These guys are very old fashion with a new fashion type of thinking......... First off I called several places and they were nasty on the phone. Then I called K & K and they had that old fashion idea on the phone made me feel like I was at home. For you coupon people they will tell you to print out their $29.95 coupon so you can save right off the bat and if you forget to print it out they will assist you when you get there and scan it for you. I did not go there for the coupon I went there because of the customer service and believe me they do not deserve a 5 star rating they should get 100 stars one for each percentage point. It's been one day and I have told at least 5 people to go there so they can be treated right. Their smog check is very fast and then I went to the Culver City DMV to use the fast check out for my registration tags so all and all it was less they one hour to complete the transaction ................. read more

The service is fast. However, leaving feeling as though you've been bamboozled is not the mark of good service. With only one person ahead of me, I was ushered in to do the paperwork of name, address and registration, then told to sit in the waiting room while the test was done. A few minutes later, I was told it was done, and came out to pay. I pulled out the coupon--the reason I chose this station--and he made a face. I asked, "Do you not do coupons?" He answered, "Yes, but it's too late, I already entered the amount, and I can't change it." Because that would mean having to go in and change a line on the computer, and print out a new receipt. Lets be clear, in order to use a coupon, you cannot give the coupon at payment time, but must present as you walk in? But it does not say that anywhere on the coupon. Nice racket. I'd say skip this spot and choose a business that'll deal with you honestly and respectfully. read more

I just experienced the rudest, most unprofessional behavior by the man working at K&K SMOG (Sunday 10/2/16 around noon), so feel the need to warn others. After a busy morning of errands I pulled in for my last stop, SMOG check. The man behind the desk peered at me for several minutes before he approached my car. I asked for a SMOG check and he told me to come back in 30 minutes because he just sat down for lunch! Really??? Anyone living in Venice knows how bad traffic is on Lincoln avenue and this rude man wants me to come back in 30 minutes? I asked again politely if he could please do it then, and got the same answer, "I can't do it now, I am eating my lunch, you'll have to come back" he then turns around abruptly walks back to his desk to stuff his face while he loses business. Website states open until 3:00 pm on Sundays, not closed during lunch hours. Waste of my time! Completely unprofessional and rudest man ever- I will NEVER go back there - AWFUL customer service!!! read more

Found a coupon online for $30 off. Turns out they charge more than anyone else, so with the 30 bucks off, it comes out as the same as anyone else. I don't get it how some people claim they only pay $40 with the coupon. IF that's so, I got ripped off. 2 cars got there after I did and the tech, who is all by himself, finished them before he finished mine. I waited around for almost an hour for him to release my car because it was on the dynamometer and I HAD to wait. Not happy! read more

My 2000 Blazer needed a smog check and I saw on yelp the price with $30 off coupon was $40 out the door. Drove in today (monday) at 2:30pm and was out by 2:40pm. Needed to do a smog to get the DMV tags, I notice that my registration notice required Smog certification Only at a certified Star Station which my previous station is not. Found K&K online near bye, drove over and got it done quickly, spoke to the owner Ali regarding this new Star Station requirement, he explained that to qualified for a Star Station the owner has to have a very clean record regarding State citations, he was very helpful. read more
