that were also interested in purchasing a puppy saw the way we were treated and ripped up their business card and left. This place is disgusting... crying puppies everywhere, disgusting stench that lingered on me even after I made it home. Also.. the pups are completely overpriced. Horrible, mean, and uncaring employees, miserable, unloved puppies. I couldn't have been happier to come here with my grandmother today to give some puppies some kisses and lovin', but the employees stopped the both of us from doing that and they seriously could not have been more rude about it. I encourage you to adopt one of their dogs, because they told me honestly that they don't walk them OR play with them anymore! It broke my heart. And if the puppies can't even get love, they must be miserable in there! And one of the employees said "no fingers in the cage", and my finger wasn't in there. I bought a miniature poodle from Just Puppies 5 months ago and I must say I am so in love with my baby. No health concerns or kennel cough what so ever. He is also covered under their 1 year congenital health guarantee which is super awesome! The staff was so knowledgeable and nice I felt like they cared about helping each customer. I cannot agree with the negative comments on this site. They are living creatures! They can get sick from too much exposure from people and kennel cough is cyclic. They are not baby dolls. I was a little hesitant about going to a "pet shop" to buy my puppy. Since I knew exactly the breed of dog I wanted I searched for a breeder for months and the choices I had were to ship a extremely expensive puppy across the country which I would not do, or go to one of those so called breeders which were really just puppy mills. I also found a lot of scammers trying to get me to send money for deposit on a non existent puppy. When I offered to come see the puppies and pay them in person they suddenly wouldn't take my calls. So, I nervously walked into Just Puppies expecting it to be just like other stinky dirty pet shops Ive been too. The kind of place that makes you want to cry for the poor animals. I walked in and smelled CLEAN! No doggy smell, no feces or urine smell, just clean and fresh. I was greeted and asked not to go over the white line, not to stick my fingers in the cages so I would not spread germs. I saw the puppies I had come to see from visiting the website. They looked very happy and healthy. When I asked if I could see them I was told I would have to use hand sanitizer and the room needed to be sanitized before i could go in with the puppy. The puppy I chose was a very sweet little boy although the choice was hard and took a while since all the puppies were adorable. I took him to the vet the very next day, I wanted to be sure he was as healthy as he looked. The vet was very pleased, she could find no problems, no kennel cough, not even a parasite in the stool. I am very pleased with my decision the go to Just Puppies and I will tell everyone not to believe the bad reviews on here. I don't believe the people who wrote them ever visited the store. Pet shops have a bad reputation and I understand that, and of course there are so many animals that need homes. But do mot hesitate to go to Just Puppies, it is not a regular pet shop. read more

Do not buy from them people. They are supplied by puppy mills. I bought my redbone from them years back not knowing about Puppy Mills and she had all sorts of health problems. I never contacted them because I chose to weather it out with her and to give her the life she deserves. Just do your homework on puppy stores. Buy from a reputable breeder who let's you see the mother and father and does their very best to maintain healthy animals. Total bills for her was 7K plus. Now tell me which is more cost-effective? I got my pom from Just Puppies in Towson back in March, 2012 and we love her dearly. However, I do feel that some of the staff should be a little more educated about the breeds. For instance, one of the young male staff members that helped me looked quite confused when I asked questions about her and you could tell that he was pulling the answers out of thin air. He was extremely nice but told me pom's were quiet and calm (which I knew ahead of time that they were not) but I just went along with what he was saying. The other problem I had was that they gave me the wrong papers saying she was a male (I may of gotten one of her sibilings papers) and when I called they told me to come and they would give me the right ones. I went back there and the place opened a half hour late so I had to sit and wait and was then told they didn't have the right ones and that I could just switch the check female online when registering her. That did not work, I got a call from where I tried to register her and had to fax over papers to get it all straightened out. So, we love our little nugget but hopefully the staff pulls it together. read more

I bought a chihuahua at the towson just puppies in june of 2010, when we bought her they said she has a hernia, so we got it taken care of. Her health has not really been that great since then either, she has had seizers and when she gets a distemper shot she blew up and that was soo scary, she now has to have benadril before getting her shot. Also she is barely 4 years old yet and already has grey hair and she always acts like an old dog, her doctor told us recently that she looks way older then her age, so there is probably some form of genetic issues going on too. I am not happy at all with just puppies and i dont have any proof they are apart of puppy mills but with all the bad reviews on here, makes me really feel that way now even more, i am seriously going to figure it out. We bought a Havanese puppy from Just Puppies last November. The puppy looked different from the other Havanese in the shop and different from my friend's Havanese. We questioned the staff about the different appearance (which was mostly in the shorter fur/hair). They assured us the puppy was a Havanese, not all puppies look the same, etc. etc. We were specifically looking for a Havanese because this breed does not shed. It turns out the dog has a recessive gene and is a rare short-haired Havanese which has fur and sheds. I'm convinced the staff knew the dog was a short-haired Havanese and withheld that information - not good business practice in my book. I also called them and asked to speak to the manager about it and the manager never returned my call. Think twice before dealing with Just Puppies! read more

I bought my puppy from just puppies in Aug 2015. First he was labeled wrong, a golden retriever and aussie mix. He turned out to be a pure bred lab. Except he wasn't so pure. There were multiple health problems that kepts arising. He was diagnosed with hip displasia at 6 months old. I took him on regular visits to a neurological surgeon. He had a brain and nerve neurologic condition. He lost full function of his hind legs and tail. Today I had to put my 10 month old angel to sleep. I believe just puppies and the vets they are associated with have some sort of contract that pays them to tell us our puppies are healthy until our one year contract with the company is over. Then we discover the full truth about their health. I put thousands of dollars into my angel and he couldn't make it to 1 year of age. The worst part, when I told just puppies about my pup having hip displasia they said "oh yea, we'll your breeder just breeds for sport." No comfort or apologies, just total who gives a "bull" attitude. This clearly means they are a puppy mill. Do not purchase from Just Puppies. read more

Two days ago I had to do the hardest thing I have ever done. I had to ask my vet to kill my beautiful boy. I bought Dewey from Just Puppies on 2/10/2006. I purchased him for $734.99. His papers listed the breeder as Chris Nilges, Box 135 Freeburg, MO 65035. I was instructed to take him to Owings Mills Animal and Bird Hospital, vet Ernest A. Slovon to ensure my "health guarantee". First let me say he was the worst vet I have ever encountered. Rough and cold with animals, not only Dewey but my rabbit who was dying at age ten. Anyway what started as a vet visit turned into a deluge of issues with Dewey. I suspected he was a puppy mill survivor and researched Chris Nilges. My suspicions were correct. I had Dewey for 10 years 8 months. During that time I spent $6,491.86 in vet bills for Dewey. Those are the receipts I have in my folder, there may have been more that were lost. This total does not include the countless dollars I spent on hypoallergenic foods, over the counter shampoos for his many skin conditions, training and various medications etc.. It also does not include my final bill from the vet and the crematory. I begrudge not a penny and I would do it over again in a heartbeat because I loved my boy so much. The point I am getting to is that when you purchase a dog from a shop that sells puppy mill puppies be prepared for the financial and emotional toll it takes. If your beloved pet has more serious physical or skeletal issues be prepared to pay even more. Nothing will bring my Dewey back but if I can save someone from this pain it will help. read more

I am writing today to complain of the poor service I received from your Towson location on March 18, 2017. I have purchased three puppies from Just Puppies in the past few years, so far the services have been impeccable, but recently I encountered some really poor customer service. The puppies I purchased (2 for myself and 1 for my sister) were all in good health and remain as members of our family. I was appalled by a recent encounter with one of your employees - someone whom I hope is not representative of your company as a whole. When you hear what transpired, I am sure you will agree. I was mortified, and I am embarrassed to say that I was so dumbfounded by the employees rude and disrespectful behavior. I find it hard to believe that you would knowingly employ such an abrasive and unprofessional clerk. I plan to follow up this email with a formal complaint. I have read many reviews (google and yelp) and am dismayed to find out that this is not an isolated incident. I walked into your Towson Location today with my sister looking to buy a puppy. We expected so much more after viewing this website. We were greeted by an employee saying, "do not cross the black line or put your fingers in the cage, there are only two dogs left.". (There were no other customers in the store and we are grown adults, we entered the store quietly and respectfully). We stood in front of the cages for 30 minutes admiring a few puppies, and we were never assisted, asked what we were looking for, or spoken to. Three staff members stood in the front of the store and spoke to each other in a circle (very cliquey). After realizing we were not going to get spoken to, we decided to leave. We were the only two costumers in the store the whole entire time. I have never had such a lack of customer service and disrespect. We were completely ignored and felt invisible. We continued to Charm city puppies and had a completely different experience. I'll never be visiting this location or any of these branches again, I am so disappointed.... read more

I purchased my puppy from Just Puppies on Sept 8, 2012 and at 3am this morning I had to lay him to rest due to an enlarged heart. My dog started out wtih kennel cough and never got better (altho he had taken ill 2 days after I had him). I had taken him to the vet many times over and not one ever thought it was his heart. He was on anitbiotics, steriods, and albuterol and all along it was is heart and not his lungs. I was NOT informed of the puppy mill issue when I fist got my dog. Shortly after I purchased it a co-worker informed me (she purchased her dog there). STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!! There vet they want you to take your dog to is not open 24 hours and I was not going to wait to provide treatment to my dog when THEY are unavailable. The vet they suggest has a negative reputation, so taking my dog there at that point was mute. I did what i had to do to take care of my sick baby until the very end. I will ensure everyone knows about Just Puppies, their awful contract and treatment of animals, and to STAY AWAY!! By the way, my co-workers dog got sick immediately after purchasing too. read more
