We used to go to this place back when it first opened and the food was delicious. Fast forward lots of years later their food is still just as we remembered DELICIOUS !!! I ordered the Combonation fried rice,my husband likes the PHO soup and dumplings,my daughter had the grilled chicken with dipping sauce With macaroni salad and a side of rice. We all thought our meal was fantastic thank you !

Wow what a find! This place is amazing, and the people running it are so friendly and prompt. We tried the Bao, delicious little dumplings filled with pork, and the Spam musubi which is spam and rice wrapped in seaweed. Trust and believe me when I tell you to get this, its incredible. My entree was the Grilled mahi-mahi (comes with rice, macaroni salad). The fish was perfectly tender, moist and seasoned well. I am so thrilled to have found this cute little place tucked inside a strip mall. I will definitely be back if I am in the area again.

So I'm a Chicago girl and Springfield food is ummmm.... different and my overall experience has been mixed. With that said, I wouldn't scrutinize a Springfield place at the same level as a Chicago one. I ordered from this place via Grubhub, my food was quickly prepared and they followed the order notes too. I had the crab rangoon, which were filled with a lot of crab meat and they had a nice light texture while being crispy (4.25/5). I also had the curry fried shrimp, they were good, came with macaroni salad and white rice. The sauce was not warm and didn't have a ton of flavor. The fried shrimp were good, well breaded and seasoned, but I would've liked something else to go with him, the overall meal was kind of bland; however, if you like fried shrimp (just by themselves) I would still suggest ordering (3.5/5). My fave of the meal was the steak Hawaiian fried rice. I ordered mine spicy. It was a nice sized portion, it had egg, onion, tomato, and a pineapple on top. There was a nice portion of steak in the rice, which I was surprised by (in a good way); the meat was well flavored and pretty tender and was good just by itself. I do wish they would have put some cut pineapple stir fried in the rice (maybe you can ask for that) and I enjoyed my rice with a side of teriyaki sauce sprinkled on top to add the sweet note to the rice (I highly suggest this too BTW!) (5/5). Overall, I enjoyed my food and would definitely go back! It will be one of my go-to's when I'm visiting!

Chicken Pho was good. It was very light and simple. It was my first time trying it. My friend said the chicken fried rice was good but he wishes it was more filling. The staff was extremely nice and considerate. The place itself was a bit congested and dim but other than that fine.

We're from out of the area so to find good food while out here is really awesome. This is the first Asian food place I've been to with a menu consisting of Chinese, Hawaiian, Korean, Thai and Vietnamese dishes. Thank goodness, because on the road you settle for the food chains too often, but having a place like this really keeps my stomach happy! Clean facilities

Exactly as expected....stopped in yesterday at lunch to meet up with an old friend. The food was average, the service was average to good, the atmosphere is closer to a cafeteria than a restaurant; all of which I full expected. I ordered the Chicken Katsu and Portuguese Sausage Fried Rice (to split with my party of three). The chicken was cooked properly but it was bargain bin, super thin zero flavor chicken; once covered in hot sauce it was decent. The sides with the Katsu were white rice, pasta salad and a slice of pineapple. Rice (good), pasta salad (horrible), pineapple (great). Onto the fried rice; actually quite good and had enough left for dinner. All in all, I personally would not go back but I am extremely picky with my Asian cuisine (unlike my Mexican/Hispanic) and it needs to be top notch to get a return visit from me!

Love the Thai food here! Comfortable atmosphere, friendly staff and it's very affordable. I like their Pho bowl better than anywhere else in town. They have a huge menu with so many options!

It's not especially Hawaiian nor especially BBQ. But it is delicious. Best pho in town. Great selection.

Food is just so so. Portions are meager. But prices are those of a sit down white napkin experience.

I visited Boyd Generation Cafeteria today and had a disappointing experience from start to finish…read more The young lady who took my order at the drive-thru was polite and professional -- she was honestly the only bright spot of the visit. But when I got home and started going through my food, I realized something was off. I noticed what I thought was an extra dessert in a flimsy plastic container, but when I looked closer, it turned out my baked dark meat chicken was missing -- the main part of my order. I called twice. No answer. Straight to voicemail. Voicemail was full. So I drove all the way back, tried to go inside -- doors locked. Got back in the drive-thru line and explained the issue. Then the woman who I assume was the owner or head cook came to the window, and instead of addressing my concern professionally, she hit me with sarcasm and attitude -- as if I was out of line for coming back for food I paid for. She insisted she personally packed the chicken and tried to make it seem like I was the problem. When I mentioned there was a container in the bag that looked like pie, she snapped that they didn't serve sweet potato pie that day. Eventually, she handed me what looked like a pie container and told me to open it. Sure enough, it was the chicken -- but it was so dry and shriveled, no wonder I mistook it for a slice of pie. At that point, I told her flat-out: I'm never coming back. To that woman -- if you're reading this -- your behavior was unprofessional, your customer service was dismissive and hostile, and your food wasn't even worth the trip. Mistakes happen, but instead of owning it, you doubled down with attitude and dry chicken in a dessert container. Word of advice: stop assaulting your chicken. Inject it with something buttery, juicy, and respectful before putting it out in the world. Because nobody wants to eat food that looks and tastes like regret. I will not be returning, and I'll be warning others to stay far away.

Among the four of us, two ordered the Texas Style Beef Brisket Platter ($27.99), and two ordered the Pulled Pork Platter ($21.49). I had the brisket with my two sides being baked beans and Mac n cheese. The interior is open air with mostly booths and a bar in the middle. I imagine it can become a little noisy when it's filled with people, but we had arrived early so there wasn't any issues with noise. Our server was polite and friendly. She put the coffee on fresh for us. She checked on us several times during our meal. I loved my brisket. It was tender and moist and very good! I added some sauce to my plate for dipping. There were 4 sauces to choose from, but the two I enjoyed were the Mustard BBQ, and the Chipotle BBQ. Both had some heat which added some great flavors to the brisket. The others all enjoyed their orders as well. Mom loved her pulled pork, and she had a great time. We all went home where cake, ice cream, presents and birthday cards awaited her. Thanks Smokey Bones for helping make Mom's birthday special! 5 stars!
