River Valley dark Park
Paul R.

Another weekend spreading River Valley Dark Bark from K&A Landscape. can't say enough good things about this place. Awesome selection of landscape material and very friendly and courteous employees and awesome Owner. Our only source for landscape materials, they can deliver whatever you need from River Rock, pea gravel, topsoil or bark and everything in between. Save yourself the hassle going anywhere else! The also carry our favorite decorative rock called "Salt & Pepper" which (I think) is a blue basalt and white agate combo that looks unreal against any driveway or walkway.

Rock with pea and mud

Don't use!! I Ordered 3 yards of "Washed 5/8 minus" at $42 per yard plus $75 delivery and was delivered 5/8 with sand and dirt

I decided have had at least 7-10 loads of topsoil, gravel and sand delivered for a lawn, parking area overhaul.

Lovely decorated Christmas trees for the season (I liked the candy-themed one), abundant Christmas decor and ornaments, as well as kitchen and of course plants and gardening tools. A range of prices. Located just off a main road on the Federal Way side (but also shows up as Auburn address, both are okay as far as I know). Has parking. We went for a holiday mixer. The staff was fabulous. Friendly and helpful. The space was welcoming. They had drinks and snacks on offer. I was pretty impressed that the drinks were given in real glasses! A classy affair.

I went to this nursery with my wife over the weekend not knowing a single thing about gardening. We wanted to spruce up our patio but have had a bad history with plants as they always seem to perish before they bloom. We were approached by Mr Rick outside in the garden area and were asked if we needed assistance. Not only did he take the time to explain to us what might work best for us he also gave us plenty of options when it came to budget. You can tell that Mr Rick truly loves his work and is passionate about this nursery. Now, not only is Watson's beautiful but the prices are very very reasonable. The selection is huge and they even had some more exotic plants. The entire experience made this new adventure worthwhile for my wife and I. Also, if you see Mr Hobbs, give him a nice belly rub.

Even though it was a weekday morning and there were still a few parking spots available, the place was already busy with customers. The greenhouse was filled with beautiful hanging flower baskets everywhere, creating such a colorful and cheerful atmosphere. Most of the baskets were priced around $35-$45, and of course I ended up finding one I absolutely loved and bought it. I also picked up some locally harvested honey while I was there. Before leaving, I made sure not to forget the organic seeds I originally came for: zucchini mix, mixed salad greens, sprout mix, and herb mix. This is always one of my favorite places for gardening inspiration, seasonal flowers, and local products.

I know they get swamped, but maybe it's time to find space for some more registers and staff. The main reason I go there now is for the huge heads of lettuce and cauliflower. They're getting less and less worth my time. Yesterday, I went for the first time this season. They overcharged me (or mismarked the plants on the racks) and they charged me for things that didn't make it into my cart. The old double whammy. As they get more expensive, they get less worthwhile.
