This Place Is Big.

One Of The-Best places to get your asian vegetables you can't find anywhere else on island. i had to stop by and check it out. it's like a mini-costco for asian products. The snack section had a variety of filipino, japanese, thai and vietnamese snacks... their vegetable section was large and the walls were lined with deep-freezers carrying a plethora of imported goods. the main grocer aisles had even more stuff. Not to mention, this place is CLEAN!

February 2026 There are very few establishments that I will go to having to travel there Via Dillingham Boulevard. As we all know, Dillingham Boulevard is a total mess. But, Island Green Mart is one of the very few if not, the only establishment I would go to braving the horrible roads that Dillingham Boulevard has become OK, here's my take Clean establishment Clean and neat vegetables Clean and neat frozen goods Clean and neat dry goods Interesting imported Asian goods Priced right It's like going to an enclosed Chinatown market, but clean, neat and organize organized Nuff said!

We went to Island Green Mart to pick up some Avocados and Daikon and other items, should have picked up the papayas there! Safeway had a sale for $1.29 but the ones at Island Green Mart was in better condition and better size. The area is very clean and well kept and the leafy items are bagged in plastic bags and in the refrigerator section which keeps it fresher . They also carry fresh & frozen meats and frozen seafood and lots of groceries items. They are getting busier that customers are finding out about this hidden grocer, so now they have a parking lot attendant, but the movement is pretty fast as customers come and go pretty steady and there is hardly a line at the 2 check out at the most 1-2 customers in the line at the most. Still have a little traffic due to the road work but worth while instead of driving around looking for parking at Chinatown or the Dillingham Chinatown market.

Maybe it used to be GBC store before.

I heard they have one in Chinatown and small store near by Chuck E. Cheese in Kalihi along with other markets. I like this location because of the free ample parking although the Dillingham road is one road I preferred to avoid. Once you in this large air conditioned warehouse, I like the produced section, since it seems the vegetables are fresh and clean. Unique fruits, herbs, and vegetable can be find here. They have raw peanuts to make boiled peanuts, vegan frozen foods and products from Philippines, Vietnam and China. There's a variety of drinks, meat, snacks, coffee, products. I love shopping here. I do like their herbs, produce, snacks and chilled drinks, Vietnamese coffee packets. You would find ingredients when making tapioca! I do like their selection of Asian cold drinks. I believe they are in the former GBC store across Honolulu Community College.

This is one of the place I go to for Asian groceries! It has fresh veggies, fruits, meats, Taiwanese snacks, Thai seasonings, nước mam (fish sauce), all of that GOOD STUFF! It's like another target for me, i go there for a specific item, come out with a whole bunch of other goods! I love these Vietnamese bánh tráng cuốn and I added some fresh shredded mango and squeezed some calamansi (not in picture). So so good! Staffs are so sweet and helpful. I asked if they have any more of sweet mochi rice and they were happy to check in the back for me and got it for me.

My go to for Asian groceries if I'm in the area and especially don't want to go to Chinatown. Many selection to choose from, fresh produce, reasonably priced, lots of parking, convenient, getting more organized and more options in stock.

Vegan "meat" options!

If you want a ton of Asian cooking options, this is THE spot! It's big, clean, lots of parking and well organized. They have 2 freezer sections, organized by seafood and prepared foods. Fresh noods and dried noods. Noods galore! All kinds of ingredients including gluten free. Fresh meats including cuts you can't find in most places including intestines, blood, necks and even rectum. If that's your thang. Tons of snacks! Lots of seasoning. Fresh veggies at good prices. They had like 4 kinds of mangos. And tons of leaves. Like 2 rows of leaves of unusual things. And the surprise of the visit- TONS of vegan "meat" and "seafood" products, both dry and frozen. Labels are clearly marked including translations and lots of buy 2 for a cheaper price deals. I even scored ube flavor condensed milk!! Overall I'm mad I haven't gone shopping here sooner!

Disappointing to say, Chinatown isn't quite the place as it used to be. It was once the place to purchase fresh and unique produce at the cheapest price (no tax helps too), but now, there are more options outside of Chinatown with similar or even better prices, and also better parking. Island Green Mart is one of those newer places, and I've become an instant fan after shopping here a couple of times. It's conveniently located along Dillingham Blvd., across Honolulu Community College. Yes, get the rail construction going on, but it's not that bad getting there. Just bumpy. There's plenty of parking, and no other businesses sharing it. The inside is like a warehouse. Right side has all your frozen and dried goods, sauces, instant noodles, snacks, and etc. There's a chill section with noodles, tofu, eggs, and etc. Though, this section doesn't seem cold enough as I spotted too many noodles with mold. The left corner takes you to the produce section with a variety of fresh fruits and vegetables. This section is even more cooler! The variety is predominantly Chinese, Vietnamese, Thai, and Filipino items. There's also a meat section where you'll find a wide variety of different cuts of duck, pork, and beef. You'll find many unique cuts as well such pork uterus, duck head, pork and duck blood, pig tails, and etc! Overall, I enjoyed shopping here. There are a lot of excellent deals if you purchase multiple items. The prices are typical to Chinatown and other places with a decent amount of variety. But not quite enough Chinese vegetables. Everything is fresh and well packaged. The whole store is quite clean and organized with everything clearly marked. The staff here are very friendly and nice. This is definitely my new go-to place!

Three and a half stars. It has a lot of items and the place is huge. It's not crowded and the produce is pretty fresh and at a great discount! Maybe I went on a sale day without knowing but they had a few items on sale. I wanted cilantro, a few spicy sauces and a few other items for I didn't want to go into Chinatown. Great selection of noodles as well as a few other items.

With the current construction going on along Dillingham Blvd, it was not easy for me to find this supermarket.

Tastes so yummy and better than the ones we have in the regular stores. SORRY... but it's OUR opinion. Oh and their fruit snacks are pretty good too! ANYWHO, this place is worth TRYING and I'm not saying more cause I want to have them all to myself! HAHAHA! Nah nah but I'd rather YOU go in yourself to see it instead of listening to me on what I liked or thought. They have so much new and yummy flavored chips and I swear... it tastes GOOD! I got the buldak flavor, crab (MY FAVORITE), steak (my husbands choice), chicken, cucumber flavor, ketchup, lobster, chicken and then they have some others I didn't think to try like avocado or nori. I figured they'd be good for a second try. But the best was the apricot snacks! Idk ‍ it's probably because I needed it. But overall, it's NOT DRIED OUT! Not YET at least. Anywho, they've been out for about a year and they look as if they're not that busy. So, I'm hoping this will get MORE people to go here and visit to keep them open and so they CAN bring in MORE Asian snacks that we ALL wait for. Okie dokes! Thanks for reading and enjoy!

Hooray! One 2 Buy has added price tags to most of the items!…read more A number of items I looked at had English nutrition labels as well. Not everything, but it's a great improvement. The back of the store now has lights on. You can see in the back of the store. You no longer need to be apprehensive about venturing in the back of the previously unlit store. There is air conditioning, however, it doesn't seem to work well. I was in here for ten minutes and perspiring due to humidity and heat. I asked the one employee if she was uncomfortable in working in this heat. She replied that they are required to keep the front door open to let customers know it's open, so much of the cooled air escapes. It is crazy warm inside. Service is good. The one employee must stock, look out for customers and ring up sales. There is a half off table that I didn't observe in the past. Some of the drinks in the refrigerated section appear ready to burst. Overall, plus one star for labeling and price tags. I picked up a few sugar free and low calorie drinks to try here.

EXTERIOR: located at Ho'opili WAIT TIME: none PARKING: street OVERALL COMMENTS: wanted to check out what products n' hot food they had available. Visited on a Saturday, which was good bc I learned that they only offered hot food on the weekends per the lady who was working. I really wanted an Ilocos empanada so I was glad to see that they had it the day I went. I ended up air-frying it when I got home. It was still good even after the egg got double cooked. Had yummy flavor n' I liked that the vinegar it came with had a nice lil' kick of heat. The taro carioca was my favorite. Sweet crackly exterior, chewy inside similar to like mochi, n' you could taste the taro. I like my turon made with a long wrapper; get more crunchy sections from the ends, so this was the kine of turon I like. Also it has a caramelized outside adding extra flavored sweetness n' crunchiness. It's great knowing there is a Filipino market that carries a wide variety of products n' serves hot food too!

It's a small market and the name says what exactly you'll find here. I seen there was Puto; A steamed rice cake slightly sweet & topped with cheese for $7 for a pack of 6. I purchased a container, Let me say it was very delicious! I opened it up in my car on my way to work and couldn't stop eating it. If I could have I would have eaten all of it before reaching Waikele. I wanted to share some with my husband so I shared 2 with him. I'll be back for more! Hot foods are available: Wednesdays, Saturdays & Sundays. Location: Ho'opili next to Haus Of Puas. Parking: Street Parking. Seating: Outdoor, tables with umbrellas. Looking forward to trying their Filipino hot dishes & picking up a container or two of Puto. One for me and one for the husband.

Banchan has been the item that I've always looked forward to whenever I order a plate and never really knew that it had a name and as everyone has their favorite so did I and there are a few places that you can find some yummy banchan I had no idea about Hawaii Banchan Company but know that Elite Peter Y had gotten some snacks from there that I enjoyed and knew that I had to give them a visit one day...where!? You can find them right on Kapiolani though you can barely seem them from the street view as it's not the prominent located spot as they're located right below The Republik right beside the ramp where you can find several parking stalls it shares with other tenants. Open daily except Sunday I love how clean and spacious the shop is where each item is labeled along with price so you know without picking up the item to search makes browsing very easy with items like drinks, snacks both savory and sweet and of course display case filled with various banchan. Love the convenience of this location and now know that I can now find some of the unique items they carry and though I didn't walk away with banchan on this day know that my cravings will certainly bring me back. Thank you!

Not bad, but definitely not the best I've had, not enough sesame oil for my taste. They also have the popular fried strawberries snacks for sale. I also got a frozen musubi and some abalone congee to try. (The congee is really tasty!) There's also the famous fancy hotel kimchi for sale here if that's what you're into.
