In January 2026, I visited for brake pad and rotor replacement on my Acura, followed by a tire rotation. During the service, the technicians were unable to remove a stuck lug nut due to not having the proper tool. They attempted to remove it manually, which resulted in damage, and I was subsequently charged approximately $90 for a replacement. This issue could have been avoided with appropriate equipment and procedures. After the tire rotation, I began experiencing noticeable vibration at speeds above 60 mph. When I returned, I was advised to have the tires balanced. Shortly afterward, I also observed a wheel alignment issue. I scheduled an alignment appointment for February, but upon arrival, I was informed that the alignment machine was not operational. No prior communication was provided via call or text. The front desk staff asked rescheduled for the following week and indicated that the alignment would be provided at no cost or at a reduced rate as a courtesy. The following week's appointment was also canceled due to the machine still being out of service. When I was finally able to schedule an appointment in March, the store manager stated that the alignment could not be offered for free. After speaking with another staff member, he agreed to a 50% discount. However, even with the discount, the quoted price was $130 for a four‑wheel alignment, based on an alleged original price of $260--significantly higher than comparable services in the area. Additionally, after an earlier oil service performed by this center, I discovered that one of the fluid caps had not been properly closed. The cap was left loose on the hood area, and I had to secure it myself. Overall, my experience was marked by poor communication, inadequate post‑service inspection, and pricing practices that felt misleading. I had to return multiple times to address issues that should have been identified and resolved during the initial service. I ultimately had my alignment completed at reputed Tire & brake shop for $95, where the service and communication were far superior. Based on these experiences, I do not recommend this shop for any automotive service.

I took it back today for the same inspection checks (just a differently worded for safety versus maintenance with a requirement for ASE ID), and it was $50. When I asked the employee about it he said the price is June 17th is not the price they charge today. So depending on who is working there that day it may be a different price just seems shady to me

I appreciated the provision of a nice loaner car, with no hassle getting it. I booked my appointment the day before and drove in early next morning, cautiously, with an engine overheat warning "pull over in safe place" flashing on my dash. They knew this. I arrived opening time 8am. No one contacted me the entire day(!) with a diagnosis/ cost estimate or update of any kind; I was not aware my car would be kept overnight. At 4:50pm, ten minutes before close, I telephoned and was told $2,400(!), it might take 3 days/ 2 nights in the shop. I asked for a detailed estimate and for the second time, gave my email. Still, an estimate was not sent.... That cost estimate was high compared to other mechanics. Standard customer service for an early morning "drop-off" (advance appt.): contact customer by 3pm that day, explain repair, provide a cost estimate for approval. Start work right away, priority to finish if a second day. That did not happen. Nobody seemed to care if it did. For a $200 repair, no big deal- but for $2,000/ 3 days in the shop, IT MATTERS. PRO A loaner car while being repaired repaired with OEM car parts skilled diagnosis of Toyota 24month/ 24,000 mile parts warranty CON left me hanging on diagnosis, repair cost no written description/estimate provided high price compared to competition (corrected at the end) no apology for dropping the ball on service In the end, the actual charge was $1,821.97 which was in line with local estimates, considering the use of OEM parts. I appreciated that adjustment. And it appears they did quality work. Time will tell. Will I go back? Probably not. Lacked valuing me as a high-dollar customer; too much time and drama.

Daily driver only -- no towing, no off-road use. Transmission Build: M3960 / MF S1 BM 3960, installed November 2021. November 2024 -- Transmission failure at 62,500 miles on that build. Repair cost: $12,000+. Upon pickup, the front bumper was found to be improperly secured and required a return visit to correct. December 2024 -- Vehicle returned after a transmission "Refresh" ($8,088). Within 2 miles of leaving the shop, the transmission was not shifting correctly. The truck was returned immediately. January 2025 -- Vehicle returned to me in drivable condition. This is the in-service date for the refreshed transmission. January 2026 -- Exactly 12 months from the in-service date, the transmission again stopped shifting properly under identical usage conditions. The shop declined to repair the unit under any warranty or goodwill provision. For context, two prior issues were resolved without escalation: -- A passenger side mirror was damaged during a replacement service. The parts supplier where I purchased the mirrors honored their warranty and I completed the reinstallation myself. -- A TPMS sensor was improperly installed with a new set of 4 tires purchase. Discount Tire diagnosed and corrected the issue at my expense. I did not raise either of those issues with the shop at the time. Given my history as a customer since 2018 and the total financial investment involved, you would think this place would be responsive. Avoid this place, integrity does exist here.

It's intimidating and immediately your stress levels go crazy. This is not my area of expertise but CDT Automotive changes all of that with how they treat you and communicate with you. They truly are the masters at giving great customer service. Details: They have a modern and super clean shop with a waiting area that is comfortable and CLEAN with a TV and good magazines. I was given a tour of the garage area and it's immaculate. All of the staff are super friendly and knowledgeable. I had my brakes and rotors replaced and while I waited in the lobby was given all of the details, delivering on expectations from the start. I knew about how long it would take, next steps along the way, cost breakdown and AJ, the service manager, made me feel catered to. He even had lunch brought in while I waited. Above and beyond expectations on customer service. They wash your vehicle and place a snack and bottle of water with a coupon in your vehicle upon leaving. Amazing! Second visit: Had them complete my vehicle's routine maintenance and again, Bobby, AJ and staff were all there to greet me and again, exceeded my expectations. Due to the work I needed done I was going to be there for an extended amount of time. AJ hooked me up with a driver to drop me off and pick me up for lunch. Both of the guys driving me to and from were friendly and they both talked about how much they love working there. The entire vibe of the place is that the people there love the work they do and working there and it delivers in how they treat their customers. Compared to taking my vehicle to the dealership, cost is much better and overall customer service just beats anyone out there. They do great work, they meet and exceed expectations and ladies you can actually RELAX knowing you are in good hands, won't get talked down to, your questions will get answered honestly and with CARE. His defense was that I must not have cared since I left the vehicle there, and when I was trying to explain that my husband was unable to come during business hours, that he works during that time...and that I also work out of town and this is my first time home in almost a month, he kept cutting me off and started yelling at me. He also lied and gaslighted me when I said I had called and couldn't even leave a voicemail because their phone says voicemail is full. He said he wasn't able to get after market parts, except that also is a lie because I have it at another shop and they are able to get every single piece it needs from Auto Parts outlet in Raleigh, for just under 1500. He told me it would be over 8K to fix it because "all the parts had to be ordered new". Unprofessional, overly aggressive, misogynistic scam artist. Expensive - but I trusted them to do the correct work. Took it in on Friday the 31st and they completed the work that day. Picked it up at closing - Micah was still in the shop and no one was in the office. When I got home, I discovered the windshield was cracked and needed replacement. Micah denied responsibility and refused to pay for the repair - even though the the damage was done while J&J had the car. Amazing people but not good business. This shop does not accept any payment from insurance or…read morewarranty companies. THEY DO NOT! They hold that right as business owners, which I understand completely. One of their staff members was not aware of this and it was not until after a $120 diagnostic that I was notified they don't accept payments from insurance/warranty companies. I explained to the owner that I had multiple phone calls with this staff member about using my warranty company as payment. Staff is not educated on the shops policy and client is bitting the bullet! No refund.
