    Only the best eggs

Super Nice Ladies here. Always very gracious and friendly. It's a pleasure to do business with such nice people. The eggs are perfect and in this economy and very good deal. Salamat Po!!!!

My family has been coming here for years. They have a great deal on eggs compared to the grocery store and those 2 older ladies have a great rhythm. One of them went to the Philippines for a little bit and two other people came in to take her place.

The recent bird flu and egg shortage in the US has turned me into an egg snob! How can that be? Up until recently, I was a Costco egg shopper, buying their affordable, mainland-produced 18-pack and 5 dozen options. Thin shells and pale yellow yolks that got the job done. Once in a while I'd find steaks of blood in them, even a soft embryo that looked like a beak. Yikes. When the egg shortage hit, I was forced to pick up whatever was available at Safeway. Enter my first experience with Ka Lei Eggs, including a painful price of $8 for just a dozen white eggs. The plastic packaging is very durable but wasteful, with a fancy, double lid closure and the only downfall of the product. The shells are noticeably thicker, but the yolks are what makes it worth the price. Not only are they deep yellow in color, they really do taste better overall. "Too good!" as their old commercial slogan would say. A few weeks later, the spouse picked up a dozen of their organic brown eggs from Whole Foods, with an even steeper price of $11 for a dozen. The yolks were of the same deep color and tasted similar to their white counterparts, so I'll be sticking to the former. OVERALL: No more mainland eggs for us!

Local is best... Been pretty much a faithful Ka Lei Eggs lover though the latest issue with egg shortage has me going off the path and cheating on my beloved breakfast item. I've always known that they have a shop in Kalihi well Waiakamilo Road to be exact is where you'll find Eggs Hawaii, Inc. Not huge sign or anything eggstra special to attract your attention you just need to know and we basically all do but I usually miss the opportunity to snatch a tray of eggs as the shop hours are from which is 9am to sold out which what I'm told is usually at noon these days. Lots of free parking that they do share with other tenants as well so it can fill up as many wait outside prior to opening but the line moves really fast as the staff are very efficient taking and processing orders which makes it a cool vibe, so don't think like me and give this place a visit as many lovely local eggs are found here at great prices as my jumbo white of 20 eggs tray was $12.75 and that's got my head scrabbled for such a yummy deal. Thank you!

Grandkids happy to color jumbo eggs from Eggs Hawaii, and both children and adults enjoyed eating them!

I always support local egg farmers. It's a tough business and they have to compete with mainland eggs. But if you want fresh and yummy eggs, you should definitely buy local. I was a regular at Peterson Egg Farm for years. It was located in my hometown of Wahiawa. Everyone knew the generations of the Peterson family who worked on the farm. When it closed, I was devastated. But I've known about Eggs Hawaii, so I choose to support them. I've bought my one or two flats of 18 jumbo eggs there for the past two Easters and they will not be my last. Their shop on Waiakamilo has plenty of parking and accessible, and their employees are top notch. This year, I bought two flats of 18 Jumbo eggs for $12 each or $24 for easter coloring, and everyone enjoyed eating their eggs, even my 1-1/2 year old granddaughter! It's the place to go when you are in town. I even drive here from Wahiawa to pick up eggs.

Went here because I'm in need of better eggs. I don't want to go crazy at Costco for the waimanalo eggs that many times aren't there. I don't want to wake up early to go to farmers market and spend so much more. I just like this place and cannot believe it's taken me so long to find this place. Luckily not many people were here when I got here. I appreciate this shop but the traffic on dillingham is still crazy. You can get off of the freeway or go on Nimitz. Just get there not on dillingham. The place is small and there was one splendid lady working. The eggs are at a good price and I was told as long as you put the eggs in the fridge they last a month. Good to know these things.

These eggs are not cracked. These eggs are whole. These eggs are fresh. I know because I have wild chickens at home and they leave some around from time to time. There's a pungent fragrance in a fresh egg. (Left out the bad joke here) It's simple. Sold by the trays. Small or large, white or brown. Pay and walk out. Wonder how they can sell you so much for so little $.

If you're trying to survive in this economy and are also egg lover, you NEED to check out this place.! Not only are their eggs top-quality, but they're also super affordable for being organic. I've been buying from here for a while now, and I'm hooked. The eggs are incredibly fresh, with rich yolks and a flavor that's miles ahead of regular store-bought ones. What really stands out is the price - I was shocked to find organic eggs at this price point. The quality is so much better than the typical supermarket eggs, and they're often priced the same or cheaper! Plus, knowing they're locally sourced and organic makes me feel good about supporting the business. Service was prompt and place looked clean and nicely maintained

we have yet another egg shortage and no eggs are to be found anywhere! Luckily Ka Lei Eggs had some and they had not much of a line! The only catch is that you can only buy 1 tray per person! inside was small and they carried other snacks too if you were interested. THere is a parking lot in front of the store and one dedicated stall for Ka Lei Eggs. They are near Costco and on Waikamilo road. It may be tricky to get into depending on what side of the road you're coming from, but you shouldn't have any problems if you come off nimitz highway. a tray of cracked eggs was $10 and regular eggs was $12 and last about 1 month in the fridge. This is a great place to go if you don't want to drive 30+ minutes and wait in a 2 hour line. I'll be more than happy to pay a little extra than waste my time.

I saw many vendors that share the same items so sooner or later if you become a regular you will have your favorite vendor you will lean towards. They have vendors that sell already prepared mainly Filipino foods and desserts. They have vendors that sell you fresh fish and seafood as well as fresh meats. I always go to farmers market but I decided to start shopping here. It's convenient for what I was looking for. I see I can buy seasonings and noodles (dry packets) as well as many other things. I will return again when I'm running low on stuff. The prices aren't terrible but not that inexpensive either. You can find some bargain vegetables that aren't pretty but for $1 a piece it's good if you're using them up that day. I say try and go around and see what you can find. Plenty of convenient parking. Nearby outside there's Kamehameha bakery, sugoi'a and other eateries. Nearby is Costco and Costco gas and Home Depot so you can't go wrong.

And even after we moved, we would still drive out just to come here for the seafood. That's how special it was to us. One of the biggest ways he showed love was through his cooking. Even after a long day on his feet cooking for others, he would come home and cook for us. That was his way of taking care of us.
