    Group class!

We had such a great experience with K9 Logic Dog Training for our puppy, Harlow. The program was super clear, structured, and easy to follow--even for puppy parents. We saw improvement almost immediately, and within a short time, Harlow's focus, leash manners, and confidence improved dramatically. Huge shoutout to our trainer, Alice--she was patient, knowledgeable, and made everything feel really doable. She gave us practical tools we could actually use in real life (not just in a training setting). One of the best parts is the continued support after graduation. Being part of the K9 Logic alumni community means we can still reach out if we need guidance and join in on group classes, which is such a game changer. Highly recommend!

Great company, amazing staff and super attentive trainers. My Pomchow completed his 12 week training and he was so receptive to his commands. Alison is amazing and she is truly well connected with dogs and owners. Highly recommend it and will be using it in the future for boarding and other services. We were very pleased and impressed how great everything went

K9 Logic staff were all extremely knowledgeable and kind. Alice, who was my dog's primary trainer, did a wonderful job not only training my dog but explaining and taking time to make sure I understood everything to continue her training at home. I recommended K9 Logic to friends and will continue to do so!

This is the ONLY dog training facility that I trust!! The staff is very accommodating, friendly, knowledgeable, and communicative. Since boarding my Rott/Lab mix, Magnus, I've seen great results with his indoor and outdoor training. Chris, our trainer, has helped us with the heel command, recall, and socializing with other dogs the CORRECT way while making it fun and enjoyable for Magnus. Definitely recommend K9 Logic if you're looking to improve your dog's overall wellbeing!

We couldn't be happier with the experience we've had training Raider. Before sending him in, he already knew his basic commands, but it was kind of on his terms. He'd listen... sometimes. We really wanted to tighten up his discipline and obedience while he's still young so that as he gets older, he's solid and reliable. The difference since training has honestly been huge. His obedience and overall discipline are on a completely different level. He can now go on 4-5 mile walks in a heel, which was never happening before. When we give him a command, you can literally see him thinking through it and choosing to listen instead of just doing whatever he wants. That control and focus is something we didn't have before. What I appreciate most is that it wasn't just "send your dog away and good luck." They trained Raider, but they also trained us. We've had multiple follow-up calls, and they're always available and super communicative. It really feels like a long-term investment, not a one-time transaction. The group outings every couple of weeks have also been incredible. Being able to continue training around other dogs in a controlled setting has made a huge difference, and it feels like we're part of an ongoing community. They genuinely care about Raider's progress and love seeing him improve. If you're looking for serious results but also long-term support, I'd 100% recommend them.

LONG OVERDUE and I never use yelp but I had to write a review A little bit of a late bloomer . But when Toby had reached around 4 years old I was convinced he was "too old " to be trained and that I would have to live with his on leash aggression forever. It felt like it was my fault that because I didn't train him early enough he developed these bad habits and that I was a bad dog parent . My common excuse was "he was a rescue" anytime he lunged at other dogs . Walks always became this mentally draining experience of always having to be on your guard in fear toby would hurt another dog . ( especially if the other dogs were off leash and had bad recall ) I would have nightmares about this. BUT , then I met Chris and K9 logic and he pretty much threw that whole mindset out the window and ensured me that any dog can be trained at any age . He insured me that my dog wants to make me happy , that if me and my wife committed to his training instructions that Toby could learn better recall and obedience . And sure enough that is what happened . Walks became easier and toby made friends ( who would have thought ) . Most importantly our bond became so much stronger through our training with Toby and with my wife. Toby passed in 2024 ( As I write this in 2025 ) But I am ALWAYS thankful for the life I was able to give Toby , all thanks to K9 Logic . Thanks to k9logic Toby was able to live a great life all the way up to 15 ! So thank you Chris . I will always appreciate it . I know Toby is always watching over us :D

Rescuing a 125 pound Armenian Gamphr was the best and worst thing to change our lives. Aralez came from a her first year filled with trauma and abuse. She is huge, headstrong and smart. She is also devoted and loving and funny. We did not know what to do when your puppy's chewing, pulling and charging might mean a trip to the doctor! But Alice and the exceptional trainers at K9 Logic sure did. They did not hesitate to take her on with love and firm discipline, teaching both her and us. With their training and support, Aralez was transformed in eight weeks into a dog that truly wanted to behave and interact with us so that she got the best results back. Learning how to use the E collar was the best thing ever now we can walk her past dogs and she doesn't charge, she knows how to Place and calm herself when she gets excited and she's really very responsive to just about everything we need her to do to keep her safe and us safe in an environment that she deserves to be in. Thank you, Alice for giving me hope when I really didn't know if it would be possible to keep her. We love our Aralez and really appreciate you!

This review is way overdue, but that's just a testament to how busy our Dogo Argentino, Mando, has been keeping us! We enrolled Mando in training with K9 Logic, and we couldn't be happier with the results. Kevin, his trainer, is truly amazing. He seems to have a special connection with dogs - Mando listens to him like no one else! When Mando was working with Kevin, he was an absolute angel, a perfect child. Of course, like any dog (or kid!), he has a different personality at home, haha! We genuinely believe that his early training with K9 Logic has made a significant and lasting impact on his behavior today. Kevin provided us with great tools and techniques that we still use today. Thank you K9!

K9 Logic is money well spent! My husband and I took our furry baby, Wally ,to the 5 week board&train at k9 logic. It has been 3 weeks since we picked him up and he is such a different dog! Chris and Jaclyn did such a great job transforming him to such an obedient dog. Prior to training, he would pull during walks, run towards other dogs out in public to play, didnt come towards us when calling his name and using the command "come", and would jump on everyone for attention. Now, Wally is engaged during walks, stays calm when other dogs/people pass by, and has great recall! It has been much easier taking him out on adventures with us! Jaclyn was so patient with us during the pick up and the follow up- training my husband and I how to use the tools provided to continue training Wally at home! I am confident that he is on the way to be certified Therapy Dog! Thank you Chris and your team for not only training Wally, but taking good care of him during the 5 weeks!

EDIT: Board and Train is from Dec 2023, my review is long overdue. LOL I've taken Harley, my 42lb block of muscle who's super sweet and full of energy, to other trainers in the past with some progress but after putting Harley in a 3 wk board and train to work on basic obedience and resource guarding with Chris and the K9 Logic crew, I've noticed a completely different pup. She's way better with recall and other commands but still needs some work on her resource guarding. During the evaluation, Chris demonstrated "yes" & "good" commands which she picked up quite quickly. After seeing how responsive she was I knew this was the right fit. I got weekly updates and videos showing her progress, and notes on how the crew loved her. When I picked her up, they set me up with a prong & e-collar and trained me on how to use the tools for a good 1.5hr. In the follow-up a week later, we went over how the week went. Chris really does take the time to answer all the questions. It's been a few months now and it's been pretty great being able to walk her off-leash on our hikes. We've also gone to a few of the alumni group outings at the Galleria/Americana which has been a great resource to ask any additional questions and to keep up with the training.

I can't stress enough how grateful my husband and I are that we found Chris and K9 Logic! We rescued a 2 year old husky shepherd mix who was found as a stray and knew we needed all the help we could get. Before coming to K9 Logic, Luna had mega separation anxiety and this manifested into destructive tendencies. She ate part of our couch and warped her metal crate from biting. Our goal for Luna was to provide her structure, training, and increase her confidence levels which were the source of her anxiety. We wanted to be better owners and trainers so that she could be the best and happiest dog she could be. Chris and his staff were amazing and gave us all the tools we needed to start Luna off on her journey with us. We decided to go with the three week board and train after our initial evaluation! We were already going out of town and aligned her training with our trip. We got the CUTEST update videos showing her amazing progress! We just got her back and can't wait to use the wealth of tools that Chris has provided us to keep up with her training. Since Luna is an alumni, K9 Logic provides exclusive boarding! We wouldn't trust her with anyone else. We are signing up for private classes and are looking forward to becoming members of the K9 Logic family! Thank you from Max, Myan, and Luna.

After Mochi arrived she visited weekly for in-home training, and each session was followed by a detailed email and PDF summarizing step-by-step what we learned. There was no problem she didn't have a solution for -- she's the female dog whisperer. We had a deeply disappointing experience with Jesse and Proud Paws. During our initial…read moreconsultation, we explained our specific situation: a young puppy in a home with a 2-year-old toddler, and a desire to build good habits early before problems could develop. Jesse assured us that she had experience with this kind of dynamic. She strongly encouraged us to sign up for her "Puppy Rockstar" package which is eight sessions for $1,360. She came across as personable, confident, and knowledgeable, so we trusted her and paid in full upfront (though this was optional). Despite carefully following the program (including more than triple the 10 min minimum daily training time she advised) our puppy's behavior deteriorated. After three sessions, it was clear her training methods (which relied entirely on treat-based reward and offered no alternate tools or structure) weren't effective for our situation. We made the hard decision to go with a more intensive program elsewhere. When we contacted Jesse to explain our situation and request a prorated refund for the five unused sessions, she refused, citing a strict "no refunds" clause in her paper work packet. Her only offer was to put our remaining sessions on hold and extend their expiration, even though we made clear that we had already moved to other training out of necessity. It is important to note that the contract also included a clause discouraging us from working with or even taking advice from any other trainer during the program. In our view, this kind of exclusivity, especially in a situation involving a toddler and a rapidly escalating behavioral issue, was unreasonable and not in the best interest of our family or the puppy. Ultimately, we had to prioritize safety and act against the restriction as quickly as possible, even though we initially agreed in good faith. I made this clear to Jesse and offered a fair compromise, in my opinion, of allowing her to retain payment for an additional unused session as a gesture of goodwill. She declined. I voiced my frustration and, frankly, shock at her stance. When I told her I would be leaving a review of our experience, she said that doing so was "threatening her business." I clarified that we were sharing our honest experience so others could make informed choices. My wife and I don't see it that way-we believe sharing an honest account is important for other families deciding who to welcome into their homes with training. Her communication about resolving these issues reflects a rigid and transactional mindset rather than a client-focused one. That was particularly disappointing given how kind and understanding she initially seemed. I strongly advise others to approach with caution: If you choose to work with Proud Paws, I recommend avoiding prepayment, requesting a copy of any contract, and understanding there may be little room to adapt if things don't go as expected. Check out my other reviews-I hate leaving negative ones and have only done so once before. I much rather spread positive news with people and typically have much better luck on yelp finding the right providers. As an update: our puppy has been with a new trainer for just one week, and the change has been dramatic. She's calmer, better behaved, and able to interact positively with our toddler. It's been a complete turnaround. We're beyond relieved that we made the change, though still hurting from the way our family was treated here. Photo from that visit-because every review needs one moment of joy-attached.

Greyson was reactive, and even the jingle of another dog's collar or hearing a bark would immediately set him off. Walks and outings were stressful because I was constantly worried about how he would react. From the very beginning, Emily was patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in helping both of us succeed. Greyson has completed private training sessions and a board and train with Emily and her team, and the progress has been incredible. One of the biggest improvements has been in his reactivity. Since working with Emily, he has become much more focused, calmer, and better able to work through situations that would have previously triggered a reaction. Not only has his reactivity improved, but his obedience, confidence, and overall behavior have as well. What I liked most was that Emily didn't just work with Greyson. She also took the time to explain things to us and show us how to continue the training at home. What I appreciated most was that Emily was honest about the process. She didn't promise overnight results or a quick fix. Instead, she gave us a clear plan, realistic expectations, and the tools we needed to continue helping Greyson succeed. She was always available to answer questions and support us throughout the process. It's clear that Emily and her team genuinely care about the dogs they work with and want both the dogs and their owners to be successful. As a dog owner, there is no better feeling than knowing your dog is in good hands, and I completely trust Emily and her team with Greyson. The amount of dedication, knowledge, and care they put into their work is amazing. We are beyond grateful for everything they have done for Greyson and our family. If you're looking for a trainer who truly cares, takes the time to understand your dog, and delivers real results, I highly recommend Emily's K9 Training. The Team is knowledgeable, professional, communicative, helpful, always training-session timely - all around terrific. That was a huge concern because Henry would run after squirrels, other dogs - on our walks. So we wanted to be sure Winston would listen, and mind our commands while out and about. Emily trained Winston (and us) so perfectly. We love taking him on walks now - and he has faced some hugely distracting situations - completely busy park settings with people, pets, babies - everyone who comes up to meet and greet him - and pet him - cannot believe how well-behaved he is! He tolerates all of the attention - loud noises - balloons - everything. Emily's K9 Training is FANTASTIC. Walking Win, now, in the neighborhood is a joy. We recently passed several dogs who were leashed but out-of-control - - and at the very same time we had to pass by a home with a large dog barking behind the hedges. We became prisoners in our own home. We either had to take him everywhere with us or have one of us stay behind. It became a huge burden, and we found ourselves scheduling our entire lives around our dog. We decided to work with Dawit, and little by little, things started to improve. When we got Cooper back from training, he was like a completely different dog. He no longer pulled on the leash, was not reactive when he saw other dogs, his recall was amazing, and many of our typical worries disappeared. However, the separation anxiety still persisted. This is where Dawit truly deserves recognition. He never gave up on us or on Cooper. Our training journey probably lasted longer than most because of how severe Cooper's anxiety was, but Dawit went far beyond the typical follow-ups. Over the course of several months, the training sessions, check-ins, texts/videos, communication, and home visits finally paid off. There were times when I genuinely thought we'd never be able to return to a normal life, but our consistency combined with Dawit's continued support and new techniques made all the difference. Cooper can now stay home alone in his crate without issues. That being said, training only works if you put in the effort. We followed through with everything Dawit recommended, even when it was difficult or when we didn't see immediate results. It's easy to fall back into old habits or give up when progress feels slow, but perseverance truly pays off. Side note: Dawit is just an all-around great person who genuinely cares about what he does. Our dog absolutely adores him. We also love the boarding services he offers -- especially because Cooper comes home exercised and happy. Another huge plus is that Cooper is now off-leash certified, and we fully trust him to make good decisions. Yes, it can be costly, but it's an investment and honestly, I don't know another dog as well‑behaved as ours. I'm incredibly proud of the work it took to get here.

Not only does he train the dog -- he gives us humans tools to succeed -- which makes all the difference (if you keep up the work). If you're looking for someone who truly cares about long-term results and is there when you need a reset, or help I highly recommend Greg! We're so grateful to have our confidence back and in a good rhythm again! Jas & Truffle

We cannot thank Gregg enough for the incredible work he did with our rescue German Shepherd puppy…read more We were struggling with significant leash pulling and dog aggression, but Gregg's impact was immediate--he showed us positive progress on the very first day. We opted for a one-week Board and Train program, and the results were night and day. Gregg kept us updated throughout the week, and by the time we picked her up, her leash manners and social aggression had improved drastically. Beyond the initial issues, Gregg went the extra mile by teaching her solid foundation commands. Gregg also performed a home visit to ensure the training transitioned to our home environment and successfully moderated a meet-and-greet with our neighbor's dog--something we had unsuccessfully attempted many times before. His methods were gentle and effective. We are so grateful for his help and highly recommend him. Thank you again Grgg

I found out a former family member put up our cat for adoption and was then later sent to this location. when I arrived there was a volunteer by the name of Kate who helped me out and I was able to get my baby girl back. Kate was so lovely and Wan so thank you for taking good care of my princess. I would also like to recognize a worker by the name of Adam who was truly such an angel and he slayed. Not only was Adam so happy for me but it was nice to get to know a little bit about him and how he loved his job because he loves animals so he felt like he was in the perfect place which honestly melted my heart. He was able to help me out with my coupons and get me the best deals for my baby girl. At the end when we said goodbye he told me "I'm so happy you got your baby back" and I was just so touched because I knew he meant it and that's how I truly knew he's an animal lover, I could just tell he was one of my peoples and he is that betch lol. I cannot recommend any other store but this PetSmart location, the kind Souls here are just everything.

After waiting 3.5 hours, I called to check on the status and was informed that they offer a "VIP service" for an additional $20, which allows those customers to be prioritized. As a result, my dog's appointment was delayed while others were taken first. If I schedule an appointment for a specific time, I expect my pet to be serviced accordingly unless there are unavoidable delays. This policy feels frustrating and inconsiderate to customers who plan their time around these appointments. If higher pricing is necessary, it would be more transparent to adjust base rates rather than introduce add-ons that delay standard appointments. Overall, this was a disappointing experience, and I will be looking for another groomer in the future

My English Mastiff, Lina, is a certified therapy dog, so her temperament, comfort, and well-being are incredibly important to me -- and Paradise Ranch has consistently exceeded expectations. Most recently, Lina stayed for a 9-day boarding visit, the longest she's ever been away from home. She came back relaxed, happy, and well cared for, with no soreness or stress -- which speaks volumes about the thoughtful, attentive care she receives. The staff truly knows the dogs, understands large breeds, and treats each one like family. The environment is calm, enriching, and well managed, and the communication always gives me complete peace of mind while I'm away. I am so grateful for the incredible team at Paradise Ranch and wouldn't trust anyone else with my dog. Highly recommend to anyone looking for exceptional daycare and boarding.

One of my colleagues first told me about this place as she has a boxer and she shares that her dog just absolutely thrives at the resort. I have a pit bull mix terrier and I thought I'd give it a shot! Cageless? Lots of places for my puppy to roam? Yes sign us up please! I brought my pup for an evaluation, got to learn more about the resort, toured the facility and then brought her back for another evaluation cause #separationanxiety. Her not me! I watched her on the webcams (so many!) and she did great! Lots of shade options for her and lots of pups for her to be around. It was nice to see her socialize! She passed and I felt really great about her experience. Upon arrival and departure, all very secure. The team was great and I can't wait to see how she does after her first overnight experience. Thanks for a great time!
