I am honestly surprised by all the rave reviews. My husband and I tried this place out and sadly left with more to be desired. The restaurant was clean, however service was sssslllllllooooooowwwwww despite the house not being busy at all. My bf and I decided to try this new place that opened 2 days ago. I ordered the Kafta (ground beef with lamb) kabob with rice and chose hummus and tabouleh as my two sides. Everything tasted fresh and delicious. In addition, the proportions they served were very generous. There was a little wait (maybe 10-15 minutes or so) for the food, given that they were busy but I really didn't mind since it was well worth it. Definitely will be coming back here. read more

The rice has a wonderful flavor and there's plenty of it. The hummus is fresh with a creamy smooth texture. DISAPPOINTED! While waiting for my order to be ready I noticed one of the employees completely lowered his mask, only covering his chin. He was talking to his co worker and standing right in front of the food. I told my boyfriend to go speak to him and when he saw us walking towards the register he raised his mask covering his nose and mouth. We told him we wanted a refund because we saw his nose and mouth exposed. He said he was going to call the manager and he never did. He just came back and issued us a refund. While he was processing our refund I noticed an iPhone right next to where they cook. This is a disappointment because we recently discovered this restaurant and were going to become regulars but after seeing this I don't feel comfortable coming here anymore and only leads me to question what other unsanitary things they are doing. Omg. This place is really good. I personally do not try new places unless someone recommends them. I was in the shopping center and saw this place. I have seen this place many times but never really looked into eating there. This time, I decided to look online for reviews. After reading the reviews and seeing the pictures, I decided to give them a try. I read the prices were high, so I was just going to order a sandwich. I went and talked to the gentleman behind the counter and I told him I've never been in the restaurant before. He answered all my questions and even let me sample the potato salad. I settled on an entrée so I can try a couple of the different things for the sane price as a sandwich plus a side. I ordered the beef shawarma entree with potato salad and hummus (about $12.00 with tax). Let me just say I am very impressed. Being that I am Armenian myself, I have some expectations in my Mediterranean style food. Even though it did not taste like my family recipes, it was still very delicious and I am sold on this place.
