I ventured over to the east side of the parish to meet some friends to watch US in the World Cup. I was not aware this was an actual large restaurant, but when I walked in, it was a nice surprise. The bar area is big and there are tons of other tables. TVs line the walls. My friends ordered a couple of apps which were all good - there's a grazing board which had a lot of fresh and flavorful bites. I ended up ordering the smashburger because it was the special. I hadn't planned on eating the whole thing, but I did and I don't regret it. They have flat cut fries which needed a little more flavor, but still good. Service was okay enough. When at the table, he didn't check to see if everyone was good each time, which led to multiple visits when things could have been handled all at once. We had to ask for small app plates, and silverware was not provided at all spots. Dishes were never cleared when bringing additional apps, so we took to stacking and rearranging plates. And no one seemed to be quite sure of the happy hour specials, if any. All and all, it's a great place to watch the game, and I assume a good place for kids to go because it's so open and wide. read more

This place is really good. The fries are these interesting thick-but-not-too-thick steak fries, the wings are tasty. The service is nothing to write home about, but good. It's a little pricey but you can tell they make at least most things in house. Last time we went, I got the steak filet wrap which wasn't as big as I'd hoped, but it was very good! It'd be a fun place to watch a game. I think this is our new favorite wing place! read more

Just Wingin' It is a great option for food and sports on TV that's close to home. Beer is always cold, food is always hot and fresh. Appetizers are always hot and quick out of the kitchen. When it comes to wings, the biggest bang for your buck are the giant boneless wings doused in their Daytona sauce. Coming from someone who usually subs fries for something else, the thin and crispy steak fries are always delicious. Servers are always expedient and attentive without being overbearing. What better way to celebrate your victory at the gym than to have a post snack from Just Wingin it! This is a cute restaurant/bar! Servers are pretty young...mostly high school kids or barely college aged kiddos...so don't expect as super attentive or super knowledgeable service. Maybe I'm just getting old lol. I love coming here for the freshly made mozzarella sticks! It's hot, fresh and super crunchy on the outside! I've also tried a variety of wings and by far my fav flavor is the Caribbean jerk. It's not like the typical spicy Caribbean jerk you've had in the past...it's more of a sweeter tasting wing vs a savory flavored one. I did try many other flavors but I was not liking the vinegary ones. I would have liked for them to label their wings so you know what flavors you are getting since the majority of the other flavors are similar in tastes. Update months and months later after we came for their grand opening week.. It seems like they've made some changes to their menu..! All wings now comes with a side of fries.. thank goodnesss.....considering they're pretty pricey already. We ordered 20 bone - in breaded wings. Honestly, their wings are HUGE. We ordered half Tiger Sauce and half garlic Parmesan. The tiger sauce tasted like a sweet & sour Tabasco sauce.. pretty tasty. The garlic Parmesan came out .. LOOKIN' GREEN! We both were confused but I mean never judge a wing by it's coating.. right?!.. I mean essentially their garlic Parmesan sauce is exactly like an aioli. It was different for sure. I probably won't be ordering them again. However, def def definitely recommend Daytona (p.s. they're always sold out of daytona) and tiger sauce. read more

I come here for the wings and the Mozzarella cheese sticks. The mozzarella sticks have to be in house made they are the best. They have bones and bone in wings in a wide variety of flavors and they also have naked or breaded on the bone in wings. I always get the naked bone in, my favorite is the traditional Buffalo but they are all good. They also have daily lunch specials Monday they Friday. My husband and I decided to order take out. He ordered the caesar salad with added shrimp. I ordered the grilled redfish which came with broccoli & a side salad. We also ordered a side of onion rings. My fish very dry. The caesar salad came with dressing on the side, but it was very strange and didn't taste at all like caesar. Both his salad and my side salad had huge chunks of lettuce. There was zero attempt to cut the salad into bite size pieces. And the order of onion rings, well they were just sad. I would say this is a nice spot for close neighborhoods to get out and enjoy some decent grub and watch their favorite sports team with some buddies or the family. I don't see all of Baton Rouge cramming to get a table here unless there was some really great happy hour or offers. Had to ask for ranch dipping. -CHEESE & CHARCUTERIE BOARD- we got the Large size. Items on board were decent but we felt it could be better for $24 -BOUDIN BALLS- Fried. Pretty decent flavor. You get 6 to an order. -NAKED BONE IN WINGS- crispy but still juicy. -BREADED BONE IN WINGS- just personal preference but I prefer breaded for boneLESS wings. Flavor on the wings were decent. There's 9 flavors total. We tried: -TIGER SAUCE- -GARLIC PARMESAN- -LEMON PEPPER BUFFALO- -CARIBBEAN JERK- Side of Fries were cut into thin steak style. There's also shuffleboard in the corner you could play. I wouldn't be opposed to going back to trying more things on the menu. Seems like this place has a new owner & hate to say it but the food was much better this time! Super fresh & came out hot too! My husband and I shared the fried cheese. We always get a side of ranch also. They are the larger ones, so 5 is pretty great for an appetizer. Normally we opt for the 50 cent wings on Monday, but we shared a patty melt. Again, the flavor and freshness of this sandwich was amazing. The fries were the same but we've never had them come out hot before. Crazy as that sounds we live close, so we come here often & the fries were always cold. Love that the back really cares about timing. It was fresh, the chicken was still hot and a spring mix is used with chunks of blue cheese. It was filling and I should have stopped there. But I didn't. Instead I let Maddie ( the waitress behind the bar) talked me in to a fried chicken red beans and rice wrap.
