[[HIGHLIGHT]]We had an enjoyable morning of wine tasting in a lovely setting.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's a cozy, country, backyard vibe.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The red wines were my favorite. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I loved the chill vibe of the place; they had steaks on the grill that morning to go with the red wine and that was a treat that complimented the red wine I was enjoying.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

[[HIGHLIGHT]]What a cool, funky, boutique winery.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Brought sandwiches to munch along with our tasting - while the doggo slept at our feet.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Said hello to the goats.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Great vibe.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Great wines! "Down to earth" winery. I think that's the best compliment that I can give a winery. Justin, Hope Austin, Opolo ... all good ... but Kiamie seems to be just focused on producing quality wines! What an awesome visit!

We visited six different wineries this weekend and this was our favorite stop. They have fantastic wines! Their tasting area is like others described cute and rustic. You will definitely feel like you are in a chill backyard instead of a country club, which we really enjoyed. The owners were really nice and made us feel very welcome. We didn't leave without becoming members.

We really enjoyed our tasting experience at Kiamie. Not only did mom and dad enjoy each pour; the kids also had fun playing puzzle while having their complimentary sparkling water, iced pops, and petting time with resident goat named Goat! It was so much fun for the entire family. Being in this place makes you feel like a part of their family - a loving family that is. No pretensions, just some good lovin'! Thank you Kiamie!

Absolutely loved our visit to this rustic family owned winery. Glad I was able to find it during my research into Paso Robles. It was our first time and our group of 5 were treated with courtesy and respect. We loved the dogs and the wine was delicious. So much so that myself and one of the other people in my group joined the club. Can't wait to open a bottle when I get home.

Terrible experience. Very rude host, Greg I think was his name. There was maybe 1 wine that was drinkable.

One of the owners, Aram, beautifully explained his wines and philosophy, and we were smitten with the experience.

One of my FAVORITE wineries that we came to during our weekend! We will definitely be back (and…read morehopefully get to see a plane land next time). The views here are just WOW and it's even adorable driving in. You see the little train tracks they have as well as the small but mighty runway where planes can actually fly in and land. So unique! The views from inside or outside are both spectacular, and I enjoyed the ambiance with live music while we were here on a Sunday. Service was great and the food was even better. We ordered the caprices salad which typically comes with tomatoes, but since the chef only works with what's in season, it came with peas. I can't even tell you how amazing it was -- even my boyfriend wanted more! We split the Halter Ranch Burger and Chicken Sandwich and both were great, but the chicken was just so fresh and delicious. Halter Ranch will definitely become one of our regular stops during our trips to Paso from here on out! Can't wait to be back.

We flew in (!!!) to the airstrip on the property, where we were then given a short ride to the main winery. Landing here requires advanced notice and some paperwork, but wasn't too much of a hassle. We started off with the wine tasting - I enjoyed every wine I tried, especially the rose and CDP. The pours were pretty generous and they let us re-visit our favorite, which was nice. We also split the charcuterie board and chicken sandwich. The charcuterie was alright, but nothing amazing. Same for the chicken sandwich, overall pretty good but I wouldn't go out of my way to eat it here. The service was really great, and we enjoyed walking around the property after lunch. I'm definitely excited to come back on one of the days the mini train is running!

We were even lucky enough to have one of the cats tasting with us the entire time. They had a big covered outdoor patio, but we opted to taste at the bar so we could enjoy the cats and not get wet having to go back and forth between inside and out. The tasting menu consisted of 9 wines, 1 white and 8 reds. Since we had another winery or two ahead of us, we opted to share. My boyfriend was skeptical about sharing at first, but he ended up glad we did because the pours were a pretty decent size. They also had a wall of olive oils and balsamics that you could taste. Plus mustards available for purchase, but not tasting. The hospitality was fantastic! It was a rainy day, the tasting room was packed, and there was only one person working, but he managed to take care of all of us with ease. He constantly knew which wines people were on, and still took the time to chat with everyone about the wines and the animals. This wasn't my favorite wine of the trip, but we did leave with a bottle and also got some oils and a mustard!
