LOVE, LOVE, LOVE! Every time I walk through this vineyard I have the most incredible time. This review has been a long time coming. A recent member but consistent visitor. Visited this past weekend and was greeted by Mike , served by Kevin. Gorgeous view, whether a member or not the service is always on point. Perks of being a member is that you get a discount for having a great time. Brought my family and they got to indulge in the perks with me. Wine was top tier. They don't serve you what is in your local grocery store, they've got the exclusive wine here. Reserves hold a special place in my heart. Enjoyed all glasses but th Isosceles, Sauvignon Blanc, Cabernet , Rose...ok all of them were the best. lol Can't have a bad drink here. Highly recommend, food is incredible! 2025 Michelin star, need I say more ? Our group enjoyed the Winter Salad, Mushroom pasta, charcuterie board, and apple pie. Parking was easy , reception is bad until you reach the property. Casual wear is ok in this classy setting. People are down to earth and ready to story tell about the wine here. Excited to go back.

When visiting Paso Robles, Justin Vineyards is one of my favorite wineries to visit. Not only do they have a beautiful property with gorgeous views and great wines, but also offer wonderful lunch options, for a lovely afternoon. They have also added chocolate truffles to their offerings, to pair with tastings or boxed for gift giving.

Justin is an award winning winery tucked deep in Paso Robles. I've tried a few of their bottles before, so I'm glad I finally made the trip here. We came in July, and the weather was perfect for some day drinking, I mean wine tasting. Ambiance: (5/5) Spacious, classy, and beautifully designed. The whole place gives Napa winery vibes, elegant yet comfortable. Service: (5/5) Kevin was awesome. Super knowledgeable, friendly, and funny. He made the whole experience even better. Food & Drinks: (4/5) We ordered the fried and curry nuts to pair with our wine. I went with the premium tasting, and my favorite was the 2020 platinum reserve. It was bold, dry and flavorful! 2019 Isosceles Reserve was my second favorite from the tasting. I've had this bottle before, but somehow it tasted even better on the property. This is probably the first winery that I've been to servers Fuji water with the tasting. Overall: Justin Winery is absolutely worth the trip and a must-visit at least once if you're in Paso Robles.

My friends and I had wonderful time at Justin Vineyards and winery. We were helped by Kyle. He gave us a great tasting that was very informative and delicious. We had for lunch we shared the sea bass, summer pasta and summer salad. All wonderfully delicious would highly recommend. I would suggest to come towards the end of the day because it was rather hot but the staff did their best to keep my party and I cool. There are electric chargers throughout the parking facilities if you have an electric vehicle which is a plus if you are lucky enough to grab one they are slower chargers but it's free so that another plus in my eyes. I will definitely be returning.

I've been having some of their wine here and there at restaurants, and since I was in the area, I thought, WINE NOT?! I made a reservation because I'm from California, and that's just what we do. When I got there, there were more than enough tables for lunch and tastings. I got the basic tasting (because I'm an all reds NorCal girlie), and swapped out the sauv blanc with the rose. All of the wines were fantastic, howeeeever I DID feel like the isosceles should've come before the cab???? I paired everything with their truffle fries because the smell of the truffle fries from other tables was TOO irresistible. I had to, and loved my decision. I initially came here because I have a dog and they're super dog friendly! Dogs everywhere. Yall should definitely go!

We love Justin wine! However, you MUST come here for the burger!! It is so perfect, juicy and just hits the spot! The restaurant on site is Michelin star. It's so nice to have a good meal while you taste their amazing wine. We loved it so much that we became members! Service is great and their pours are generous. I also love the added touch of complimentary Fiji water bottle. I can't wait to try the chefs tasting menu at the Michelin star restaurant.

Yelp removed/censored my first review of Justin Winery that included "the politics of the owners" which you can look into on your own or refer to my Google review for more insight. So, at the suggestion of Yelp I'll focus on my "firsthand experience" of Justin Winery which is just as unsavory. When we arrived at 2:45 pm we were told all of the other tables were reserved and we could not be seated anywhere except the table we were given. You'll see in the video attached that none of the other tables were seated from the time we arrived until our departure around 4:30 pm. We signed up for a membership at Justin but after doing *more research* and based on our experiences with their "hospitality"-- we will be cancelling. I hope this helps anyone visiting Paso Robles to really look into where your dollars are being spent.

We were greeted immediately with a smile and a big welcome. We were taken to the patio which looked out onto the beautiful vineyards and given our choice of tables. It was a bit chilly so our server, Kyle, turned on a patio heater which made the experience so much better just with the comfort level. We had a tasting and lunch. The Justin Burger lives up to the hype. It's expensive but we went in knowing what we were getting into. The wines are spectacular. No doubt about it. We never felt rushed. To the contrary, our server took the very best care of us, even when he got much busier. Justin is a must do when in Paso Robles.

I enjoyed the ambiance and the wine. It was a chilly day, but they had the heaters outside that kept us warm. I usually go for the white wine but I actually enjoyed their red wine more!

This wine estate is a bit farther from most of the wineries here but they have some really tasty wines! I recommend making reservations for lunch ahead of time so you can enjoy a flight with some food. The burger here is really fantastic and juicy too. Great open space and pretty busy on the weekends too.

The restaurant at Justin is not worthy of a Michelin Star! Some servings were brought before the previous course was consumed. The wine pouring was sloppy, and the A5 Wagyu was of fatty poor quality.

Our service was very detailed in the wine we were served and very friendly! The food here is delicious and the chocolate flight was really interesting to try. The venue is very beautiful and they even have a small garden in the back you can walk around too. I will say our server did get a little busy and it took a while to finish our wine tasting but since the vibes were so great, we didn't mind at all (:

    Beautiful day from our table

Ask the Community - JUSTIN Vineyards & Winery

How is the drive to Justin Winery? I'm nervous driving around steep winding cliff roads.

The road to JUSTIN is quite windy, but it’s rolling hillsides, no steep cliffs. There are some narrow points (1 lane bridge) where you may have to cooperate with a car coming the other way.…

Do you have to do a tasting? Can you order by the glass or bottle?

No you don't have to do a tasting and yes, you can order wine from the glass or bottle.

Is this a good place to bring kids, do they allow?

I would say no. It is not a good place to bring kids.

We are coming for dinner in November and I'd like to know the dress code please? We will be coming straight from an all-day outdoor retreat.

Dress is casual country, dress or slacks with flat shoes. I was there last week and the dress code I observed was casual versatile . Some people were wearing sun hats because it was sunny.

Do you have to get a reservation? Or can you just walk-in and order a glass of wine?

Yes, you need reservations. I'm guessing if they're not full, you could walk in and get seated.

Are dogs allowed in the restaurant?

Dogs ARE allowed when sitting outside.

Children allowed for lunch and tasting?

Yes! We are family friendly; we just ask that children are accompanied by an adult.

Can we have lunch here without participating in a tasting?

    Yes

Can you order food at 2:45 tasting?

Not currently, the cutoff for kitchen orders with tasting is 2:30pm

Made reservations for tasting and lunch on patio. Does it include a tour of estate?

    No it does not

Does Justin have a regular Resturant?

Yes they serve lunch 11-2:30 Thursday through Sunday

Is it too hot to eat there in August? (I assume it's only outdoor seating.)

    The restaurant is indoors.

Are tastings always outside? I'm planning to cancel me in August and reviews sound like sitting outside is too hot.

All tastings are outdoor seating at the estate. They do have a lot of fans and misters

Is wine by the bottle (to have on-site) or glass available for purchase after a tasting?

    Yes, usually

What does the $40 wine tasting include? If you decide to buy a bottle is the fee waived or wine purchase discounted?

Tasting includes 5-6 tastings. If you buy $100 of wine then the tasting is waived.

Is there any outdoor tastings still happening?

Yes but they need reservations and it's all under patio umbrellas with fans. It's very hot!

Is this place Kid friendly? Want to stop by for tasting but have two kids with us.

    .

    Can I bring my dog?

    Heck Yes

We came into the parking lot but wanted to extend our son's napping so we drove around the area for another twenty minutes. When the hostess checked us in, she was wondering if we were the folks that drove in and then drove out haha. We sat down and had a red and white tasting that each consisted of 5 wines each. All were pretty good and the white wines definitely had more tropical fruit notes associated with them. The reds were as you expected: big and bold. Had some oak to help mellow out the boldness but definitely a great wine to sip on. THE FINAL BAMBOO: For a red and a white tasting, the damage done here was around $50. We enjoyed the views and the hospitality here. Will be back!
