I would love to give this place a higher review but after a few washes here I will say I cannot in good faith give this any higher than an "ok" rating. I decided the first few times to get the classic wash and it did a pretty good job at cleaning my car. However, getting in to this place off of the busy highway is nearly impossible and everyone is fighting for their place in line, for ultimately very average service. The last time I went here I decided to get the premium wash and it was LITERALLY the same quality but for $3 more - ridiculous! It didn't even get some spots on the windshield. The vaccum service was mid (but free!) and again just so busy for not being the best option in car cleaning. I will stick to hand washing instead of spending 15+ dollars on a mid job. m read more

It's a hit or miss, but that' the life of machine washing. Sometimes it does a good job and sometimes it's ok. I have never been disappointed with the washing. The dry cycle is about 95% or so. Very little water left on the car after going through, I wish they would add one more blower to get all the water off and back into the recycle phase. The customer service is militant or flight line 101. I thought I was landing or taxiing an aircraft when I driving your car up to the automated track. Guiding the car onto the track and placing the car in "N" neutral and a salute from the staff to continue and have a nice day. It's the same every time!!! The workers are trained and obedient. I'm a big fan of Kaady Carwash and have used them countless times over the years. This location is convenient when I'm running errands over in this part of town since it's right off the I-5 exit. While I so have a monthly pass at a different wash station for my Smart car, when we need to run our SUB through the wash we often come here. Have never had any issues and love the free vacuum, which should be included in every wash! When you are cleaning a vehicle, it should be inside and out. read more

I was looking for an express car wash in Portland and this place was most recommended by Yelp. All I need is a car wash and vacuuming, which Kaady Car Wash has. I opted for the Premium Wash for $10, which includes everything the Advanced Wash has, plus carnauba wax, wheel guard, liquid polish, underbody rinse, and free vacuum. I would estimate the express wash experience is around 3 mins. After your car is done, you can pull into one of the vacuum parking spots, which they limit you to 10 mins. It wasn't as busy when I came so they didn't enforce that rule strictly, but if it's busy, I can imagine they do. The wash for my car cleaned it about 85%. I still saw spots on the window, side doors, and trunk that weren't clean. I also notice the grill of the car was pretty dry and didn't seem to get cleaned. They don't give you a wash cloth or have anyone come wipe your car of water spots so be sure to have a rag handy. The vacuum machines are a joke because they're very weak and barely suck up the debris in your car. I had to run the nozzles against my car floor mats many times just to get them cleaned. read more

We aren't just talking about those typical car wash streaks that can buff out, we are talking serious deep scratches that will cost hundreds and hundreds of dollars to fix. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE. Not worth the car damages and horrible customer service. I went to take my car in for a quick wash and ended up getting sandwiched in between two cars with my car getting damaged due to the wash glitching and slamming our cars together. After my customer service file, John Jenkins contacted me saying he did not see anything in the footage and tried gaslighting me that our cars did not hit. They said they would not provide any security footage of the wash and that they are not entitled to any of the damages. This place is a SCAM. read more

BEWARE, this place + the people behind it are not who you want to support. This location tore the rear spoiler, which holds the third taillight, completely off my car and smashed it into 4 pieces. The staff onsite was nice enough but the rest of the experience was completely wrong. John, the 'Customer Service Specialist' called in offered nothing close to customer service. Worse, they are 'self insured' meaning there's no insurance company to speak with on their behalf. After requiring me to return to the wash on my own time for an inspection he then informed me the car was not properly cared for and thus there was no wrong doing on their part. This is a single owner Subaru Outback that I have personally cared for, has no body damage and have had washed all over the metro area. I'm left with a potential $500 bill for replacement due to negligence at this business. I used to love this place and never thought of going anywhere else. Being able to get the little sheet of stamps pay for three washes and get four was a brilliant program. I'd give a couple of these to some kids that would work for me and encourage them to take care of their cars. It didn't cost me much and was fun to do. My wife and I used this place so much that one time we discovered we had four cards between the two of us! They had $180 of our money and we'd only use half the washes and we were fine with that. Now, they want you to buy a similar program but insist that you do all the washes within a 30-day time frame. We travel fairly often, so between that and bad weather where it makes no sense to wash your car cuz it'll just get rained on, it's unlikely that we're going to use the washers in the allotted time frame. I would call that short-sighted on their part. They are free to run their business as they please, but they've lost some regular customers. I went to a couple of locations so much that you establish a relationship with some of the people who wave you into the wash. I've asked them how business is since they made this change and without exception, they tell me it's down and that they get constant complaints about this. Went to this car wash as I usually always use. Caddy pull in the girl holding the pull forward. Sign was rude and made it through the car wash only to find out my car is still dirty. Going to run it through again the girl tries to tell me how it's not gonna clean my car and in fact it did not. I paid $15 for nothing. I took my truck through the wash on Barbur Bulivard. The underside of my bumper was damaged by the machines. The damage was acknowledged by the representative of the company. However, the representative refused to pay or even offer anything for the damage caused by their system. Poor business practices. "Armando" in charge of taking money. I'd picked up extra dirt on the front spoiler so asked him to set it for the extra spray at the start. (My other Kaady locations told me about this so I do it every time.). He said they had no such thing. When I explained he said no, you'll just go thru like everybody else. Handed him my money anyway. Refused to take it until I put the top up. There was a line and it's 85 degrees. OBVIOUSLY I put this top up - in line! I'm like, nah. Turned around and left. The Mustang behind me did the same. I've been coming here for years and never had a single issue. Reliable. Consistent. I didn't even care when they raised the prices. So imagine my frustration when I pull up just now only to be turned away. Apparently the tires on my truck are too wide to safely go through the wash. The same tires on the same truck that have gone through this exact car wash at least 20times including last week! When I asked when they changed their policy the attendant literally said "it's not so much a policy change as it is whoever happens to be working"..... really.... After this wash my paint was heavily scratched/damaged as well as the plastic detailing of my RAV 4. My car is pretty important to me and I take an inventory of its general aesthetic frequently. We are from out of town and overnight our car got covered in bird poop. When we pulled up, they informed us that we can go thru the wash again at no charge. We did indeed need to go thru again. They inspected our car after the second wash and he wiped couple spots that were along the window edge. Any car wash would have struggled in those areas. It got light dust/dirt off the car but window paint and bird poop were left behind. How many times have you went to a car wash and didn't know until you already paid and were rolling on in that the mops/brushes were worn out, the water that was sprayed on your vehicle to rinse it looked muddy and the air dry..... well..... It didn't dry your vehicle. So you pull on out, drive home and when you get out you notice that there are waterspots, streaks and areas where it was not cleaned. What a let down! Well.... this car wash is clean, the equipment is maintained, brushes/mops are in great shape, water is clear, driers work well and everything in general seems to be fully functioning. How nice is that! The personnel here are super friendly, will remove your antenna and they really care. You can purchase quantities and get a discount as well which is great for the summer months when you need extra washes. Extremely frustrating experience this morning. Took the car to get washed, primarily because I needed to vacuum the interior. The vacuums are roped off with a sign saying "closed due to ice". As you can see in my photos, there was no ice - the area was dry. I asked an employee to open a vacuum for me, and she said she had to call her manager. The manager was clearly annoyed and in a hurry - would not let me use a vacuum, would not provide a refund, only said he would "take my information" and "go from there". Would not clarify what exactly was mean by "go from there" but reiterated that neither of my requests would be honored. Look, I get it if there's a policy (even if it's a demonstrably stupid one.) but you ought to refund my money when the thing I specifically came for isn't available. Extremely poor customer service. First, the staff are kind, CORPORATE (Aaron) does not care about clients. I've been going to this car wash for over a decade with multiple cars. I've had my last car a Volvo S80 for the last 10 years. I went in for a wash on a rainy day even though my car didn't need it because I felt guilty going there just to vacuum my car. The attendant was awesome and said I could use the vacuum for free anytime and that I didn't have to wash it. Again, I wanted to do the right thing. As I enter I get on my phone but look up because of a horrible noise. The machine had ripped off brand new expensive wipers. The attendants were courteous and did an incident report. Needless to saw my evening plans were ruined because it was raining and I couldn't see. I barely made it home. I get a call the next morning from Aaron who condescendingly tells me 'your car has a sensor and the blades came on so I can't help you.' I explained that yes, it has that feature that I must turn on because it's a 10 year old car. It doesn't automatically come on.' His response 'look, I don't need to explain the features of your car, I'll split the difference with you.' I told him to keep it. People on yelp, fb and instagram need to know how tacky Kaady corporate is to LONG TERM clients. He was like a tacky used car salesmen for a freaking car wash! Long story short, I'll be vacuuming for free and washing elsewhere. I'll get my money back that way. Went in with a solid windshield, came out with an enormous crack from top to bottom- dead center. They gave me a claim ticket and said someone would be in touch. Zane called to verify an appointment on Saturday morning, and I met him there to have a look. There was another guy there, too- sort of listening and roaming around us as we spoke, but he didn't say a single word the whole time. So Zane looks at the windshield and points to a tiny dot which he said caused the crack. I respectfully disagreed and showed him the dot from inside the car and he admitted it was not on the crack, so couldn't have caused it. Next he went into a long spiel about windshields and how there can me a failure in areas that you can't even see, so based on that and the fine print when you drive into the car wash, they weren't going to be able to cover the cost of my windshield. So I asked if they had any process in place where they could replace a windshield and he said No, they don't. Then I asked why he even had me come out on a Saturday morning to meet with him and he said because they like to explain to customers why it is the way it is. So enter at your own risk- don't be swayed by the bow toes and the charming welcome. If their machine damages your car to the tune of $600, YOU will be expected to pay it! read more

just took my car through the barbur blvd car wash and had a door molding come off in wash, dryer cycle. I told them about it and Elon Schultz contacted me to look at damage. Elon replaced the clips and double sided tape and successfully reattached the molding to the car. It's kind of hard for me to write an unbiased review considering I'm a former employee. They do get your car very clean except for a few spots. They do give you the dash towels to touch up said spots too, I'm a little confused by the recent price increase though. Okay that was the good. Here's the not so good. The reason for what is perceived as poor customer service is incredibly low employee morale. While that is not an excuse I feel it is the reason many of the people here don't seem to care. I have also witnessed countless employees being disciplined or terminated for extra wiping down or spraying solution below door handles. What you need to remember when taking your car through any automated carwash is you are running your car through an unforgiving machine. If you have any previous damage to your car get it fixed before going through. Also in 6 years of working here I only saw 1 power antenna make it through unharmed. I actually had a few customers rip their antennas off before going through after I told them this. Solid mast antennas almost always make it unless they are previously damaged. Oversized hitches are removed to prevent potential damage to the car wash and your vehicle that would total thousands of dollars. A machine will always do it the same thus insuring consistency, but it will also always miss the same things. I could go on and on, but those are the main things. read more
