Good temperatures, excellent flavors, and good size portions. They have 4 different sauces at the tables, and there are even more at their sauce bar. My food was awesome! The pork belly had nice slick slices, good ribbons of fat, and melt in your mouth tender. The mashed potatoes were sweet, and creamy, with a little chunkiness. Bun was toasted nicely, but a grilled option would make it even better. Tried most of the sauces, and found a couple that I really liked, the Gold Tang and Alabama White. My wife's experience was not as good mine was. Her's was the chopped brisket. Some of the meat was excellent, but there was enough dry pieces that you really needed to have sauce. A bit disappointing. The potato salad was very good. Very fresh, with good picklet flavor. Service: The folks that took care of us were all super friendly and helpful. Got some needed help with ordering, and advice on the sauces to try. Even stopped by during the meal to check on us. Atmosphere: The place is small, but they have comfortable seating for different size groups. It' has a casual barbecue feel to it. There were several other small groups there, and the noise level was good, easy to have comfortable conversations. The selection of sauces on the table, and the sauce bar are easy to figure out and use. Might be helpful to have small plastic cups by the bar for self service. Enjoyed most of the meal. Not sure if it was an off-day for the chopped brisket. I would definitely stop again and get the same meal. Lots to like about this place.

I chose the tri-tip and pulled pork, greens and potato salad. Also the banana pudding! None of this disappointed in any way. stud Tri-tip was smokey and moist, the pulled pork just right, very little sauce needed. I tried some out of curiosity and was pleasantly surprised how well it complimented the meat. The sides were fresh and seasoned quite well. Lastly, the banana pudding was delicious. Nothing about this meal disappointed. If you like brisket, go with the tri-tip! Easy transition and it is the best of both worlds for brisket (mostly lean with some marbling). Definitely will be coming back to try everything else on the menu! This is a must if you like good BBQ!

I followed my rule that if you smell smoke when you walk in, I'm getting the full slab even though it's wrapped in foil and I couldn't see them. The full slab was very reasonable at $16.95 by the way. At first unwrapping I'm like dam nice bark and look how meaty the rack is, I hate that some places give you thin and bone racks so thank you for a nice rack. After heating up a third of the rack the bark came to life and was tasty, thick and sticky. The ribs were very meaty/tasty with that nice pink smoke ring but not very Smokey. The rib meat was moist and pulled clean off the bone. While there I bought a package of jalapeño meat sticks and a Czech beer from 1842, Pilsner Uequell imported it says. For a liquor store doing Bbq I'm giving them 4 stars because the ribs were good and they use meaty racks and at $16.95 for a full rack it's a good value. I would definitely get these take and bake Bbq ribs again and try other Bbq items from here.
