I called and told them about it and waited for a call back that never came. The ABS light finally went off. So I guess it is ok. And most recently "wheel hub with bearing" replacement. I was charged $59.73 for "shop supplies" which was a total for ALL estimated repairs. I paid upfront for the parts which was $673.94 and then charged tax again on that amount and the balance. In total $1624.20 which by the way is a service that should have been tops $1200. The end result is they have lost my future business approximately $2000+ because of the petty overcharges. Make sure before you agree to the estimate you check prices. HORRIBLE price gouging.

Earlier that day, my husband was on the phone with the mechanic and asked whether he could text that same number to follow up. The mechanic answered, "You're talking to me, right?" so my husband texted to let him know we were holding off on the work. We had no way of knowing it was the shop's landline, and it was never mentioned. A week later, the mechanic called asking if we were still bringing the van in. When I explained that we had already texted to cancel, he became short and dismissive, told me he had blocked off the entire day, and waved off the fact that we had reached out by saying, "Yeah, you texted the shop phone." When I pointed out that he had told my husband to use that number, he said "yeah, yeah" and hung up on me. I understand that a last-minute change can be frustrating for a business, and if there was a mix-up about which number to use, that is worth clarifying for future customers. But responding to a paying customer by talking over them and hanging up is not professional. We won't be returning. Good mechanics are worth keeping, but basic respect for your customers should come standard.

I left a message, saying that I wanted to replace the…read morefront brake pads ONLY on my Nissan van, explaining that the rotors are in perfect condition (the van has only 48,000 miles, and never carried more than 700 pounds, way below the normal payload on those heavy-duty vans). They called back and quoted $1,040 for the front brake pads + rotors. Again, I explained that the rotors are in perfect condition and do not need replacement. They replied that if I refuse to do the rotors, they won't replace just the brake pads. The surface of the rotors has no grooves, no scratches, they are not warped, and the pads have still 2-3 mm thickness; the brakes do not squeal. This is bargain-basement sales tactics, trying to push for the purchase of parts that do not need replacement. Shameful! Incidentally, their quote for pads + rotors was 50% higher than that of another shop that I have been using for years. I am taking my business elsewhere, and will not give them another call in future, as they are out to rip people off.
