The avocado and chipotle aïoli sent the sandwich through the roof. I would also suggest getting the breakfast burrito. Fresh ingredients, flavorful, and filling. The barista, Waajid, makes a wonderful Matcha latte--balanced, not too sweet, strong, and will have you wanting to order another one. His skills at making espresso drinks are second to none. Finally, a salad shop opens up in Park Slope. So I decided it was a must to give Just Salad a try. Not disappointed a bit! Fantastic salads! I've already been there twice and can see this becoming a regular habit. The buffalo chicken salad is amazing with its tangy combination of flavors. I can't wait to try them all! And as if the salad wasn't enough of a reason to keep me coming back, the service is friendly and welcoming. The only downfall to this place right now is the non-stop lines that are almost always present. I suppose that this should be expected on its first week open and due to the fact that it is AWESOME! I work around and order my lunch from Just salad one or two times a week. Despite many bad reviews, i am happy with the service and the food. So far I have tried several salads and wraps and they always are fresh and tasty. I did some substitutions too and it always came our fine. I usually order a delivery - it was never late and delivery guys are always friendly. I also ordered smoothies - they are delicious. I see that many people complain about the prices - but the neighborhood is pricey in general so it is within what you would have expected to pay in Park Slope for a lunch. So 5 stars guys. This was my first time coming here a few days ago. It's small and comfortable. The staff all said hello when I walked in which was nice because they actually acknowledge their customers. I ordered a smoothie and a steak salad for about $13 and I think it was worth it. Pretty good for a lunch option. I have to point out the girl who made my smoothie. I took a while to decide which one I wanted. Ashley said "try the avocado smoothie it's the best one we have" and she wasn't lying, it was great. She was so attentive it made my day. Shout out to Stanley and Shelly. Shelly is the manager and has done a great job at turning this store into a positive experience. Stanley? Well there is one word. WOW. i order from this place all the time, until i visited in person. The staff is obnoxious and loud. Its seems like the management is intimidated by their employees and nothing ever runs smoothly. i spoke to one of the employees about how unsanitary the whole place is, and he replied "You think this is bad? you should go see what happens in the basement" He also told me that some of the workers downstairs walk around barefoot with no hair nets or gloves. Someone needs this place shut down ASAP, i don't understand how they pass their inspections. read more

I like the variety of the ingridients I can add to the basic greens and, by that, create my own unique dish that I am really enjoying (as apposed to the tasteless boring standard grilled chicken salads at some other restaurants). Traveling from Florida. Stumbled upon this place in park slope for lunch. Wonderful selection of salads, wraps and smoothies. Upon paying for lunch I was Not aware they weren't accepting any cash and that is all I had. You could either create your own bowl, or order something ready. I was being lazy after a whole day of work and just got the roasted turkey with Brussels sprouts. What I liked the most was their spicy sauce and the amount added could be customized as well. Not only were the falafel burnt, there was no tahini sauce. I am glad I also got a chicken shawarma bowl with lots of hummus because those falafels were dry! The rest of the food was good. I really liked the couscos and the marinated beets. I was just upset I paid $5 for 8 small balls of burnt and dry falafel with no sauce. Make sure you check your order before you leave the store.
