Upon completion and inspection, I notice a deep horizontal scratch across the entire window. He apologized, said he would reorder and reinstall. Never heard from him again. I got tired of following up. And that was that. I never did a negative review, I got what I paid for. Fine. However, a few months after he installed the glass, my side door panel separated from the base and is not attached. That I could not take. I never reached out for him to fix it because if he didn't keep his word on the glass replacement that came damaged, why would he fix his faulty install? Now that I'm getting a new car and have time to review after waiting a year for a reply, I Do Not Recommend this business. Do not support this business, especially if you have a luxury vehicle. The money I spent in fixing this after the fact, I could have spent upfront at the dealership to have it done correctly, under warrantee the 1st time.

Ok they said they had to order the glass, cool so that put the replacement back a day... no sweat. The gentleman show up Thursday as shared. Get there with the wrong window. He comes and tell me I have an extended cab... no sir I do not I have a standard cab sir. No you don't you have an extended cab. Sir I know what I bought extended cab has room for a seat brother no one can sit back here. Long story short. Wrong window bought only for them to email me and say your window can not be purchased or ordered. Well I just saw the window for 175.00 lol. Total waste of time. I wouldn't call them... especially seeing as thought they can follow simple directions and don't know what windows to order when they have clearly been shared with what is needed.

I had used them before to repair a crack but knew this one would require a replacement. Jason gave me a quote for after market glass and also OEM. Because my BMW has heads up display and other safety features through the windshield he explained why I wanted OEM glass. Afterwards I did my own research and determined he was spot on. No pressure from Jason. He just let me know they were there when I was ready. Then I left town and it was an entire month before I got back to fixing my windshield. H&A is an approved provider through my insurance so the process was so easy. Within 30 minutes, Jason had the authorization from my insurance company for the replacement and calibration needed. Horatio called me and let me know he was on the way. He and Wilmer got right to work. In less than two hours they had my windshield replaced, did the calibration and drove it to make sure everything was functioning properly. They even were kind enough to move the sticker I need to get in our work parking lot from my old windshield to my new one. Horatio and Wilmer were both professional and efficient. They had my car over 3 months after telling me it would take about one week. I was charged $3,800…read moremore than I was quoted, and my car was unsafe and barely drivable. Difficulty turning the steering wheel, intense grinding and scraping sounds, vibrations, etc. And little to no body/cosmetic work was actually done. After taking it to another mechanic, they recommended not driving it at all because of safety concerns and continued damage due to improper and incomplete repairs. THEY ALSO FOUND A RUSTY PAIR OF PLIERS LODGED BETWEEN THE FRAME AND THE CONTROL ARM WHICH WAS CAUSING MUCH OF THE STEERING AND GRINDING ISSUES. The compressor was incorrectly placed and was shredding the timing belt. The control arms were bent and causing gouging and damage to the brakes. I paid another $3,330 to get those things fixed. I have now paid over $7,100 OVER Kong's initial $9,000 estimate just to get the car in safe driving condition. So all in I have paid over $16,100... and that's just under the hood. After several requests and sharing paperwork and all details with Kong's, they are unwilling to reimburse me for these expenses. If you have had a similar experience, I recommend filing formal complaints with: GA Attorney General, Secretary of State, Federal Trade Commission, Better Business Bureau, and local and state criminal fraud/negligence departments. *notes and pics are from the reputable mechanic that finally got my car into a safe and drivable condition.

The quote went from being $2,000+ to about $500. Sure enough, he was able to work some magic on my catalytic converter, replace some spark plugs, and tweak a couple other things here and there. I originally took the car because it had failed an emissions inspection. When I arrived to pick it up, I found that he had taken the liberty of bringing the car to an emissions place and had already gotten it passed. The paperwork was sitting on my dashboard. It's been about 3 months since then; I wanted to wait some time to confirm that my issues would not return.
