    The BEST mc/DJ crew ever!!! My husband and I have hired them as our mc/dj for our girl's first birthday event (dohl) and we were so satisfied with their performance. They definitely made the event even better and smoother! Their professionalism and dedication are NOT questionable as they prepare so many important tasks for their clients such as scheduling, song choice, games, equipment setup and more! They also provide their own high quality sound and projector systems if needed! As John fluently speaks both English and Korean, he is a perfect choice for a bilingual mc! We highly recommend John and his crew!!

    I highly recommend JYB Entertainment.My sister hired them for her wedding, and I was so impressed with their work that I decided to hire them after three years for my wedding. It turned out to be the best decision. JYB is bilingual. his proficiency in Korean and English was especially beneficial, as we had guests who spoke only one of the two languages. The games they organized were fantastic, making the wedding incredibly enjoyable for everyone. All of my guests had a wonderful time, and they only had positive things to say about JYB. Throughout the wedding planning process, JYB was extremely helpful. I booked their services a year in advance, and they were consistently responsive and willing to meet with me multiple times to discuss the details. Communication was easy, and JYB was always ready to offer valuable assistance. I cannot recommend them enough!

    If you're looking for a DJ who will take the time to understand and adapt their approach to your vision and truly put the time and effort into learning what you're looking for, JYB will be the perfect DJ for you. JYB made our wedding ONE to remember. JYB reviewed the music and games we wanted and met with us for over an hour on Zoom meetings to walk us through the ceremony and reception, patiently discussing various options and helped us think through how it would look and feel to go with one approach over another, and executed everything beautifully for the wedding. Days after, friends and family are still talking about how phenomenal the DJ was and compliment his work (and his team). He was easy to work with, and really was able to engage the guests with all the games that he put together. I think what we loved most was how attentive to the little details JYB was, which put us completely at ease. We had such a good time, and it was truly because of JYB. His experience, professionalism and calming presence kept things moving along and allowed us to be present for the festivities. We are so grateful for JYB and his team (DJ, planner and coordinator). I would recommend JYB to anyone looking for a really thoughtful, meticulous and attentive DJ. Will definitely be reaching out to JYB for any future DJ needs.

    Hands down best MC ever! John was so personable and he honestly felt like he was apart of our family. We hired JYB Entertainment for my son's 1st birthday (dohl) and I wish we would of had him for our daughter's birthday (5 years ago).     I cannot recommend John enough!! Going with John was the best decision I ever made! John was completely fluent in both Korean and English, incredibly confident and upbeat, and really knew how to make our reception fun with games and entertainment! Everyone at my wedding had so much fun at the reception, John kept all the guests engaged and laughing the entire time, and to this day, everyone keeps raving about how awesome my MC was!! TO TOP IT ALL OFF - Lots of vendors that I booked were very hands off and didn't really communicate with me until two weeks before wedding, but John went above and beyond, checking in on me, sending me helpful timelines, and keeping me on track with the things he needed from me. In the final month, I was getting confused on how I should set up the ceremony (processional, recessional, unity ceremony etc.), and my wedding coordinator wasn't too helpful because she didn't understand the Korean cultural nuances. Even though it wasn't part of his job, John was very patient and hopped on 1 hr+ calls with me several times to help me put my ceremony and reception timeline together. He gave me many recommendations on how to honor Korean parents with rose presentations, how to incorporate the sand ceremony, the order of parents/family in the processional, how to structure the toasts/speeches at specific times to keep guests engaged, etc. Seriously, during the crazy and stressful month, you have no idea how helpful this was. THANK YOU JOHN!!

The city I currently work for has very stringent requirements for contracts, insurance and workers comp policies. Fun services got me everything I needed to send to my city attorney within days of asking for it. The customer service was amazing and they were punctual at my event. We ordered: 10 carnival style booths with games 1 trackless train 1 interactive basketball inflatable 1 twenty-four foot inflatable slide 1 rock wall with 2 acro bungees They set everything up in a timely manner. I can't even continue to express how great this whole experience was. We will definitely be using Fun Services again!

On top of that, there was no new inventory to choose from. I truly feel that my 8-year-old was scammed, and I am disgusted by the predatory practices of this company. Preying on children and taking advantage of their excitement for the holidays is beyond unethical. This feels like a deliberate effort to exploit young kids and their parents for profit, and I will never support a company that operates in such a manner.

To start, she provided great organizational resources that immediately made everything feel like it was manageable, with her detailed checklist really being the backbone of this entire process for us. We really looked forward to our check-ins with her because not only were they productive, but always a collaborative effort between us and her. She always made us feel heard, and when we had an idea, nothing ever seemed impossible to execute, as she helped us figure out how to make things we wanted happen. We opted for her services about a year out from our wedding day, and through every step, check point, and to-do list item, she walked us through anything we needed and always delivered when we needed her and even above and beyond. In addition to how supportive she was throughout the planning process, she also coordinated our whole wedding day flawlessly. She thinks of how things are going to be executed seamlessly and does the work of problem solving with you beforehand so that the day goes as smoothly as possible, and that it did for us. I had previously worked with Creative Kids Parties for a Christmas party, so I decided to call them again. I was lucky enough to speak directly with the owner, Lisa. At first, she told me they didn't have those characters available, so I went ahead and booked Donald Duck and thought Minnie would be a great addition. But just a few hours later, Lisa called me back with the most incredible news -- her team was willing to create custom costumes for Pinocchio and the Blue Fairy just for my daughter's party! I was beyond excited -- truly over the moon. Lisa handled everything with such care, attention, and professionalism. She went above and beyond -- even attending the party herself to make sure everything ran smoothly. That level of dedication is rare and so appreciated. The characters -- Donald Duck and his assistants, along with Pinocchio and the Blue Fairy -- did an absolutely UNBELIEVABLE job. The kids were completely engaged, happy, and entertained the entire time. It truly felt magical. Lisa supported me so much throughout the process -- I honestly couldn't have done it without her.     I contacted this rental company based a recommendation from my fiance's cousin since they used this…read morecompany for my sister-in-law's wedding. We needed to rent tables, chairs, and 2 different size pipe & drapes for our tea ceremony. I called the company on July 12 because their website was a little confusing. I didn't know where to write what size pipe and drape we wanted. The person who answered the phone just said "Hello?" so I wasn't sure if I was calling the right place at first. I asked if it was One Call Events, and they said yes. I asked my question, and they told me to request a quote via email. I wrote out and sent the email to them immediately after I hung up with them. I provided links to the items I wanted to rent along with how many of each, as well as measurements for the pipe & drapes I wanted. I also provided the date of delivery, date of the event, and date of pickup. I didn't hear back, so I called them one week later on July 19. The woman who answered said she had read my email and would reply with a quote in the next one to two days. I waited, and still no reply. I finally sent another email on July 24 to follow up on my quote request. I received a reply back exactly 30 minutes later asking for the delivery/pickup dates that I needed (I had included it in the original email) and if we needed linens as well. I wrote back to let them know the delivery/pickup dates and that we do not need linens. I did receive a response to my email. I finally called once again on 7/26 and spoke to a woman who remembered my name and my email, and she pulled it up while I was on the phone. She told me that they were out of the white chiavari chairs and only had gold & clear left. I said clear chairs. Shortly after I finally received the quote. It only took 2 weeks, 3 phone calls, and 2 emails. I might have gone with this rental company, however based on how unprofessional they were when I was only requesting a quote, I took my business elsewhere. How can I trust them to actually show up and deliver the rented items if they can't even get me a quote without me calling and emailing them multiple times? The company I went with literally responded the very next day after I requested a quote, and even called me beforehand to double check some of the details regarding the dimensions of the pipe & drapes. Not only that, they had the chairs I wanted: SILVER chiavari chairs!! I didn't want white, I only settled because One Call Events doesn't carry silver. AND the other company is cheaper by about $258. Bottom line, DON'T GO WITH ONE CALL EVENTS!!

To clarify, the only reason I gave 2 stars instead of 1 is because yes the set up was beautiful and we had no problem with the guys that came to physically put up the rental tents. They were great, they worked really hard, this is not about them. This is specifically towards Darlene, the company coordinator/manager/owner. Darlene was quick to respond when it came to taking your money. But after the payment was made, she went MIA. She wouldn't answer several calls and texts for days. "Sorry we are really busy", no that's no excuse to not be available to a paid client especially when there are issues/questions. The day before the event, instead of showing face and apologizing for the bad communication she sends her young attitude-filled teenage daughter instead to coordinate the guys setting up. We paid for the tents with fabric, wedding chairs, table runners etc and guess what? The wedding chair cushions were DIRTY. I bring this to the attention of Darlene's daughter and she very dismissively says, "I'll bring some more tomorrow". Fine, as long as they are replaced. Darlene's daughter leaves before the set up is complete, and we realize that they did not bring the table runners. We call and text Miss teenage attitude, no answer. The set up guys claim "maybe this fabric left behind is supposed to be the table runner", but after inspecting it we realize the dirty and torn fabric is actually for the tents not the tables. Again, tried to contact Darlene to advise her that our items are missing. No answer. She finally calls the day of the wedding and claims the fabric is the table runner. No it isn't! The fabric was clearly for the tents not the tables. And she says they will not be coming back to replace the dirty seat cushions. SO UNPROFESSIONAL! She did reimburse for the missing/dirty items but that doesn't change the fact that the items were delivered like that, terrible service and that the communication was almost zero. You can imagine how this made the bride feel on her big day. I do NOT recommend this company, they will give you a headache, stress, anxiety over bad communication and deliver dirty items.. or just not deliver some items altogether! Do yourself a favor, go somewhere else.

She scheduled check-ins with us to help keep us on track and reduce stress as much as possible. She coordinated with all of our other vendors to make sure all the different teams were on the same page. Kimberly was the glue that held our big day together and without her, our big day wouldn't have gone nearly as smoothly without her. What really stood out was how much she cared--Kimberly treated our wedding like it was her own. She came prepared with solutions to any issues that came up and always kept our budget in mind. Her suggestions were always thoughtful and curated towards what she knew about us as a couple. She never suggested or pressured us to go in any specific direction, and wanted to always make us feel comfortable in our choice. If there was any opportunity for her to alleviate our stress or take some coordination/work off our plate, she always offered to step in and take over. She truly went above and beyond every step of the way. On the day of - Kimberly ran the entire show seamlessly. From the photo booth to our ice cream bar, she coordinated it all while making sure the rest of the reception went smoothly. All of our activities and scheduled items moved along without skipping a beat. We're so thankful for everything she did to make our day stress-free and unforgettable. She thought of the little things that I didn't even think of. Like pins in case something happens to my dress and a tide to go. On the day of, she had everything planned so that I wouldn't have to worry about anything. I was able to have fun and no one bothered me that day. My wedding even had 2 extra people show up that weren't invited, but Kim was able to figure out the seating without having to ask me. I would highly recommend her for anyone planning a wedding.
