This is not a budget friendly experience, but it is fun and worth the money! And if you listen to my tips, you can get some deals! Tips: -look for Groupons -check their website for deals -ask family members for gift cards to K1 when birthdays and holidays come around -sign up with your birthday for a free birthday race What I love is that they have junior races and adult races so kids can race without the competitiveness of the adults. My son is 7 but the height of an adult (5'1) so I was happy he was able to have a blast with the kids his age without feeling like the biggest kid in the group, as is the case with bounce gyms and such. I raced with the adults and again, so glad I had my son do the junior race because I got hit hard by another racer! So I say when in doubt, out the kids in junior, even if they make the height requirement. Especially because the junior cars only reach a max speed of 35 and when everyone has their helmets on adults, can't tell who is the kid and who's not. Price per da e is around $25 plus every year you have to get the $8 membership. But with a deal you could have two riders for less than $45. Plus

Really fun experience if you like to go FAST! You could go slow, but why?!!! Awesome facility with cool decor and several arcade games to play. We went on a Tuesday evening and the place was fairly empty (the perk of having your date night in the middle of the week), so we didn't have to wait long for our races to be called up. The staff isn't that friendly or enthusiastic. We paid ahead through their website, but was told once we got there that we have to pay tax because the website doesn't know where you're purchasing from?! Sounded a bit fishy to me, especially since the young man that helped us didn't quite seem to know what he was doing. We showed him the confirmation email and he kept asking for the actual receipt...our credit card info was right there. I think this is the receipt, sir! The package we got came with a t-shirt and they had several to choose from, but they were out of many of them. The spill went a bit like "adult sizes are available for numbers 12-22 and 25, but we're out of 15, 16, 18, 19 and 21." I don't recall the actual #s, but it ended up being slim pickings! I would suggest not purchasing that package until you know which style of shirt you want and if it is available. My fiance said that he read somewhere about their cleanliness protocols (maybe on the website) and it said that they sanitize the helmets after each race. This isn't the case at all. We didn't observe them sanitize them at all and we had two races and stuck around to play games afterwards. We even asked one staff member if we should hand in the helmets for sanitizing and he told us to just set them back on the shelf and they would "figure it out later." The concession area has beer and wine on the menu, but we were told that they didn't have any wine. Also, still not sure about their scoring for the races.....I was lapping people AND my fiance stayed in my rearview the entire first race, but he somehow outranked me?! The math isn't mathing. LOL Sidenote: They have a really nice winner's podium for photo ops.

DOG SHIT. Waited for an hour to race on go carts that weren't even that fast. Over hyped. Would not recommend. They took away the fries and you can no longer buy french fries. Never coming back Edit. You know what. Racing was fun. Over priced though. (Note: i made the review before i actually raced.

K1 Speed was SOOO MUCH FUNNNN!!! I know this is a late review, but i wanted to express how amazing and incredibly helpful this place was for me! I was planning a surprise birthday party for my best friend and I had invited about 12 people. I highly recommend you to make a reservation. In order to rent out the entire track for your party you need to at least have 12 people. I had to put my card on file in case if someone cancels the day before the event. They will let you know if someone does cancel, you are responsible for paying their admission fee for holding that time slot. I was working with the event manager for the whole entire event and last minute five people canceled on me the day of the party. I was in tears because I was stressing out about that cancellation fee for each person that had canceled day of . Luckily the manager was so sweet and told me I just want you guys to have a good time, they took care of the rest so that I could enjoy the birthday party that I had planned with less stress. They didn't have to do that, but they did and it was so accommodating and it made the night 10 times better. Believe me I was in tears, imagine inviting 12 people and five people cancel on you the day of. That sucks. Regardless I had a great time, I rented out the party room and that ran me about $100+. You can also do a party pack where they will bring out pizza and soda for you but I didnt do that since people cancelled. Regardless my best friend had an amazing time and I think everyone else did as well. Thank you so much K-1 Speed for making that event 10 times better!!!!

We went here for my husband's bday--what a treat! It's not cheap, but it's a fun date night. For about $20 a race (give or take depending on your package), you can take an 8-12 min lap around if you dare! I would imagine this place would be ideal for bday or work parties where you can get more bang for your buck. In a post-covid world, I would definitely do that!

My partner and his friends decided to go Go Karting after brunch. I was too full, but had fun watching them race. They each spent $50+ for the race. They were attended right away. We had to wait an hour for their turn. What I liked about this location was that there were different things to do while we waited. They have a full on snack and alcohol stand. You can order pizza, nachos, fries etc. Along with your drink. Their couches were comfortable and I noticed they had a couple of back massaging chairs. They only had a couple of arcade games, pool table, and air hockey. We did not play the games, but it was good to know there were things to do while one waited. The space is massive and quite fun to be inside. There were a couple car displays and other race car art. I highly recommend for large groups.

Even though this place is pretty expensive at first glance, the experience is truly next level. I was in town visiting my children and they've never been. My oldest has dreams of racing nascar and wanted to get started in karts. They offer full metrics for lap time, point standings and best of week times. They offer beer and wine for the non-driving adults as well as a solid food menu and snacks for the kids. They offer junior carts for kids up to 56" and full speed adult karts. All electric. 10-12 laps per race

Okay, mistakes happen. I wasn't happy but they accommodated (after I told them I would not move the party because the invites were already sent and they contacted me 1 week prior). Then, we arrive at 2:45 (party was at 3). They said they would get our party host and get us to our space. At 3:00, guests started arriving and we were still waiting for our party host in the lobby. Mind you, still holding the cake and all our stuff to decorate, etc. I rejoined the line because I'm not waiting any longer at this point. Finally talk to someone at 3:04. And at that time, a girl walks in on her phone. Our party host . Then we get to our space and she couldn't find the light switch to turn on the lights, doesn't have the socks, doesnt have wrist bands, doesn't have the list of waivers, I could go on. The kids didn't get to play until like 3:45. Then they were called back for pizza and cake. And to top off the day, they made us leave at 4:30 as scheduled. I was embarrassed and pissed. I will mention to keep this story completely truthful, they gave us $60 off our bill of $300. Thanks..?

I will admit that the food is a bit on the pricey end but oh well. The pizza is good though. They have a private parking lot there, but it gets packed during peak hours. I came on a Saturday afternoon and ended up parking in the lot across the street. You must have their socks to participate in the fun. Everyone must also fill out a waiver and spectators must also pay to enter the slide area (which is different from other similar parks that I have been to. To save time, I recommend completing the waiver online. The place was very chaotic when I was there. There was kids all over the place. The lines for the slides did move relatively quickly though. The staff there, from top to bottom is very friendly, helpful and welcoming. I was very impressed, especially considering that they deal with screaming kids all day. Great job to them and whoever does the hiring. For those having a party there, you are giving a dedicated table with a server. The party area is in an open fenced off area. They do not have party rooms. There are a few places in the play area for caregivers to sit while the little play, but those places few and far between. The slides there are awesome. They are huge and some can appear a bit intimidating. I wish I had a place like this when I was little. They also have a small zip line, a two basketball courts. There is also an area for little kids to play as well. I really like this places vibe. It is relatively clean and trendy, with big murals all over the walls. I sure hope that the Greenwood location, that they have been talking about for years opens soon. Either way, I am sure that I will be back to this place very soon.

I filled out the waiver forms that my best friend sent me in advance as she paid for me. A little background, I'm a parent of a 5 year old with autism who needs to be watched at all times. My best friend was aware so she told me I'd be ok being with him. When my family arrived and went to check in for the party the young lady checking us in gave me a wrist band and socks for my son. I tried to put it on him, but he refused because it's a sensory thing. I told her that I will wear it as he will never not be out of my reach and she told me no. I put it on my wrist anyway, because I'm going to keep my son from any unnecessary behaviors. Then I asked about my pair of socks and she gave me a wrist band that stated I was just a spectator and told me I cannot go with him down the slide. Well my intention is not to go down the slide with him, but I would assist him getting to the slides. Met with another no. After that, I was over it and just walked to the party and let my husband take him to the soft play area. I did inform my best friend about, but at that time I was over it and didn't want to ruin my god-daughters party. I don't know, the overall experience left me frustrated.

The indoor area has certainly gotten some upgrades - great for the all-year-round crew, for sure. The most confusing thing about the arcade is that it uses a credit system that varies largely from game to game on what it's going to cost you and what it's likely to pay out. I'm sure this is the whole point of them taking your money -- the house always wins -- but I'd prefer to know how much one credit really cost me and how much a game really is. The fine print states that we do not offer rain checks or refunds due to weather." I expressed my disappointment, as I feel it's unrealistic and unscrupulous to expect most customers to read fine print on the wall before purchasing tickets. In my opinion, businesses like this should consider more customer-friendly policies, especially when a significant portion of their attractions are uncovered and entirely dependent on the weather. While others may have their own opinions, I personally won't support a business that lacks flexible policies for paying customers when their offerings are so easily affected by conditions beyond anyone's control.
