I had an appointment at 6. Drove two hours to get there. They DONT HAVE CONVENTIONAL even though they advertise it in their website. Then claimed they couldn't do my oil change at 6pm (my appointment time) and they close at 7pm. He claimed the guy working was already in a bad mood for having to work late. As a customer I was fine paying for higher than conventional but to not do my oil change because you have staff issues or staff that doesn't want to work is unacceptable. I would not recommend. You are going to go in expecting one thing and you'll get bamboozled ending up wasting your time and spending more money. I ended up going to MR TIRE IN APEX. They took me in short notice. GO THERE. They perform basic services well however their customer service strategy is strange. They have one associate who has on several occasions asked me about my religion and busted out a Bible to read me quotes. He has even gone as far as both printing me out bible quotes and handing them to me with my receipt and putting bible quotes in my emailed receipt. While I don't fault anyone their beliefs I don't think being preached to is something that should come with a new tire. This associate makes me very uncomfortable and while this location is convenient for me I will no longer visit them as this has happened several times. read more

Do NOT take your vehicle to this place. This place damaged my wheel and my tire and denied any wrongdoing and I had to pay for it out of my own pocket. I also had to pay to have it towed back there. Best customer service! I had just left a competitor store less than 2 miles away (MR TIRE) where the manager asked me to "come back tomorrow" since they were closing in about 1.5 hours and did not have time before closing to provide a quote on new tires for my vehicle? Then went to JUST TIRES and in less than 30 minutes I had arranged to have my tires installed! Jacob was most helpful and pleasant... one of the best experiences I have ever had at a service center. Well they did the oil change and tire rotation with out issue. The counter agent wasn't rude but he wasn't very personable. They did not reset my oil change light, which isn't a huge deal but shows that they're either not very thorough or didn't know how. I don't know what's worse. The reason I'll never come back is that they're anti gun or at least anti concealed carry. They have a big sticker in their window stating that they don't allow concealed carry of firearms in their store. I don't know what they think that's going to save them from except excluding some people from doing business with them. If I conceal carry what can I do? I'm not going to leave the gun in the car that they have full access to but I can't take it inside their store. My only option if I didn't know ahead of time would be to find another shop without this exclusion. read more

Awful service. They were very rude and condescending when I brought in two trailer tires with slow leaks. They tried to tell me first that they "aren't allowed to repair trailer tires" and that I would need to buy new ones instead, which is crap, and when I pushed, they tried to charge me double what it should cost to patch a tire with a small nail in it. Do not go to this place for anything. My wife told me this but I did not listen. First thing that happened is one of the mechanics told me that I had a nail in one of my tires but I was in a hurry so could not change it so I waited but they did a wheel alignment that day because that was what my appointment was for. So I go back there a month later because I got a coupon for a oil change. They do a free tire rotation with the oil change and tell me I need a wheel alignment huh? I was like what and they brushed it off as a computer cliched. Wait the computer is not suppose to tell you if a wheel alignment is needed. So I go to discount tires to get 2 new tires because one of the tire threads was really bad. So the mechanic there asks me where my wheel lock. I told the guy in glove box but it was not there. I call Just Tires and they tell me I must have lost them huh? The guy was very rude when I asked to talk to a manager too. He didn't care I was a unhappy customer. The last thing is discount tires told me there was no nail in the tire that Just Tires told me there was. **UPDATE** I returned to Just Tires of Apex now for the 3rd time, and overall I have had good service. Until I returned to pick up my Silverado this evening. I had instructed the Just Tires employee to lock my keys in my truck when it was done in the parking lot and I would return this evening and open it with my extra key. All went as planned, except when I returned in the pouring rain they did lock the key in my truck, but the drivers window was left down about 2-3 inches!!! My door and seat were soaked plus, my truck has 1000s of dollars in audio equipment installed in it, and they keys were in it, so it could have easily been stolen. Original: Reading previous reviews I would say the service at Just Tires of Apex has turned around for the better. They happily mounted my 33x12.5x20 tires on my brand new rims today. Dan, I pulled into Just Tires with my car smoking from the hood. Dan and his crew dropped everything to assess the situation. I was really impressed with the service and the way it was handled. Dan called for the part and his guy rushed it over and had me up in running in the same day. I added a fluid flush and oil change on top of the hose replacement. I was able to get out of the place by 7... 90 minutes for an oil change SO SO SO VERY WRONG!!!! Wish I would have looked at the reviews before bringing my car here to these unprofessional individuals! Came here on a Friday evening after working all day. Wasn't treated with good customer service but I figured, It's Friday evening, I'm sure everyone is tired. One week later, I took my car to TWO different shops to have work done and both shops remarked that the oil was so dirty there was no way it could've been changed. When I called back to speak to the manager, Dan, he didn't even attempt to make it right. He insisted out the gate, even guaranteed that there was no way I could've been charged without it being changed. Please note he wasn't even present when the oil change was completed. (When the cat's away....) How can you guarantee something if you weren't even present to witness it?! He never said, "That is highly atypical of the service we strive to provide." He said there was no remote way it was possible! Seriously?! Not only did he not take ownership, he didn't attempt to atone for the wrongdoing whether perceived or actual. At the end after practically calling me a liar, he offered to take a look at it. At this point, I don't even want to deal with his nastiness especially when I don't have to. I ended the called by stating that I wouldn't patronize the shop going forward and he acted as if he could care less. This my friends is a -1 on the customer service scale. I have worked and managed in the customer service industry (for big corporations and "mom and pop" companies) for over 15 years and I don't know a district manager or owner that would find this to be an acceptable customer service interaction. Bought two new tires for car. 6 months later my wife goes to get a flat fixed and they tell her she needs 4 new tires and she buys them. Fast forward 1 year. Wife goes to get another flat fixed and they say she needs 100,000 mile spark plug change. They charge her 36.00 per spark plug without offering any other options. I experienced great service at Just Tires today! Ask for Dan, the store manager. He was friendly, honest and professional. I came in because I had a nail in one of my tires. Turns out, I was driving on 4 tires with dangerously low tread. I have an all-wheel Drive vehicle, and Dan advised me it is not recommended you change just one tire when you have AWD; it's recommended you replace all 4, which of course was terrible news to my ears. He said he would find out if I could get away with just replacing 2 tires without messing up the transmission, and I was very grateful for him trying to find a solution to help me save some money. However, after he showed me just how dangerously low the tread was on all my tires, I decided to have all 4 tires replaced. I was not pressured in any way and Dan seemed genuinely concerned about my safety. He said those tires probably wouldn't have lasted another month (scary), so I guess the nail in the tire was actually a blessing in disguise. Anyway, I highly recommend this business and would use them again. Just ask for Dan!! P.S. I hadn't eaten all day and Dan gave me a pack of Belvita Breakast Biscuits from his stash to hold me over. I was taken advantage of at this establishment. I'm a M.S. patient from out of town and I had problems with my tires during my commute to Wake County. I stopped by Just Tires and they told me that there was a problem with my tire sensor. I was also told that my tire sensor light would go off after 10 minutes of them installing a new one. During my hour and a half commute home, the tire sensor light never went off after they installed a new one. It is still on today. I stopped by a Toyota dealership near me, and they told me that I was taken advantage of by Just Tires. I tried to call back and get a refund, but to no avail. My daughter took her car here since we already had goodyear tires on it and the rotation and balance was free. They tried to tell her that her tires were so dangerous that they would not rotate them and that she needed an alignment. We had just had an alignment at the dealer a few months prior. I told her to just leave and come home and I'd look at it. I then took it to my usual place (Discount Tire) and they said they are still good (but could be replaced soon) and that there was no sign of uneven wear, but rather wear indicative of low tire pressure. Ultimately, they either do not know how to determine if a car needs an alignment or were trying to take advantage of someone new to driving. Hard to trust them either way. read more

Stay away from this place. My husband went in because we had a leak in one of our tires and ended up with 2 new tires and a wheel alinement that we most likely didn't need. They also charged for balancing the tires, which most places do for free when you buy new tires. The total damage was $550. I wish that we had read the reviews before we came. I find it amazing that I always have screws in my wheels. How is this possible. So the last time I bought tires I bought the warranty. That was like garlic for vampires. No more screws. This time I went in for an oil change. They found that my tire was scraped and showing threads. I swear it looked like a knife was taken to it. Of course the warranty that has 4 months left on it did not cover this. So barring any paranoia, the service still was absolutely awful. I walked in for my 6pm appointment to get my oil changed (on time). The manager was on the phone when I arrived -- fine. No eye contact or acknowledgement that a customer had arrived. He gets off the phone and procedes to finish paper work -- without acknowledging me first. So I say "I have a 6pm oil change appointment". "Ok, hold on." He continues to do the paperwork and THEN takes a personal phone call. What gives? He finally gets to me. I say how long will the oil change take? he says 45 minutes. Which I think is long but I say ok. I come back in 45 minutes and still have to wait 25 minutes for him to come get me and show me the treads. I was annoyed that the warranty didn't cover the cost and not even a discount on the brand new tire was offered. I didn't buy the tiger. They just lost a good customer. I just had my first experience with the Apex location and I am completely happy and satisfied with My purchase. I did a lot of research and price shopping before I made my choice. I went online and selected my tires and made an appointment online. When I got there the tire I picked out was not in stock. I was not happy about this but they wanted to correct this. They offered to drive to the next town over to get the tires I wanted. Then they offered to upgrade me to a better tire for the same price. These tires are so awesome. And they came with a 70,000 mile warranty. The other ones were 20,000 less. I highly recommend this place!!!! read more

NEVER going here again! I went in for an oil change and tire rotation. It was a great price and the service for that was fine. The 2 star rating is only because of that. But the overall experience, 0 stars: As I checked in, the guy asked me which engine I had with a backhanded, "You probably don't know which engine you have." Stopped just shy of calling me "little lady." And yes, as a matter of fact I DO know what engine I have. Sitting in the dirty waiting room, I had the pleasure of seeing no less than a dozen dead tiny caterpillars plus one still crawling across the floor! I had heard the guy try to upsell the customer ahead of me, so I was not surprised when he did the same with me. In the hour I was there, he came to the waiting room twice to try and sell me brake fluid service, fuel system cleaning, power steering fluid service, and an alignment. Today (5/6/2017) went for oil change making appointment online; the manager (Dan Haner) asked me to do Synthetic Oil change; otherwise I have to go other place. This is NOT required for Dodge 2002 Caravan. He said I have to, I said no, this is not mandatory for Synthetic OIL CHANGE. I am going to this store over 5 years. He could recommend, but he tried to force to accept what he told to me. I had an argument with him then he told me this is my last time for regular oil change and I also had to sign the paper what he said before oil change. I have been going to Dan at Just Tires Apex ever since 2007 when they were recommended for an alignment with one of my cars. When I got a new Prius in 2010 the first chance I got to get quieter, longer lasting, better rated tires I took it. Factory tires lasted less than 40,000 miles. When I have taken the cars for regular maintenance they read codes and if the work is beyond their scope they direct me to other shops qualified to do the work. Had a blowout in Pittsboro and called AAA. After tire was changed, I asked what store would be open at that time which was 6 pm. Just Tires was recommended so I schlepped there on a donut spare. I was greeted at 6:15 pm by two smiling and courteous people. Nice! Smiles matter these days as there is so much customer DISservice. I selected very good tires and walked to a local restaurant while the tires were prepared and mounted. I returned at 7:45 and they were almost finished!! They did an alignment, showed me the results, and suggested an alignment be done and I agreed. The work was finished (including paperwork and saying "goodnight") and I was on the road st 8:02 pm. I cannot recommend their service. I have had some good experiences there and many of their people are friendly and courteous. However every time they have done work for me there was a problem with the service usually resulting multiple return trips. They have damaged my car 3 times. The last time work was done the technician stripped a lug nut and did not bother to tell me. (I found out weeks later from a very trusted mechanic when having unrelated work done.) I've purchased tires here previously and have had good service. Today, after making an appointment for an oil change with an estimate of $24.50 my son took the higher mileage vehicle in. Before they put it on the lift, they told my son because of the mileage it would cost more- $40. Because he needed the vehicle the next day, he got it done. I called the shop and was told "Because of the mileage, Goodyear won't allow us...semi-synthetic oil, etc. etc." The manager even stated, "The work hadn't been started yet", that is true, the car wasn't on the lift. Still, I'm calling BS on the situation. I feel I got sucked in (for $25), and when he got there at 3PM, they held him over a barrel ($40). Went there to get a tire repaired or replace. Got there and had a service order created. Waited 30 minutes for them to tell me that they couldn't fix the tire, and it would take 45 minutes to get the tires to the store. They only had 2-3 other customers, they didn't look at the car until they got it to a dolly. They also didn't ask me any other questions, just a service request created and have a seat. I tried this store due to it's location, but I know better now. I replace 4 sets of race tires on a yearly basis. Had I got better service, they would have gotten this business as well. I don't normally leave reviews but I feel this strong about how people need to avoid this place. I dropped my car off at 1:30 to look at a tire that had been loosing pressure. I was told that they would give me a call between 3-4pm to come pick it up. After around 4:15 I called them because I was getting concerned that they close at 5pm and I didn't receive a call. They said they would call me in 15 min to tell me if they would be able to get my car in today! I was astonished. They ended up calling me at 4:45 to tell me "sorry we can't get to it today". I mean, how do you keep my car for that long, don't call and then don't even get to it. I confronted the person at the front desk and he just shake his head and said "well, I said I would TRY to get it in today". He flat out lied to me!
