Great area to chill while waiting to race (or just here to watch)
    Debbie F.

I was just a spectator while my husband raced. I have been to a handful of K1's and this by far is the nicest location. This facility has a large seating area to hang out while waiting to race. There are comfy couches, tables, and bar style seats available. There is also a game area in the front. The main attraction....racing the track. This is the cleanest, most well maintained track. The staff was even cleaning between races when we were there. It wasn't crowded at the time we went, so it was nice to see. This track had lots of turns and looked quite technical. The karts looked new and clean. My husband enjoyed his races here. We were there during off times so there was no wait to race. However, like all the other locations we've been to, you can wait hours to race. A race lasts 12 laps and are limited to "x" carts per race. It's a popular activity so expect to wait a while during peak times.

Dooope, loved coming here. The place was very clean and so was the track. What I normally find is pieces and parts of the old tires in the seats and they stick to my clothes after I leave. But not here. Watt who works here was very helpful. They have very well maintained karts and are very responsive. The turning is heavy but is perfect for karting. Staff is friendly and as soon as i walked in all of them were cleaning. The place looks great and they are helpful showing you the track line.

I've always been a fan of car racing and this is probably the closest I'll ever come to being a professional race car driver. After a safety briefing, I was assigned a car, strapped in and directed to the track, where the fun began. The car drove much faster than I had anticipated and the size of the track was larger than I initially thought. The track wasn't crowded, which allowed drivers to pass slower drivers. I found the car extremely easy to maneuver and very comfortable. The facility is clean, well organized and big enough to accommodate large groups. Guest safety is definitely a top priority, which, I appreciated. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and understands the importance of providing good customer service. This is definitely an activity that can be enjoyed by the entire family. I'd recommend visiting on a weekday when it's less crowded.

Inside seating to wait for race

I think it's a little crazy that even though we paid full price we are not allowed to finish all 12 laps just because a bunch of try hard men finished faster than us. We came here to celebrate our friend getting married and thought it would be a fun experience. It wasn't super busy on a Saturday we waited about 20 mins for our race. We did notice the same 3 guys kept racing in every race. They had all their own helmets and gloves and kept telling the workers "I don't want to drive that car. I want that one" and would switch until they found the one they liked best. Fast forward to our race and it's these 3 guys, us 4, and a father/son. By the way the steering wheel can be adjusted and so can the seat. Just ask for help. They let everyone on the track very slowly until everyone is out and moving and then the cars are then switched on and you are now going full speed compared to 5 miles before. The track is small so it's mainly tight turns and the wheel is not light; it takes effort to turn it. The issue all 4 of us had was these 3 guys and the father of that duo kept slamming into us to pass us yet we would get flagged telling us we had to allow passing. We would try to pull over to the side and go the speed we were comfortable with but the guys would then pass on both sides ping ponging us and yet we kept getting flagged. It was not enjoyable and just frustrating. The guys obviously finished before us and they then slow the cars down when the race is ending but if you're far from the entrance back to the rows they speed you up to get you over to drive back into the rows. Once we got back we were emailed our race results and that's where we discovered we didn't get to do all 12 laps and only 9. I can somewhat understand that you need to get the next race going but it just seems unfair to pay full price and not get to race all 12 laps. Also that these guys who obviously take the racing very seriously are grouped with regular drivers and first time drivers. If anything you should be told you may not finish all the laps if everyone else finishes before you do you don't expect all 12 laps.

I went a few months ago doing the group racing package. Overall it was 2 races (prelim and finals) and you get a racing car trophy. Checkin was easy and the race was not bad. You get a sheet outlining your race results after the race. The carts were fine. I think the helmets probably need a good cleaning as that's the gross part of racing. We had a decent time there.

Fun experience but I waited like two hours just to race. The food is pretty good and the arcade. But the go karts go a little fast

While we've always thought the prices were high for what it is, this year, the prices for the experience was truly not worth it. They offer various packages, 1 hour, 3 hour, or unlimited. We've done all the options in the past, but this time we opted for the hour wristband as we arrived later in the evening ~ 7pm on a Friday night. We wanted her to have time inside too to play in the arcades. Time doesn't start until your first scan for a race or ride. They conveniently scanned us in for our first race and we were seated, in our car, for a solid 10 mins while they sorted out other drivers and go-karts. We got sick from exhaust blowing in our face as we sat there with all the cars running yet not moving. When we finally started the race, it was less than 5 minutes! Half of the cars were either dysfunctional or set to a slow setting with no rhyme or reason. Our next race, our daughter was so excited she is tall enough to try the sprinter car on her own (58in) so we went to check that out. We waited 10 mins for a race to finish then the worker told us she could only fit 8 racers despite there being 15+ cars. So we had to wait another round. Another 20+ mins gone. Half an hour in, we only had 2 races in. In total, we were able to get 5 races in the hour time frame (one of which was past our time limit, but the worker let us go anyway). We have been going to Mini Grand Prix for years and this was the worst experience by far. The races are shorter, the lines are longer, the wrist bands are more expensive and the facilities have not been updated. Our daughter, on her own told us, it's not the same anymore : (

The main issue is the value for money. We paid around $300 for 5 laps, but 2 of those are essentially warm-up laps, so you don't really get the full driving experience. On top of that, the instructor constantly limits your speed, so you never fully feel the power of the car. Right from the start, you're encouraged to purchase additional laps, with the explanation that the experience will go by very quickly which it does. We ended up buying 2 extra laps for about $70, which also felt expensive for such a short track. The track itself is quite small, so the laps feel very short. You barely have time to get into the experience before it's over. The whole activity was advertised as a two-hour experience, but in reality, we were done in less than an hour, including about 15 minutes of waiting before even getting started. They also offer an in car video for an additional cost, which I personally don't think is worth it. It's just a basic dashcam style recording inside the car. For the price of the experience especially for special occasions like a birthday something like this could easily be included or at least made more creative and memorable. Overall, by the end of the visit, the total cost ended up being significantly higher than expected, almost double the original price. I'm giving this two stars for the concept and potential. It could be an amazing experience, but in its current state, the pricing, track size, and overall execution don't quite justify the cost. I would consider coming back if there were noticeable improvements.

It was about $20-$35 more than racing with K1 (using a 2 race, 2 person experience as reference). We paid $143 for 2 races, 2 people. It was $65/person + $13 in taxes and fees. In comparison, K1 is $54/person + $7/person (annual "license") + $0 in taxes and fees. It would be $108 without the license, and $122 with the license.
