I purchased a car from them less than a year ago, and it has been in the shop twice already. The second time I took it in for a single engine code, when I got it back after paying them to fix it, it had more lights on than it had when I dropped it off. After taking it to a different mechanic, I was informed that during the "repairs", that my ECU had been damaged. The service manager charged me for replacing a K&N permanent air filter that I did not request, misdiagnosed it, and after damaging the vehicle even more, called to tell me that I would need to take it somewhere else and then charged me $275. The vehicle has had less than 10k miles put on it since purchasing it from them, and it will now cost as much as they sold it to me for to repair it, which is not covered under the warranty I was sold with the vehicle. Overall, avoid this place like the plague, unless you have excess money to fix the crap they sell. read more

Eventhough we bought "As-Is" they fixed the clutch on the vehicle after our purchase. K Town cars was recommended to us by our mechanic. We had been seeing K Town since living in Kannapolis but never stopped in. When I went on the lot, a man leaving in a car asked if he could help me. I told him what I was looking for and he said take a look at that car parked in front of the light poll. He also told me to go into the office and ask for a key. I got the key; looked at the car; loved the car. While test driving, I took it to my mechanic and he liked the car. I took it to my wife and she loved the car. Then I went by my bank and they said "no dice". Chris took my information when I took the car back.
