There is so much to like about Mike Anderson's! Great place to bring out-of-town family and friends who want to try South Louisiana food. You really can't go wrong with anything on the menu. My favorites are the Chargrilled Oysters and the Broiled Seafood Platter. Our family also enjoys the Family Packs to go. The Shrimp and Grits are an excellent choice during brunch. If you like daquiris you MUST TRY the Blueberry Slinger and Pina Colada mixed together!

Oh Mike Anderson's! It's always a win when I go! It never disappoints! First the wait was 30 mins but I ain't mind and it definitely didn't disappoint! When I got seated I ordered the blueberry slinger and it was VERY GOOD! I truly enjoyed it. Fruity with a sense of sweetness but not over powering! Then I ordered the shrimp Norman and it did not disappoint either! The shrimp were seasoned very well and the crab meat on top of the shrimp was very good too! The ambiance at Mike Anderson's is always great! Never too noisy! Very good place to eat! 10/10! I will definitely be back

One of my very favorite things to eat is a grilled seafood platter, and the best I have ever had comes from Mike Anderson's Seafood Restaurant. The seafood is always perfectly seasoned and cooked just right, making every bite incredible. The service is consistently great, and the inviting atmosphere makes it a place you want to sit back and enjoy. It is a go to spot that never disappoints.

I would've never expected a restaurant to be back in this rural area. It was a nice surprise to find it and the restaurant itself is so beautiful. The restaurant was freshly decorated for Christmas and it looked like it was out of a Hallmark movie. The staff was very accommodating for our party of nine. I liked that the tables were a large square so we could still all see each other and interact. I wish I remembered our waitress's name but she was so nice and friendly. She would have been working the lunch shift on Friday, November 29. For an appetizer, I had a half dozen of raw oysters. They brought it out with crackers, horseradish, cocktail sauce, and lemon wedges. The oysters were a very nice size and one of them was so big we nicknamed it the granddaddy oyster. There was a very nice lunch special menu with very affordable prices. I chose the sampler which came with gumbo, etoufee, fried catfish, fried shrimp, a hush puppy, and fried mushrooms. I was in seafood heaven. This lunch was a foodie's dream. I will definitely be back next time. I'm in Louisiana.

Fried pimento cheese ball (but where's the pimento?)

Stopped by for a late lunch today with my wife and stepson. Had the crab 7 ways, catfish poboy, crab/squash/potato soup, chargrilled crab claws, fried pimento cheese balls, and crab au gratin. All in all, I was disappointed. The pimento cheese balls didn't seem to be pimento cheese at all; there were no pimentos nor was there any "zing" that comes with pimento cheese. The soup was different than expected and just wasn't very good, very watery and the flavors didn't meld well. Crab claws, crab au gratin, and poboy were good. My wife is a crab fiend but she said the crab 7-ways was lackluster.

In my option Mike Anderson's is very over rated. Unless it was just a bad day but the service was really good and the waiter was very nice and attentive. We only had to wait 45 minutes for a Sunday which isn't bad in my opinion. We got the gator appetizer and it was very good, fried well and the sauce was very good. I got the Cajun crawfish Alfredo it was extremely thick and didn't really taste like anything I wouldn't recommend. Another guest got the fried shrimp with fries which was very good I really liked the breading on the shrimp. The fried oysters I was told were a little fishy but the batter was good. The baked potato was dry but the toppings were nice. I don't have a picture but the blackened drum was also very good. The ambiance is always nice with the Cajun music and the pond outside. The place is very nice for what it is.

The food and the service was excellent! Some of the best oysters and crab claws I've ever had.

Food and Service was great as usual! The waiter was extremely personable and accommodating due to my shellfish allergy.

Terrible service. Staff member was in her phone as the hostess and clearly didn't care about customers. Waste of time coming here

Slower service than Lee Drive. This is second visit to this location and service wait is unlike the other location. Strange.

My favorites are the lamb chops that are cooked to perfection and the beef oxtails. When it comes to appetizers honey pepper chicken bites and the beef patties always call my name. The chef and and his family are loving and very inviting as if they invited you to their home for a delicious meal. I will return and hope to work my way through trying the entire menu.

But this visit was horrible, the bartender wasn't rude or necessarily welcoming but I wasn't focused on him I just wanted my food. Going in with high expectations I was completely let down especially after purchasing 4 meals to go. It was extremely over seasoned and the rice was gummy it wasn't good at all. The greens were super salty and my fish was hard. Everyone I purchased food for was dissatisfied a totally waste of money!! We threw it all away it was completely inedible. I'm so upset!! If you want to wait 30-40 mins for a good daiquiri this is the place to get it, going through the drive thru will take you about 30 mins. If you decide to park and go inside they have 7 parking spots in the front with only 2 handicap, if those are taken you have to park in the back, which they do have a back door at that lot but choose not to open it, so you just walk all the way around(not very favorable if more than 2 handicap people arrive which was in our case). They use the neighboring business for parking also so we tried that to so we would be a little closer but the security watched and waited for us to fully get out, walk all the way to front of business to inform us we cannot park next to the other cars in that same line. I would go back if their property was decent for customers to arrive to. Security said if the lot is full we are welcome to park in the rotolos lot and walk across airline hwy(not the safest option), we decided to go home after that conversation.
