Colin did an amazing job repairing an antique china cabinet that was improperly dismantled for a…read morecross-country move. The movers removed the feet and bottom wooden piece, without asking, then walked away without putting it back together. Colin came, took the feet and wood, rebuilt the broken feet, removed wood glue from many years past and rebuilt the cabinet. Once the feet were cleaned up and reattached the bottom wood piece, he came back and reattached everything to the china cabinet. It is now more solid than it had been in over fifty years. This piece has been in our family for three generations and I am so thrilled to have it back in its full beauty again. Colin is a thoughtful, meticulous craftsman and I would hire him again in an instant to repair any piece.

5 stars and a FTR? well if the shoe fits…read more lets see, i needed a new patio door, 14 casement windows and a new one in my living room. i had heard of turner as a good contractor in the glastonbury area, so i gave them a call for an estimate. dave showed up, senior sales guy, he toted in a very large suitcase with his sales devices and a heat lamp and told us all about the virtues of windows and made a joke about crappy products (he actually used it twice, both times got me to give a canned laugh, think shooter mcgavin and his sand joke, I'll let you see it in action, no spoilers) i had obviously looked at a few other companies, but in the end, the price/quality won our business a few weeks later, after our 1st installment cleared, the office called us to set up an installation. the job was suppose to take 1.5 days, in reality it took 6, which, to be fair, i was ok with, well sort of. i rather have it take longer and the attention to detail not be overlooked. funny enough, when the crew showed up the first day the main guy chuckled and said yea, all the windows will be in today and we can come back on monday to finish the trim. well after they spent 8 hours on the patio door, we knew it wasnt going to be a one and done. the patio door apparently was originally installed by a high school shop class. ok, maybe not, but they needed to rip the whole thing out and build it from scratch, fine by me, this job wasnt cheap! the next work day was a snow storm, perfect excuse to not show, no worries they gave me a heads up. skip ahead a few days, full crews in the house getting it done! When they wrapped on Thursday (!) i did a walk over, and found several 'issues' and promptly called the home office, they had a guy on site to fix it asap! Also, that patio door needed some finishing and they came back on Friday to finish and an hour visit turned into another 7 hours cleaning, touching up, finishing this and that. I really appreciated the attention to detail, but then also wondered how they would have expected to get this all done in a day! in (window) closing i would highly recommend corey turner for consideration for your home improvement job, i would also recommend giving them extra time (mentally) to get the job done, but anything worth doing is worth doing well. I am totally perplexed by the good ratings. I was not going to review - but since I have written…read morethem twice to no avail, I feel I must review. 1. Could not clean a few windows because they could not open - maybe the fault of my old house, so will give benefit of the doubt. 2. They definitely did not do the sills. 3. ****** They took took out my dirty window screens and PUT ON MY LIHJT CARPETING! They apologized - but that didn't really help! Literally like 10 filthy lines on rug 4. This is the worst - one of the guys broke the cord on my dining room pleated shade..I did not realize it until after they left..the shade was rolled part way up the window when they got here..after they left it was down..so I went to roll it back up..and TORN CORD! He had to have known he did it - but not a word to me! Pretty disgusted:(

We had a gravel driveway and had Central Sealing come in and replace it with a brand new asphalt driveway, and we added a whole section on the side of the garage. They graded and pitched everything perfectly well so water runs right off, they secured the base material well so I won't have problems with erosion, it is clean, free of defects, a really great job! The owner was there the whole time as well and took the time to demonstrate water runoff and everything with me. I totally recommend them to anyone looking to add or replace a driveway.
