I love staying here - comfortable beds, clean rooms, huge conference spaces, and convenient self parking under the property. It was very easy to pack and unpack my car - plus my room key offered in and out privileges. The staff never fail to be top-notch and almost always I'm able to secure early check-in. Along with my key I was handed a cold bottled water. Any request I made at the front desk throughout the week was promptly resolved. Catering was average and the coffee service and snacks were decent. Starbucks is located on the second floor. High Velocity is a restaurant/bar located on the bottom floor and another is being designed. I'd recommend you leave the hotel for better food and gathering options. High ticket price to stay here and parking is another $50+/night. For locals this is a decent space to meet people for meetings, especially near the coffee shop and its lounge seating.

Outstanding J-Dub... We were in town for the long weekend and stayed at this JW Marriott for the first time... Perfect location (central to all the Indy sports venues, right next to Victory Field, and 10 minute walk to St Elmo's), friendly staff, super clean and well maintained hotel, and great city views. This is probably our favorite hotel in Indy based on the location, amenities, and service. Certainly one of the better JW Marriott's we've stayed at... We'll definitely stay again.

My stay at the JW Marriott Indianapolis was fantastic! I traveled here for a work event and was fortunate enough that all of our business meetings were inside the building in the conference centers. So even as it was 20° outside in January, I did not have to step outside into the freezing cold weather and I was able to get everything done by just staying within the building. The rooms were very clean, the beds were comfortable, but the pillows were extremely thin. There was not a lot of noise from outside the room and I did sleep well... so that was nice. All staff were super friendly!

5 stars all around !! I love JW Marriot!! Can't never go wrong here! Elite hotel and service!!! Once you walk in the valet service is really nice and professional! They have a fast check in process, which I love. They walk up to you to see if your taken care of as well! They pass out cold water bottles and tell you everything you need to know about the amenities!! They have a nice sports bar here called high velocity that's really nice!! Nice gym as well that's huge and clean with nice treatment sweat rooms. They have a Starbucks that closes as 4pm and opens at 6:30 am. Also they have a nice market with snacks, drinks, coffee, and medicine. They have so much for you. No pool here!! but nice clean rooms! Highly recommend here getting is so helpful and attentive to your needs!! Exceptional customer service will come Back here again.

A truly cool hotel near everything you want to be near in downtown Indianapolis. We were very pleased with our room and the service. I did find the $59 daily parking fee to be outrageous, but that seems to be the world in which we live. We had a very nice experience during our stay.

What closet is surprise hotel renovations are modern decently put gym not busy. We were here for a kids dance competition and convention center. It's very easy. Attached very walkable. He also had access to the executive lounge on the 31st floor stopped in for breakfast and like snack snacks after dinner they have decent salads coffee in the morning wasn't the best in my opinion, but it has great views up there on the 31st floor one stick the attached

I love all the JW hotels. This was my first time staying at this one and I had a fantastic experience. Great location for this hotel. Plenty of surrounding restaurants and athletic events around. Easy walking distance to everything downtown. Great hotel. Expensive but worth it.

Despite being very expensive (with taxes, over $300US per night, which was $425 CAD!), we stayed at the JW Marriott for Gen Con as it was not only very close to the convention center where Gen Con was being held, but there was also a walkway between the hotel and convention center. (Yes, we were willing to pay for convenience.) The JW Marriott is a lovely hotel with nice rooms, and we were in room 3036, on the 30th floor, overlooking White River State Park. So why the low rating? The goddamn NOISE. One evening, our room was SHAKING with vibrations, and our entire room was filled with the *woom woom woom* of bass. I wasn't just hearing loud music; our entire room was engulfed with noise and vibrations so great that it was painful. I called the front desk, and they said it was likely a concert from the amphitheater in White River State Park. Looking out our window confirmed there was a concert. Walking by the amphitheater the next day, I saw a sign listing of all the concerts happening during our stay, and sure enough on concert days (August 4th and 5th), our room was shaking with deafening vibrations in the evenings. Thankfully the concerts would end around 10pm, but it was impossible to relax in our room while the concerts were happening. I asked some people who were staying at the hotel but on the opposite side (not overlooking the park) if they had heard anything, and they said no. So it appears as if only the rooms overlooking the park were affected by the noise. But I wouldn't think that being on the 30th floor we'd hear anything! So for two out of six nights, it was hell. And at $300US+ a night, absolutely unacceptable -- for the price we paid, I expect quiet! Despite being a nice hotel, I will NOT stay there again, unless I am guaranteed it is not overlooking the park (and I would check the amphitheater concert schedule first!). I'm being generous giving two stars. [Yelp collections: Louisville/Indianapolis 2023; Indianapolis, IN 2023; Hotels]

For the cost and prestige that comes along with the name "JW MARRIOTT" I was both surprised and disappointed by what I found and with the fact that it took several trips to the front desk for me to get someone to come back into the room to clean and remove what was left behind. Not happy at all about feeling like I was thrown into a room without it being cleaned. I was there for a conference and came in late at night so it was extra frustrating to get up to the room and find the mess. Again, for the cost, it was very disappointing especially when I stayed at a less costly hotel the night before and it was absolutely pristine.

Definitely one of my favorite hotels in the city the rooms are really nice and have lovely views of downtown and the staff are very friendly also the gym is really good and has lots of space and many different equipment for working out I'll definitely stay again sometime in the future

I had the pleasure of attending the Women's Conference at the JW Marriott ballroom. The experience was A+. The food was like a B. The building and the amenities were definitely an A. Everything inside is gorgeous and there is definitely a fresh perfumed scent wafting through the building. I did not have a room here, but their banquet facilities are top-notch.

In room dining, breakfast.... Eggs were lumpy cold and inedible.. Turkey sausage tasted like Fake meat!

Rooms are amazing. Food service is lacking. During our last stay this is what my Room Service breakfast looked like.... Pretty pathetic for the price..

Ask the Community - JW Marriott Indianapolis

What is the self parking price per night?

I can't remember exact day rate but it's between $40-50 for self park. Huge garage and super convenient to several hotels. Easy to walk or Uber to local spots.

Hi, I'm looking for any hotel that has a large (hot tub sized)?bathtub with jets in a room. Thanks-this or any hotel around Indy or Carmel

Thank you for your inquiry but I'm afraid we don't have any jetted bathtubs at our location. We do have a whirlpool in our fitness area. Hope to be of service to you in the future.

I identified Home2 Suites by Hilton Indianapolis Downtown to stay during my weekend in Indianapolis…read morebecause of its distance from my relative, and it being near Monument Circle and the World War Memorial. Other than that, I loved that it is a Hilton hotel, and the fact that it was lower in cost by a lot once I utilized my Expedia OneKeyCash rewards. I must mention parking because it was one thing that made me selective of hotel stay in the area. At Home2 Suites, valet parking is listed at $45.00, but if you want to take a chance there are parking garages in the surrounding area which cost around the same price. I parked at the garage located within Regions Tower and paid only $50.00 overnight. And there is metered parking in the area, if you are lucky to find a spot. My experience with the receptionist working behind the counter was nothing less than professional. Since my room had already been booked through Expedia, the only thing check-in consisted of was a verification of my information, a briefing of what the hotel offers, and giving me my room key. For your information check-in starts at 3:00 PM and ends at 12:00 AM! And check-out ends at 11:00 AM! Home2 Suites, as expected, appeared immaculately beautiful! After locating and entering the room I stayed in, I said to myself "Lovely" once I took notice of the room and its kitchenet area. It came with a refrigerator, dishwasher, a sink with garbage disposal, plus cabinets with dishware and pots & pans inside. Now the furniture in the room gave the room somewhat of a homely like feel. The couch, and the carpet on the room looked like something you would see in your grandmother's house I swear, tehehe. The workspace in the room had a rollable table along with a rollable chair. And inside of the bathroom, there were liquid hygiene products inside of the shower attached to the wall. Seems like hotels are slowly doing away with the mini shampoo, bath soap, and conditioner products that make great travel hygiene additions. Along with those notable things inside of the room, it met my cleanliness standards. I had no issues whatsoever getting comfortable in the king-sized bed during my stay as my head was engulfed in-between the comfortable pillows. While utilizing the shower, I was satisfied with the water pressure of it, as well as being able to toggle with the spray patterns. Other things the room came with that I noticed were an iron, ironing board, an extra comforter, and a few lamps with electrical outlets. And the Wi-Fi internet was easy to connect to and not once did I have any connectivity issues with it during my stay. Served from 6:00 AM to 9:00 AM on weekdays, and from 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM on the weekend; it was a relief to have the complimentary breakfast because I did not have to worry about finding a restaurant in the area. Using a waffle maker for the first time ever was a fun experience I must say. Overall, I was very satisfied with the quality of what was presented for the complimentary breakfast. I would surely book with Home2 Suites by Hilton Indianapolis Downtown again due to my experience with it because the hotel met my comfort needs, and I loved that its location is within an accessible distance of things of my interest in the city of Indianapolis. ~ Good vibes coming your way ~ Thomas G

When we got into the room. The staff was super accommodating and made sure that we removed a few doors down to a room that was smoke-free. Room was a good quality. Double beds. Shower okay, no bathtub. Refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker. The only downside about the coffee maker was that the universal coffee and plastic attachments did not go with the machine. It should have been a closed environment, but it was not. Once you inserted the plastic coffee filter and place the coffee filter pod into the maker, there was a gap, which led to splashing of the hot water onto the coffee filter pod that led to coffee Bean all over the desk. Breakfast every morning. Waffles, either scrambled eggs or pre-cooked omelette, pork sausage, chicken sausage. Golden potatoes, yogurt, fruit, various breads, oatmeal, cereal, coffee, tea, hot chocolate. Pretty good size dining room as well. On the second floor. Second floor was also where the fitness center was. The floors were labeled with having vending machines on floors 4 and 7:00, but I could not find any. There was a snack area on the first floor where you could purchase snacks by scanning with self-checkout. Refrigerated items, frozen items, candy, chips, etc. The only thing the room really needed was a deep clean. Crevices and corners could have used some extra care and love. Outside of that, no complaints. Security key required to get into the hotel, as well as up the elevator.

I immediately called down a customer service and was told that they would take it off when the manager came in at eleven o'clock. I was somewhat relieved at this, so I went on with my morning and got ready and went down and waited. The manager assured me that they would not charge my card and that I had not been charged yet. After checking in, I received a text asking how everything was going, and during my stay I was able to send follow-up texts if I had questions or needed anything. In addition, I was able to borrow/sign out an umbrella one day when it was raining - there's a $25 fee if you don't return it that day, but it's a very nice service they offer. I realized I forgot a shower cap one day, too, and the front desk was able to provide me with one. Pros: -Huge and unique rooms. The building is from the late 1800s and has been repurposed into this hotel. I think my room was bigger than my first apartment! -Nice sitting area with a couch even though I had a king studio suite. Huge kitchen with full-size fridge and freezer, plus flatware and even cooking utensils. -Large bathroom area, although no bathtub, just a shower. -Free breakfast daily, and they even had almond milk and oat milk for cereal - I have to drink non-dairy milk exclusively and hotels rarely have it available. -Free cookies at front desk -The staff was super friendly, when I returned every day from the conference I was welcomed back Cons: -Very few from me, but: no safe in the room -Towels are small but that's normal for most hotels nowadays -Wifi was a little wonky - on my computer and work iPhone it was fine, and also fast, but on my Android/personal phone, texts were delayed.
