That being said...I LOVE this place. I got a Southern Magnolia from this place 5 years ago and it is growing like a weed and still going strong. I have planted several Magnolias from places like Home Depot and Lowes and they were dead in less than a year. I have since bought several plants from here and never have had an issue with any of them. I am going back this week to get another Magnolia for my new house. Can't wait. I found this botanical garden out of chance on a Sunday afternoon because my family wanted…read moresomewhere to walk around. Anyway, I didn't know this garden was located in the empty Weyerhaeuser building area. You should know that the garden is divided into two sections: the bonsai section is 100% donation. The other side, which contains all the Rhododendron plants, requires admission fees. I visited the garden expecting it to fully bloom in different color schemes like the Botanical Garden at the UW area, but everything was in green color. My husband mentioned that we'd need to revisit this garden but in the spring time, when the flowers would fully bloom then. Check out my photos for the garden view. I enjoyed the Bonsai section because we got to see the carpentry art from a dude, who basically built everything from wood sticks. The exhibit was cool to look at, in addition to the Bonsai tree collection displays. Now, I want a Bonsai tree myself!

The greenhouse was filled with beautiful hanging flower baskets everywhere, creating such a colorful and cheerful atmosphere. Most of the baskets were priced around $35-$45, and of course I ended up finding one I absolutely loved and bought it. I also picked up some locally harvested honey while I was there. Before leaving, I made sure not to forget the organic seeds I originally came for: zucchini mix, mixed salad greens, sprout mix, and herb mix. This is always one of my favorite places for gardening inspiration, seasonal flowers, and local products.

No one had it but Zenith took my information and said they should have them in the spring. I never expected to hear from them again BUT they called. Let me know they had arrived, how big they were and the cost. When I went to pick them up I wondered the grounds and gift shop and they have a wonderful selection of indoor & outdoor plants, tools, accessories, and gift shop items. I left with a few more things than I intended. The staff is friendly and helpful and plants and pots were reasonably priced.

My Husqvarna MZ-61 Zero-Turn Mower blew it's drive belt. To be honest, we normally have that mower…read moreserviced/repaired by another company - PSR. But, after unsuccessfully trying to contact them and a drive-by their location, I conclude they're out-of-business. Back when we lived in Auburn, several years ago, Agrishop was our go-to. So we called upon them again for this repair. Luckily, they fit us in, quickly picked the machine, did the repair with a full service and we had it back a few days later - and for a very competitive price! I had specified that all belts should be replaced; but, the tech found the deck belt to be brand new and recommended against replacing it - he saved me $$! And let me say this: every person we talked to, including the very fine gentleman who picked up and delivered the machine, were all very professional, kind, considerate and helpful. Agrishop did a great job, at a great price, they even saved me money, and the turn-around was quick, easy and effortless on my part. I'd give 'em 10-stars if I could!
