Robert was incredibly kind he even drove me to the nearby Amtrak station so I could get back to Santa Barbara as my car needed servicing. I had a very disturbing experience at Just Tires in Thousand Oaks, Ca. and want to warn others. I went there to replace a flat tire on my SUV. One of the employees, Pedro, was helping with the tire. While working on the car, he found a flashlight in the back of my vehicle and asked if it was mine. I explained that it belonged to the towing driver from Roy's Towing, who had helped me earlier and had accidentally left it there. Pedro handed the flashlight to me, and I placed it back in the trunk while he was present. When the tire replacement was finished, I went inside to pay. Pedro was the last person around my vehicle and the last person who saw me close the trunk. On my way home I realized I should return the flashlight to the towing company. When I opened the trunk, the flashlight was gone. I searched everywhere and it had disappeared. I called the store and reported what happened. Pedro denied taking it but said he would "buy me a new one." That response was very concerning to me. I told him that the issue was not the value of the flashlight, but the dishonesty and the fact that a customer cannot feel safe leaving their vehicle with someone like that. The manager I spoke with initially tried to defend the employee and said he couldn't believe it. The following day I returned to the store and asked another manager to review the security camera footage so the situation could be verified and the flashlight returned to its rightful owner. This experience left me feeling very uncomfortable. Customers should be able to trust the people working on their vehicles. Based on this experience, I would advise others to be very careful when bringing their car here. read more

I got two new tires installed on Saturday Feb 14 and just drove the car home and didn't take it out till Feb 18. While driving in the freeway the brand new tire blew out on an overpass, brought the tire back and they told me it looked like it was flat and I drove on it but the marks that were on it were from me driving on it blown up trying to get to the side/ off the freeway. They do not want to replace the tire even after the fact that they just installed it and they say it has nothing to do with them. They have no time in honoring the tire and have no value. Would never recommend you go here because if anything happens to your tires the first time you drive on them, they will tune you away and say you need to buy a new tire. I had a nail in my tire they were the only place open. They told me it would take 2+ hours to repair, didn't have much choice so I waited. after 2 hours watching the guys who worked there work at a snails pace, when they were actually working, after they finally got to my tire they told they could not repair it because it was an EV tire. They put it back on and it was not even inflated to the correct pressure. They did not have a replacement to sell me either. I called the dealer and they told me it was BS about not being able to patch the tire. I took it to a tire store recommended by the dealer and it was fixed in 10 minutes. The tire is still fine. Good for Tires but not auto repairs. I experienced poor workmanship on my truck brake job. Resulted in soaked rear parking brake shoes, damaged axle bearings and damage to new rotors 100 miles after work. After inspection I had to have vehicle towed from their shop to another shop for proper repair because I had ZERO CONFIDENCE in them. Request for refund of over $1,000 has been ignored. I went in for an oil change because I saw a sign out front for a $65 oil change. It was my first time there and the gentlemen out front were very professional and kind. I had mentioned that I kept hearing something coming from my brakes and they said that they would check it out and do a full car inspection. After sitting in the waiting area for ten minutes, the younger man at the front said he wanted to show me my brake pads he pointed out how they were almost completely gone and showed them to me which I really appreciate him taking the time and showing his concern. Within 30min I had my oil changed and brakes done and don't hear that sound I used to hear anymore. Has always been great place, but last time wait was very long, several hours, so I left. I had to reschedule. and I was charged for 4 tire pressures sensors despite being told only 2 were bad. They said my car otherwise would not reset. I'm not sure if this was a rip off or not. But seemed suspicious. I've had mechanics try to and rip me off so many times, as a woman. I don't trust any places anymore. Also warning light was off that day but came back on a day later, so I had to go back. They claimed air was off and therefore the car was at fault. Why not check and maker sure the air was even when I left the first time? So more of my tiwasted. I've always loved this place, all the young cute guys are adorable and super polite and hard working, but this last experience, The long wait times, hours upon hours Having all 4 tire sensors replaced for 2 being broken? Avoid this business! I bought 4 tires online that were shipped to their store for installation from Amazon. I also set an appointment online when I made my purchase for the installation. Once I was notified that the tires had arrived via UPS, I called the store to confirm the tires where delivered and my appointment date and time. The person taking the call told me there was no way for him to confirm the tires had arrived nor was there a way to confirm my appointment. HE WAS EXTREMELY RUDE and CONDESCENDING! I then asked how then could they locate my tires when I arrive to have them installed? He replied by saying, "I told you we have no way of finding the tires and many times. we can't ever find them." Incredulous as I was, I still went to the store at my schedule appointment time hoping for the best. Upon arrivAl they had no record on my transaction. So I provided my receipts from my prepaid installation package as proof of purchase. The guy behind the counter then said he would look for my tires. A few minutes later he told me he could only find 2 of the 4 tires. I then showed him proof of delivery on all 4 tires from UPS and asked him to look again. A few minutes Later he came back and said he found them. In retrospect I wish he hadn't. After the tires where installed, all appeared fine until I got home. My dashboard lit up with warnings that my tire pressure system was not working! This confirmed the Just Tires operation was incompetent. So I went to another tire store that I knew and trusted and learned that 2 of the 4 tire pressure sensors were malfunctioning. This was not surprising because I recalled that the installer at Just Tires had reported to the counter guy that they just ran out of tire pressure monitors in the middle of my installation! So instead I had to have 2 tires removed reinstalled to have new sensors installed. That costs me $140 at the other reputable tire store which fixed the problem. Appointment scheduled to install nearly $2k worth of tires, bought and paid for from Goodyear directly. Called to see if it was possible to get installed sooner. Said they would check if in stock and call me. No call so kept my appointment for 4 days later. Show up and was met with rudeness from the opening introduction. Was met with "why are your tires here" really?!? I showed my appointment confirmation and paid invoice including alignment. Was told "alignment machines broken" not sure when it will fixed. Ok then just refund the alignment. Nope- can't do, you will have to find another JustTires with a working machine or contact Goodyear. So then the guy disappears to "find out why my tires are there" despite showing my confirmation. Waiting 10 minutes and see "kids" playing in the work bay.....bad vibes and just don't need hassles of kids playing on my truck, in what appeared to be an OSHA situation waiting to happen. I had to visit Just Tires because one of my tires kept leaking out air. As it turned out, I had a nail in one of them. I had previously purchased my tires from this location in 2022. I interacted with Rob Young, who really impressed me. I really believe he took my best interest into consideration. I asked how much it would be to replace all my tires and he gave me a quote. I also asked him about the overall condition of my tires. He was honest in his assessment with me on if I needed new tires. He said that he believed I could get another 50,000 miles out of them, based on how they looked, and that he could patch the tire that had a hole in it. In addition, he rotated my tires. We as customers often dread going to a place for car maintenance, as it can be hard to tell if the sales person is being honest with you. Rob Young was professional, honest, and fair. He carried himself well, and was able to juggle several customers at the same time with ease. My experience was smooth today and I would definitely come back again for future services. I have been getting my tires here- and so have my grown kids- for more than a decade (maybe close to 14 years?), and I have no intention of going elsewhere for as long as I live in Ventura County. Not because the prices are competitive (though they are, and they send out coupons!); and not because the storefront is in great shape (It isn't: the manager -or- corporate need to properly install the AC that's tucked into the wall with cardboard and fix the ceiling). The draw? I have been coming here faithfully, and have successfully persuaded all the adults in my family and other people as well to make this their go-to tire store for one reason and one reason alone: Mr. Rob Young. Up at that front counter no matter what time of whatever day or night I have ever needed a tire, Rob is the hardest-working man in Thousand Oaks. He never seems to have a day off, but every single time I have ever interacted with him, he has been the epitome of professionalism, kindness, empathy, helpfulness and low-pressure information-provider. The first time, I ever got a tire there, I had a flat on the way to the ER with my kindergartner who had a high fever. When I tell you that I could not handle one more thing being wrong that night! Mr. Young made sure we got back on the road to the ER as soon and as safely as possible, at a price my single-mom budget could absorb. He is respectful and kind to everyone who walks in, of any age, gender or race. He is patient, explains everything thoroughly and in a polite, non-condescending tone (ladies, you know what I mean if you have been to enough tire or car repair places). He makes eye contact. He asks about your day - like he means it. I have never received better customer service ANYWHERE. The man is CONSISTENTLY EXCELLENT at his job. Three months ago I sent in a review of the poor service by the staff and lying by the local manager. After my lengthy review we received, for all to see from the corporate office a response stating they apologize for the service etc... and asked us to call to discuss how they could make it up. We called 4xs and not one person called us back. It is apparent that the corporate office initial response to our complaint was all for show. We are dissatisfied and disappointed how a company can mislead and still be in business in Thousand Oaks. The local staff, manager and corporate office should be ashamed. My son had his front struts replaced at this location on December 28th. After picking up his vehicle, he immediately noticed that he was still feeling and hearing the same noise. He called them back and spoke to Robert and told him what was happening. My son ask if they did a test drive and he told him no, because they were closing. Robert told my son that the struts needed to settle and you can bring it back in about 2 weeks. My son had told him that he was moving from Thousand Oaks back to San Diego the next day. He told my son that it would still be safe to drive down. Well needless to say, my son did not make it and we had to get his car towed to my house. This put my son in a dangerous situation on the freeway where he had to pull over. Thank God he was able to pull over safely. He called me at 2:43 AM and let me know what was happening and that he had pulled over safely. His friend was driving his Uhaul truck behind him. My son called AAA and they towed the car and he made it home safely with the help of AAA. The next business day we spoke to Oscar, the store manager, and he said that he was going call him back with information on where he can take his car. Robert later called my son back and gave my son the name and number of the contact person where he can take his car that will fix his struts under warranty. This shop is in Perris Ca. We are in San Diego more than an hour and a half away! I told him that does not make any sense. He asked my son, "does your mom have AAA, I have premium and they will tow up to 200 miles". Really!!!!!! I told him that it will cost us more to have the car towed there, drive up there with the car and back. Not to mention the drive back to pick up the car to bring it back to San Diego after the repair. I told Robert that is very expensive with the gas prices. He said that he will call me back to see if there is another shop in San Diego or closer. When he called back, he said that there was not another shop but they are willing to give us $60 for gas. WOW!!! I told him that will not do and I'm requesting our money back and we will get them fixed. Robert stated that they will not do that. Thank God that my son is safe because they could have been liable if anything worse happened. In fact, they are liable now!! My son car is not drivable and we are out of hundreds of dollars and they refused to give a refund to us. Made an appointment to get an oil change via the web. They listed a $20 discount for the service. I went to pay and they wanted the full price. What was confusing is that the web had the right price, with the discount, and they sent me an email showing the same information. I asked the clerk whether their system from the web does not communicate with their system in the store? After I said something they found the coupon and applied the discount. The email I got from them listed the prices, however, it had a slot for tax which was listed as $0.00. The clerk asked me for the price of the service plus the tax. What I find interesting is that at the store they knew the tax amount yet did not show it on the web. This is misleading and a lie. Their excuse was a problem with their system. As a contrast, maybe the system of paying my credit card had a problem and I wouldn't have to pay them. Oops! I'd bet anyone that I wouldn't get away with that. I do not like companies that are not up front in how they do business. Whether they did a good job or not is irrelevant. If they cannot be truthful they they are a company that I won't do business with. The only way of stopping companies from taking advantage of the consumer is to stop doing business with them. **UPDATE: I just changed my review to three stars over five due to this last interaction. Most recently when I came, they didn't reset my maintenance light and tried to tell me to come back another day when they started to feel too busy to take care of me or were done with me after I paid. They also left my hood open, which I noticed because the open hood indicator light was very obviously on. Hopefully there are no other issues but considering that they didn't take the time to fix it themselves when the service guy admitted that he noticed it, and then tried to brush it off, has me trusting them less and worried about future issues. I'll probably go back to the dealership next time just based on the trust I lost with them there, even though they were nice and I've had solid experiences here before. I gave them the benefit of the doubt that they came out and told me one of my wheels is a little bent after I called them out for leaving the hood open and asking if they meant to do that, but now I'm not so sure if they truly forgot or were trying to make up for the obviously lack of attention to detail with some of the simple things like the indicator light reset and leaving my hood open. I still really like them for tires, but maybe I will just go back to only using them for that. I don't trust them with my internals.** I am honestly really happy with this establishment. These guys really treat me well and seem to really have my best interests at heart, which I am so grateful for. I'm happy to let them help maintain my vehicle (Volvo S60 T5 Inscription Premiere), and every time I've been here they've been nothing short of helpful. They have great attitudes and the facility is always clean. Big plusses! Their prices are reasonable and their wait time fluctuates but a majority of the time they've been able to be timely with their service. I like them so far, and I keep coming back. I went in on a Saturday to get a new tire. They didn't have the tire so Oscar said he'd order it for me and to call him if I hadn't heard from them by Tuesday. I actually called the next weekend and he said things were slow because of the Palisades fire. Yes, I completely understood that. He said he'd call the supplier and get right back to me. He never did. So, I called the next business day and he said he still didn't know. FINALLY, the tire came in but never did he call me to tell me it was in as he had said he would. So I asked him when I should come in. He said at 2:00 because some of his guys were still on lunch. I came in and the bays were full with cars. He gave me no indication that my car would need to wait to be serviced when I spoke to him. No problem, I left the car and he said it would be done by 5 and he'd call me. No call so I came back around 5:30 to only have to wait until around 6 to get my car. My advise is to not go to Just Tires in TO if you are expecting your service to be done is a timely manner and don't expect t ever get the call back from them like they say they are going to do. read more

I have never written a review like this. But then, I've NEVER had a worse customer experience. I've been a Just Tires customer for literally decades and was EXTREMELY disappointed in my recent July 5th experience. We brought my son's vehicle in for alignment after a phone salesperson quoted us $119. Arriving at the store, the same salesperson confirmed the $119 price for our vehicle type and size. However, after work was completed and my wife and son picked up the vehicle, and Store Manager De La Rosa said it would be $169 for our vehicle because of.... vehicle type and size. Even after explaining the situation, he refused to honor the price his salesperson quoted earlier. More than miffed, I returned to the store a while later to discuss this with the Manager and was further appalled by his unwillingness to honor the $119 price or even provide an explanation. Apparently it was $50 he was determined to get any way possible. I was quickly in his face expressing my anger for taking advantage of the situation (and my family) and for lying to us, telling him this was a huge level of disrespect in not honoring our original agreement. He refused to look at me or talk further. Just walked away. Great customer management. I then told the salesperson to remove my family names and vehicles from their Just Tires database. Promised never to do business with them in the future. Pretty sure this doesn't matter to them. Hope they understand this is more than loss of a customer. It's a complete loss of good will, which I will be unpleasantly vocal in sharing with everyone I can in the many years to come. Rob was able to help me after I had bought my tires previously about a year ago from the now closed Simi Valley location. He extremely helpful in quickly determining a damaged tire which had a bubble in the sidewall was covered with my road hazard protection. The previous location had also put on 2 of the non-damaged tires inside-out which the team here flipped/fixed for me. Rob was quick at ordering a new tire and finding one that matched the same style since my other tires make was no longer available. The small fee for new roadside hazard on the new tire was so much cheaper than a new tire. The old tire wasn't immediately dangerous, but I had two people tell me to have it replaced so I was super glad I was able to get it replaced. Thank you a ton! read more

I have been going to just tires for many years for a routine oil change and tire rotation. The last 2 visits haven't been good. My husband was just there 2 days ago. We let them know that there seemed to be an issue with my tire pressure in the rear passenger side tire and to please check it out. Picked up the car about an hour later and seemed like everything was okay, well it wasn't. A day later tire pressure was now low on front passenger side and it was significantly low... 14 PSI, I managed to get to a gas station and add air to tire. by the time I was home it was went from 38 to 36 PSI. I immediately knew that there was something wrong with the tire. I called a mobile tire service that came out to my house and he let me know that the tire pressure was low and that there was probably a nail in it. He also noticed that the tire was not put on correctly, and I had a screw missing. I am upset that Just Tire employees did not do their job correctly, they indicated that they had inspected my tires and that there was nothing wrong, they also did a tire rotation and failed to notice that there was a HUGE nail in it, the tire was put on incorrectly and I am now missing a screw. I will not be back to Just Tires, they have lost me as a customer, the safety of my child & family is priority and if you cant fix tires correctly then you shouldn't be working there. read more

Very rare for me to post a super negative review. Just Tires in Thousand Oaks deserves this one. 1. I noticed my car was hydroplaning in rain. Recognized the need to replace front tires. Rear tires and alignment was fine 2. Just Tires, upon my request, put the new tires on the back and rotated the rear tires to the front 3. They called and said I needed an alignment. I agreed the additional $114 4. Next day, car was horribly out of alignment. It was driving straight BEFORE I PAID FOR AN ALIGNMENT 5. A week later, I took the car back in to have it re-aligned. They told me I need to replace the other two tires. Wow, really? 6. Being a trusting customer, I agreed to spend hundreds more $$ to complete a set of 4 matching tires. 7. Guess what: THE CAR WAS STILL WAY OUT OF ALIGNMENT (automatically changing lanes within several seconds) 8. I brought the car back for a third time. The alignment specialist drove the car and acknowledged the car is out of alignment!! I didn't have time for any more of it, so I said I'll be in touch. 9. Another week later I stop by again (4th visit). I ask for either 1) a refund of the $114 for the original alignment or 2) a guarantee that the 5th visit will fix the issue. Assistant Manager (a very nice person) said she would let the manager know and would ask him to call me asap. 10. Three days later. No call. Conclusion: They can keep the $114. They wasted way more than that $$ of my time, and my new tires are wearing out quickly due to being misaligned. My boyfriend went to this location to get a flat replaced. Of course life sucks and come to find out the damage on both front tires had further damage. He went around 10 am and had a conversation with the manager. Manager told him he would have to order the replacements and they'll arrive around 1 pm. My boyfriend then comes back at 3:15 pm to find out (from an associate because the manager decided to leave early) that the manager DID NOT even order the tires leaving my boyfriend to stay behind longer to come up with a solution.
