(Keep in mind, I ACTUALLY visited this restaurant. This is an actual review. Service is a huge part of the dining experience, and that is the thing that I feel the need to address the most from my experience. This is an actual review, not a "social commentary" post.) Average wings, above average racism. Yes, this restaurant is in the media right now, but I actually was a customer here recently. I didn't think to post my experience on Yelp at the time, but I feel compelled to now. The food is average. That's the best way for me to put it. I had wings and a drink, and that was it. My friend had raved about the place, and I now question her judgment based on my overall experience. I say this because, as a very pale white guy, most people with questionable attitudes assume that I'm on "their side." I grew up and live in St. Louis, Missouri, which gets its share of racists and the racially tolerant, and I'm thankful to be on the side of the latter. I've seen an insane amount of racial conflicts of varying degrees and as such I tend to notice that kind of behavior brewing. This was the case that night. The time that we visited this restaurant, our server was extremely nice to us, but I had noticed that the same server was almost ice cold to two other tables that night - one with two black men, and the other a table of a white woman and black man. Everyone else was getting friendly, fast service, but there was almost open hostility to these other tables. At one point, this server let out an exasperated sigh and looked to me as she rolled her eyes and said, "Can you believe it?" I actively stopped her and asked "Believe what?" She then proceeded to talk about how she's tired of seeing "those kind of people" coming in and ruining her nights. I was genuinely shocked. Both tables of "those people" had been nothing but polite and tolerant, given her attitude towards them. I said nothing more, we finished our meal, and left. I will not be returning to this restaurant. The food was average at best. The dining environment, again, was average at best. Not inspired in any way. When the thing that an average customer takes from your restaurant is the shocking level of racism on display, you're not running a very good business. read more

We live near the Annville "Just Wing it" location and drove by it many times but up until this past Saturday have not tried it out. We were set to go to Buffalo Wild Wing in Colonial Park, after seeing the menu it would have cost my crew approx $60-70 to get a ample amount of wings but not fill us. I decided let's head back home and call in a order to Just Wing it. We were about 25 minutes away when we called for pick up, and they said the wings will be ready in 20 minutes. We ordered 100 wings(5 different flavors). When it was all said and done, there was only a couple of wings left. Everyone in my family liked the wings. The seasonings were very good, wings were average size and all warm and ready when we picked them up. I can't answer for sitting in the restaurant as we just picked up, but I thought the place looked even nicer than expected once inside as opposed to just looking from the outside. Very clean and organized. I drive by alot and never see any people in there, but I assume two things, either most people people do carry out/delivery or they just have not yet tried this place. There menu is huge and we will start to tackle other items over time, but for now-go to this place and get wings !! The 100 wings was approx $65, next time we will do the 75 wings for $45 as I think that quantity would be better.. read more

I wasn't going to leave a review but imagine my surprise when I saw this shop in the news and everything suddenly makes sense to me! I was just here with my sister when I visited her in Massachusetts. We spent a few days traveling through the Delaware Valley region and had stopped by here. I thought the food was pretty basic, nothing you can't get anywhere else. We were just looking for a bite so weren't expecting much. But at one point, I did tell one of the waitresses there that one of the basket of wings were too dry, I mean like biting into chicken jerky dry. I could tell she was annoyed when I said that. Either way, they didn't fix my order. The entire experience left my sister and I with such an uncomfortable feeling, we could just feel that we didn't belong. They were all staring at us and "judging" us so we quickly ate and went on our way. Now everything makes so much sense. This experience reminds me of when my sister and I were in Acton, MA and we went into a local deli to ask for help and all the ladies there shot us dirty looks and told us, "we can't help you." What dimension and year do we live in again? What happened to treating others, and your customers, with kindness and respect. read more

I tried this place about a year ago, when I had to go thru PA. A relative from the city (Annville) told me that I should give this place a try. I wish I hadn't listened. I thought since there were 7-8 diff types of wings that all of us (there were 8 of us) would have something we like. Instead we got stared down like we were criminals -.- ( 2 of us Caucasion, 4 African Americans, 3 Latinos and 1 Asian. We felt we had all the employee's eyes on us the entire time.. even tho we were all in business suits. The food was horrible .. those so called great wings... there is absolutely no meat on them unless you call the overcooked food, 'cripsy' lol. We(my co-workers and friends) will never use this establishment again for 1. HORRID FOOD 2. Bad service. 3. The seem racist as hell. (OH wait.. wow.. interesting.. I just saw where the owner decided to 'voice' his racist self saying.. he didn't need people of color's money *I am being nice here saying people of color.. he used a more COLORFUL word :/) PEOPLE.. if you have a shred of decency.. stay far from this place and even if you LOVE wings... spend your money elsewhere.. While out and about with my two nephews on a Monday late afternoon (7&8 y/o) we decided to stop here for some wings. The kids were incredibly excited about the 125 different flavors! I have to say, I was pretty excited as well. It's a rare to find a place around this area that offers up more than just the generic wing flavors. The inside of the restaurant was fun, Hawaiian themed and very spacious. There were TVs up everywhere you looked, making me wish there were some games on to watch while we ate. The kids were excited about it too. The best part was I didn't have to worry about them knocking into anyone in there or being in the way, which is always a relief. Now to the important stuff, service and taste! The woman helping to take our order was incredibly helpful and good with the kids. Considering they had 125 flavors to choose from, it took them quite a bit to make up their minds. The wings came out quickly and were perfectly crispy and sauced. Ate here when I was in town over the weekend with my girlfriend. It had a small-town feel, but... the whole place was very uncomfortable the closer a look you took at it. It looked dirty (floors, tablecloths, etc) and none of the cooks were wearing hairnets, which made me wanna inspect my food very very closely. My girlfriend's napkin had a hole in it. Me, I'm not a clean freak but it felt.. off, and the food was pretty bland. I like my wings dry with the sauce on the side, that way you can taste the chicken and not get your hands to dirty. These were literally the worst wings I've ever had. They were tough, dry and overcooked and the hot sauce tasted like it was made with about 50% salt. I gagged after trying the first one and my fiancé had practically the same reaction. We politely explained our displeasure to the staff and asked to try a different variety. The owner came out and told us to leave. Horribly rude and uncalled for, as we never raised our voices or said anything remotely unpleasant. We were eating here just before Christmas. A customer spilled their drink on the floor, and to their credit, an employee quickly showed up to wipe it up. I watched as that employee laid the rag on a counter, where I knew no one else would know how it had been used. Sure enough. I actually witnessed the manager of this place call some young people looking for a bite to eat racists names. I didn't realize I had gone in a time machine into the 1800s. Went here a month ago while on a trip, should have avoided the place. Slow and rude service, the food was room temperature at best, and looked poorly prepared. During my meal I also noticed the unsanitary practices of the people handling food (cross contamination, no washing g of hands, no gloves, etc.). Sadly, tonight we had a bad experience- not with the food- not with the dinner service (our server, Erica, was wonderful)...Instead, our party of 17 was basically treated as though we were unwanted guests by the hostess. Squeezing 6 teens and 3 children into a corner booth and the rest of us in two adjacent tables. Rather than giving us the extra table next to us so we actually had space for the plates in front of us, the hostess refused stating it was "another servers section". Unless you're a party of 4, you're probably too much hassle and they'd rather you not show up at their door.
