Sushi pizza
Joe H.

I randomly pulled into this parking lot to search Yelp for lunch. Luckily, I was already here. I had a Spider Roll and a Sushi Pizza. The roll was perfect. Fresh, tasty and not greasy. The pizza was super unique and delicious. Looks nice inside. The service was A+. Im coming back to try the rest of their sushi specials.

I got takeout from here and I thought the food was ok, but not great. I got a chirashi, Thai chicken curry, and 3 sushi rolls. They messed up one of my sushi rolls. So that wasn't great. The other items were fine, but again, just pretty average. Lunch specials are around $15. The restaurant is in a strip mall. So plenty of parking available.

We shared these two dishes between 3 people, and it was just enough for us. The sushi and sashimi were very fresh and high quality. If you want an individual plate, I recommend getting the Chirashi, but it was also nice to have some sushi rolls with the platter (volcano and dragon roll). Nigiri was alright. There was just a lot of rice. My family did takeout from here, but I think it is better to sit at the restaurant. I'm sure it is the same portion, but it just looks like there's more because of the more aesthetic plating.

This is the best sushi I've had in a long time. The freshness, quality, and size are all amazing. I ordered the 2 lunch roll. Spicy tuna and spicy salmon with soup and salad. I was stuffed and saved my soup and salad for dinner. Quick and friendly service.

The unique combo of a full sized buffet with extra yummy food you can order in one all you can eat price was great. I've been to restaurants where it's all you can eat and you order fresh food and all you can eat buffets, but never one restaurant that has both options. We were amazed at the selection and can't wait to go back to try some of the other food you could order from the menu. There are far too many options we wanted to try to eat in one trip. The food was all delicious. They had smaller portions on this buffet than you normally see, which (along with the containers they used) seemed to keep the food very fresh. The decor is beautiful and the robot was such a fun touch. It delivered a mini birthday cake to a woman at a neighboring table, to go orders, and the check/fortune cookies. Our waiter also offered to take our picture with the robot cat & the tree. We had a great time & look forward to retuning.

The inside is pretty big and there's large tables that are good for groups. I did make a reservation online ahead of time. It's surprisingly nice and upscale inside for a buffet. They have a huge variety of options including dim sum, American Chinese food, Chinese food, sushi, and hibachi! You order the sushi and hibachi from your server at your table and the rest you can get on your own. We were happy with the variety and quality and I would go again! Make sure to save room for dessert because there's a bunch of different ice cream and cake options!

We didn't see much of the inside because we chose the option to enjoy our meal outside in the garden. Fortunately, we were able to snag a 5:30 PM reservation a couple Fridays ago. My friend set up notification alerts on Resy and a different party canceled their reservation the day before. This restaurant is very popular. KHAO YUM - 24 This is a 17 ingredient salad with tamarind dressing. I'm not usually a salad person, but this one was incredibly delicious and refreshing. Lots of crispy textures from the various vegetables, some juicy, tart and bitter pieces of grapefruit, and the crispy rice was the perfect fried carb on top. A bit pricy, but a great app to share for the whole table. CRISPY SHRIMP - 32 We were each able to get two pieces of shrimp among the four of us. The shrimp was batter and fried with a sweet garlicky glaze. While it was crispy and juicy, I thought it was a bit too saucy. It wasn't my favorite, but one of my friends really enjoyed the shrimp -- sauce and all. KHAO SOI - 48 The red and yellow curry was flavorful, and the egg noodles were perfectly soft with a bit of chew. The wagyu beef cheek was tender, but there wasn't much in it. Overall, I thought this was a bit too overpriced for what it was. MASSAMAN CURRY - 48 Incredibly phenomenal The massaman curry was incredibly rich with its sweet and savory flavor. Each order came with a whole lamb shank. The meat was incredibly tender and flavorful -- it fell off the bone with ease. I highly recommend this entree for its delicious curry and lamb. Overall, pricy food with a elegant aesthetic. It's also more of fusion Thai food than it is authentic. Can definitely see why this is one of the more popular and well-loved restaurants in Pittsburgh!

For dessert we had the mango, sticky rice, and coconut ice cream which may be my new favorite dessert. Looking forward to our next visit!

The Good: -Consistently delicious food -Multiple cuisines to choose from -Generous portion sizes -Unbelievably low cost -Kind and gracious customer service -Very clean The Bad: -They close at 8pm The Beautiful: I mistakenly ordered a dish without noodles when I meant to order a noodle dish. They were kind enough to cook me up some noodles even though they were about to close. They were very gracious to me when they could have told me it was my fault and sent me away. They stayed a little later to help me get the meal I wanted. I would never have asked this of them, but they insisted. This is very typical of the customer service I've experienced there. Just very lovely people offering good food at good prices to the local community. I wouldn't really call this a supper club to be honest but the place definitely carries a house music bar vibe and the back bar area and seating is very dimly lit, perfect for cozying up and enjoying a drink late night. The ladies' room was so dark, I mistook it for a storage area because I could only make out a white ladder in the corner that was being used as cute shelving. The place is seat yourself. Our waiter was not super friendly and didn't offer to give us napkins or anything when our wobbly table caused our drinks to splash all over the place. The cook served our chicken with a big smile and happy interaction and we really loved his personality. The bartender also stopped by to bus our table and he was very pleasant as well. We enjoyed the perfectly fried small plate cauliflower with the plum sauce and the fried cheese/garlic wonton bites with the sriracha mayo spicy dipping sauce. The fried chicken breast on the large plate was slightly overcooked with a maple gochuchang sauce that was very bland. We were so thankful that the large plate fried chicken came with a side salad to offer some respite from the heaviness of the fried dishes. It would have been great to have some side acidic or fresh vegetable options like Kimchi or something. Maybe we tried the wrong dishes and there are other not fried things that are delicious? The dirty martini cocktail was just so-so, not really much flavor at all, but the mojito was very good and refreshing. It's probably a good late-night place for a bite and drink.
