My company and I went to K1 to celebrate the Holiday Season. We had an upstairs room which included pizza, pasta, salad and garlic bread. The food was tasty and it wasn't a bad space other than it was rather warm. They did accommodate us with extra tables and chairs. We also had a reservation to race and boy was it fun. We had a little competition going and the top 3 racers received a certificate and a medal. They even stood on the winners block like a winner would. The staff was very friendly and professional, we had an amazing time. Now to why I gave this place 2 stars, the ladies restrooms. The toilets were so nasty I opted to hold my urine as long as possible. Unfortunately, I kept drinking water and had to go relieve myself before I had an accident. I only saw one female employee so maybe that is why they neglected the restroom but either way it was bad. Racing is awesome the restroom not so much. read more

We checked in at 7pm and were told it would be a 30 min wait. We waited until 8:30pm since we had not yet to be called. At this point we asked how much longer until we would race and they stated they never checked us in and we had not been assigned a race which they admitted was their fault. We then had to wait an additional 30 minutes even after bringing to their attention that we were never checked in. We finally got our first race at 9pm. We then had to wait for our 2nd race which once again we had to wait another hour for. It was not crowded and we saw groups who got there after us go two and three times before we even got our 2nd race at 10:15pm. By the time we raced we were one of the last ones there. Would not recommend this place unless you want to wait hours for your race. To include they don't offer any food. Only snacks such as chips and drinks even though their website states they offer food. On a positive note, the guy working the remote and running the overall safety of the track was on point and made sure that any issues that occurred were taken care of. He also maintained a good flow of the track and safe environment for all of us racing. Out of all the staff, he was the only one that took his job seriously. read more

My family were in Vegas for my brother's 60th birthday on April 4th. On April 6th he wanted to go kart riding at your establishment and called in an attempt to make a reservation. He stayed on the phone for an hour and a half and no one ever answered the phone. What could improve is if someone would answer the phone. This is no way to run a business. read more

The absolute worst experience. Don't put up with these employees bullshit. Nasty attitudes don't get you nowhere! When we first walked in, no one was doing their job. We didn't get helped for about 15 minutes, when we asked for help from this one employee, he denied us. It was confirmed by another employee that he was a worker, that same employee who denied us rode on the track with us. We had asked one of the employees if we could ride the track with just us three and they said yes. However, the employee was still let on the track and the whole time he kept bumping karts with my dad. When my dad complained to the other employees about the guy bumping into him, they all gathered and said that they couldn't take my dad's word for it. We asked if they had security cameras, and they didn't which is absolutely ridiculous!!!! With the security cameras we would've been able to show them what actually happened and what they didn't see. The manager kept escalating the situation instead of hearing out my dad and sided with his employees. He gave us another managers card, Kekoa, so we could contact him but he didn't answer. I would also like to add that when my dad went outside to make a phone call, ALL of the employees, especially the manager were talking smack about us. They had absolutely no shame, especially when I went up to one of the employees to ask a question. The most nasty attitude I've seen come out of a man. Overall, this experience was very disappointing, we were only coming in to have a good time. It is very unfortunate that even after we were done riding that the employees still continued to give us the WORST ATTITUDE. Whoever is the owner of K1 Speed, please consider more about who you hire. I have visited multiple K1 and karting locations now and this unfortunately would be the last in rank. I need to say first that the staff was friendly and the space felt fun and inviting. We didn't have any equipment failures. Our issues are mentioned in another review which is their lack of staffing and attentiveness ON the track during a race and how that directly affects more competitive drivers. There is no instructional video given and the introduction before getting your helmet was bare bones minimal. They made clear that bumping other cars is not allowed and can get you kicked out. Nothing was said about track safety or etiquette in regards to passing or allowing others to pass. And herein lies the problem. In the past you'd have attendants watching for bad behavior and for slower drivers that need to move over. There would be flags to let drivers know if one of these things were happening. Not here. On a Saturday afternoon with 2-3 groups racing, people were just cruising all lanes without any awareness, hard bumping was a regular thing, and despite having 2-3 staff at the track alone, no warnings/flags/signs were given except for the start and end of the race. To be clear this might just be the new rules and policies here and if so I have very little interest in coming back. Paying $70 for 2 short races, getting stuck behind multiple drivers with no awareness/etiquette/instruction and what appeared to be zero supervision made this a very disappointing experience. read more

Our recent experience wasn't the best, but the kids still had fun after a long wait. We arrived shortly after opening, not too many people, so we thought our 4 kids & 1 adult would race right away. One of the kids got bumped to the next race and we agreed to move the 3 to race in the next race, so they can race together. 1 racer was a Junior, so he raced in the first junior race. 3 adult races and over an hour later, they finally got to race. After voicing concerns to the staff, the manager did some investigating and somehow a system glitch kept pushing our party back. We were kind and respectful, despite the experience. The staff handled it professionally, with patience and compassion and a genuine interest in resolving the issue (which they did). We were happy overall and would return because past experiences were good. Some of these reviews were pretty bad. Obviously, those guests were allowing their emotions to bring the worst out of them and the staff. Moral of the story: Be kind and you will be treated with kindness in return! This place is so much fun! I love that the racing cars actually move fast and you race around the track like a pro! There's also a lil arcade area that is a nice area to hang while you're waiting to race! This place isn't unlimited so every time you race you have to pay and it's not necessarily cheap but we def have fun as a family every time we go!! read more

They have a bunch of kids running the place with no real supervision. Bathrooms were distrusting. They had a k1 employee racing with the customers trying to show off on 3/30. They were able to get him back to back races. We purchased 2 races After waiting 2 hours we finally got our 1st race in. After the 1st race we waited next to marshals running the track for them to call us for our 2nd race. That's when they let their employee go back to back races. After 4 races go by we ask why we haven't been added for our 2nd race and they just went silent.... They said idk how but you never got added to the 2nd race and the next time you can go is in 3 hrs. When they clearly threw in their co worker to back to back races....... Then when he's done he goes behind the counter and my kids don't get their 2nd race in. Ruined the kids birthday all excited for their 2nd race. And we tipped the marshals before our 1st race and they still couldn't take care of us. Service just gets worse and worse read more

I purchased a $300 annual membership from Pole Position. K1 Speed took over. I did not receive any type of communication this was taking place. I went in October, and the manager on duty didn't know how to access the information on the computer system. She took down my information and said they'd be in contact. Never received a call back. I've made several calls and left messages. Spoke directly to Koa, another manager, and he told me that corporate would have to assist me as the cut-off was November 20th. I have left voicemails for them as well. I'm still waiting for a response. At this point, I paid $300 for four races and a free tee as the membership wasn't honored. read more

DO NOT COME HERE!!! Please read ALL the way through. I came in today with family like we always do every once in a while, everything started out good but mid-race, there was a young kid avoiding the rules of the track and ramming my family. We ignored it after the first race, but it kept happening. We spoke to a lady manager (don't know her name) and she offered us a free race without the kid to have fun. As we are waiting for our free race, one of the workers was gonna put us in the race. We told him that we didn't wanna race with the kid because of how he was racing. The kid stepped in to talk and my mother told him that she was talking to the worker, not him. The father of said child walked over and started yelling at my mother for talking to his son. The argument escalates, and then they leave. The same lady manager that gave us a free race, walked over and kicked us out because my mother "yelled at the kid". The same employee my mother was talking to apologized to us because he knew that she didn't do what she was accused of. But of course, he didn't speak up and say what actually happened. We have been coming here for over 2 years. We've been coming here before it was even K1, and was still called Pole Position. But once again, because of how we were treated, we will never step foot in this building. read more

Was not pleased. Both my kids were were bumped by the same driver twice during the race. This same driver was warned every lap. Before exiting the track he bumped my son a third time so hard that his go cart spun out of control. This driver was warned several times at the beginning of the race by the staff. I felt he targetted my kids the entire time on the track. We were looking forward to coming to this place, but we felt ignored and no consequences happened to the other driver for disregarding rules that were clearly given to everyone. We came in on sat july 1 for a post fathers day event. just 2 of us did the race on the spot price. we did have to wait a while but we had a good time watching the others race. we also saw some youth races. we totally enjoyed the music being played that day. The staff here was great but the racing itself has some flaws. We walked in and they have some video games that you can pay to play, very fun. We got some drinks and had a group of 8 of us. We are all highly competitive people who have experience racing and we're really excited to compete. When it was time for us to race, others who joined our heat were less experienced and just seemed to want to drive over compete. Those people stayed on the inside did not break and held others back, they caused crashes, lots of bumping and made our experience not as fun. We can count on one hand how many laps we did at full speed because all of the other times there were crashes. All things considered we did have a good time but decided we would go to another place next time. It might be a better experience if they separate races into skill levels. We would have rather waited to race against more people at our level. read more

Be warned if you know what you're doing, be prepared to basically completely waste your money if something happens on the track or your cart you're not paying for the actual 12 laps you're paying for the amount of time. It usually takes to do 12 laps so if they have to stop the race, you are still paying for 12 laps, even though you only do two or three. things happen I get it but the fact that you are paying for 12 laps but only do 2-5 due to no fault of your own is rigged. Why I'm I paying for 12 laps if I'm being timed for 12 laps? No one on the track ever does 12 actual laps if something happens. I spent about 180 dollars 4 of those races were ruined due to bad karts and idiot employees slowing down my kart even though I got rear ended twice. If you are knowledgeable about the sport, I fully recommend to never come here read more

I'm honored to be the first to leave a review for this awesome place! So me and my best friend are huge F1 fans and since we both work in stressful jobs we have been looking for a place to blow off some steam after a stress filled day at work. We did a quick search and found K1 Speed. We went in on a Tuesday and were greeted by super friendly staff and an absolutely awesome raceway and paddock cafe area with plush couches and places to sit while waiting to race. We signed our waivers and immediately suited up to race. Let me tell you this isn't your "dad's mini grand prix". These are fast, adrenaline inducing go karts and when you get a good group going the action is intense. We raced with about 4 other strangers and going at speeds of close to 45mph is exhilarating. Also trying to get the best lap times and win the race takes immense skill and effort. The track is a challenging track and that makes for some of the funnest racing you'll have anywhere. What's even better is how affordable and how much bang for your buck you get. A race is 12 whole laps and it's extremely affordable. Plus if you sign up for a membership you even get a free race on your birthday. My friend and I had so much fun that we ended up coming back the same day later that night to try and beat our lap times. We were also told about the GP events that are held where you can race for prizes. If you're looking for a fun and affordable way to blow off steam and get your adrenaline pumping I definitely recommend K1 Speed. Its plenty fun for adults and they do even have Karts for kids as well plus an arcade and even some VR gaming. Definitely an awesome spot that's earned a regular racer. read more

This review is specifically for the virtual reality portion of it. It is run by a complete imbecile who doesn't know anything about anything. When we first arrived, we were told to check in at the computers. But the computers were only for races, not for virtual reality. So we went to the cash register to find out how we can register, and the other imbecile that works there took down our names and our vouchers and told us that it would be half an hour and that they would come and get us. Half an hour goes by and nothing, so we approached both the counter and the virtual reality booth. The virtual reality assistant did not recognize us and the attendant taking down our information at the cash register was nowhere to be seen. So then we were told that we had to wait yet another half an hour because he let other groups in front of us. The virtual reality attendant tried to blame it on how he was just one person and therefore we had to wait. But the reality is he had no idea who we were, forgotten that we were in line, and let others go in front of us. For whatever reason, he gave preferential treatment to other groups ahead of us and we were made to wait for over an hour. Our party booked a 3-race group package ($$$) and had a mostly good time, but there were big safety concerns that were not addressed by the staff. 1. On the final race, one of our group's front tires came off in the first lap. Luckily the tire did not strike his shoulder or helmet when it flew off. This was not from a collision, so I'm not sure how this happens right at the start of the race if the cars are properly maintained? 2. While we were stopped, one of the employees told us we would have a restart of the "grid" start. After they removed the car missing the wheel, they simply turned on the switch to allow the cars to immediately start. Not everyone was ready since we were stopped on the course for a few minutes and there was no communication telling us we were about to start again. Not ideal for a competitive party that paid for a 3 race group package. In short, the group had fun but the "mechanical problems" and subsequent botched start took away from an expensive outing. read more

As a regular customer to guess go kart track and the Las Vegas resident I highly recommend you go to anywhere else but this during our recent experience, I have my kids we waited two hours as we were told it was a two hour wait for them to race upon waiting two hours we asked when we're going to race they told us it would be another hour and we waited when I went to the podium to ask the manager when the race was she said it was in three races and show me the screen and assured me the kids would be racing into races ahead... I took the kids waited by the race podium and was told that they were squeezing in another corporate group ahead of the kids and we'd have to wait longer when I asked the manager Reece Hunsicker why this was being allowed?! She said, corporate groups pay a lot of money... I guess I don't pay a lot of money throughout the year buying multiple races so screw this place and I'm gonna be refunding all of my races take my business to other go kart places that are more child, friendly and teenage friendly. I have never written a review before, but our experience here was absolutely horrible. I thought K1 speed was a well established place as my friends have gone in different states and had great experiences. However, this was not the case at this location. My friends and I got to this location around 6:30pm. When we got there the worker at the front I believe his name was Riley, stated that there would be a 2 hour wait time. He also stated we could not be put on a waitlist, so we needed to pay for our race and to come back at 8:50pm. So we paid for one race and decided to come back in 2 hours. When I reiterated what he said, he also said to come back at 8:40pm just to be safe. That was all that was said to us. We came back at 8:30pm and heard everyone's names be called so we waited until 8:50pm for our group to be called. When my friends went up to the front there was another worker, they had dark hair and ear piercings. He asked for our receipt with the names and when we pulled out the receipt he gave us attitude and said "Just give me the names." Personally, we think that we were forgotten to be put into the queue. When asked about how much longer we needed to wait, he said that it would be an hour or more. That since we aren't a "party" that we would not be a priority. (When I went online, the only reservations were for birthday parties which did not apply for our group.) Then he said that we would either need to wait or we can get a refund. We waited a little bit, but still our group was not called. So, we went up to the person at the front again and we were given attitude again. We ended up ASKING for a refund because the custom service and wait time was ridiculous. When we asked for the refund, their machine was suddenly "down" and we couldn't get a refund that day. So ultimately we paid, waited for 3 hours, didn't get to race, didn't get a refund, and we were treated with a condescending attitude. If we were told in the beginning that we wouldn't be a priority because we aren't apart of a birthday party, we wouldn't have put down money to race. It was huge waste of our time. There needs to be a better system. My group was excited to race, but left extremely disappointed. It's been a week and my friend who paid for the whole thing is still waiting for a refund. read more

Overall, fun experience, but the kart seats HURT. Theres no padding whatsoever. The seat is rock hard. My niece (adult rider), nephew (junior rider) and myself all have burns/rashes on our mid backs from the hard seat rubbing against our clothing from us moving around so much. Not to mention, we are super sore due to the instructor not showing/telling how to adjust the seat. If our seats were adjusted correctly I don't think the rashes or soreness would've occurred. The K1 instructors should really take more time to instruct new riders on. Could've be a fantastic experience, but it was just ok. read more

The guy working the night of 12/17/2023 was rude, lazy and a disrespectful. He wanted to leave early so he lied that there was no more seats available for racing. The person we talked to says there was open races left and so we booked a Uber driver costing over $30 to come down. The white guy was just lazy and wanted to go home early on Sunday night. We never got an apology from him and no comp. We were from out of town, confirmed openings and wasted our time because the white guy wanted to go home early. Don't waste your time coming here. Have been going to this location for a while and overall this place has been going downhill. The main complaint that leads to my 1 star rating is the lack of awareness and control of the employees. As stated for every new "racer", there is to be little to no bumping. Although, it is expected to have a few bumps here and there but this was not the case. My friends and a few other people were in shock when racing with a group who was bumping others on purpose and not trying to avoid collision. Sad to say these were adults who had their own gear and were experienced drivers. They seemed to be having fun beating up on other racers and even kids. I was one who was getting hit by these fellow adults again and again until the race was over. What was worse is that the employees did nothing and were not paying attention to the race itself. I woke up the next morning with bruises all over my back and on the sides of my legs. Would have been a great and enjoyable activity if the workers did their job and kicked out people responsible for doing this to not only myself but to others as well. The previously branded Pole Position and management had this all under control before it was rebranded to K1. Would NOT recommend anyone to come here anymore especially with children and even grow adults looking for something to do. read more

When we first arrived to this place at around 6pm, the service rep said it would take an hour and a half wait. He said if you come back after 8 PM it would be a lot quicker, less people. My kids and I returned at 8 PM and he told us it would be an hour wait. We decided to stay which was a mistake. We had to wait two hours for their name to be called. When we inquired the manager said sorry holiday it's been busy. When the kids finally got called... The Internet went out. So they were not even being timed for their races which is a big deal for my kids because they want to track their race against others. When we inquired with the manager saying how this experience has not been great. He said, sorry and walked away. This was very disappointing. At the very least I would think they could offer something like a voucher to come back for 10% off or something like that to accommodate. But nothing. For the amount paid for two races ($69), you would think there would be a quality of service. Maybe they think because Vegas has a touristy location that they don't need to raise their standards for customer service. This will be the last time we're patrons of this place! Terrible! read more

Poor customer service. Other staff is ruining it for the one good person working there. Came in on a slow Sunday night on my birthday to race just one time. Asked if it was possible to race by ourselves to which they politely told us they can't guarantee it due to business demands and whoever/larger parties coming in (which is completely understandable). We decided to wait to see if we could get a private race just the two of us. The place was empty and the last race had 3 guests in it. We told the man at front controlling the lineup that we would like to skip the next available race until we were able to go by ourselves. The place was empty but again we understand its by business demands etc. Where the issue is; one of the workers had 4-5 friends come in, race for free, and let them race by themselves and with other guests multiple times. We were waiting for over an hour. Finally gave up and raced with other people. If the excuse was for "business demands" why let your friends come race for free and skip lines?
