Greek Street Grill has been on my list for some time now due to the raving reviews I kept hearing about it. I finally had the chance to visit this past weekend. It's located in a plaza with plenty of parking and there is plenty of seating indoors as well. The ambiance is clean and casual, felt almost like a fast food place. You order at the counter and the workers will bring the food to your table. For food, I tried the chicken souvlaki plate with their fries and salad. I also got the calamari appetizer. The calamari was delicious. Crispy, tasty, juicy. The chicken souvlaki plate unfortunately fell short of my expectations. While the fries were crispy and the salad was good, the chicken was really dry and lacked flavor. My brother got the chicken and steak pita and thought the same thing for both proteins. read more

This small but mighty business is located in the Ralph's shopping center off La Sierra. It's right next to Starbucks so I suggest parking in the inner 2nd parking lot row instead of right in front in the 1st row....otherwise you may get stuck due the Starbucks drive thru line. Walking in you go straight to the counter to order - menu hangs about the register. I ordered a regular gyro pita sandwich and my husband ordered the gyro pita sandwich with added pork meat and he got it as a combo with rice and a salad. Gyro meat is spot on. Love it - not too soft and not too crispy. The taztziki sauce is so good here but you must love the garlic aftertaste as it will be in your mouth for awhile!! The pita bread is sooo soft and fresh. Overall the sandwich in itself is filling and my husband felt overall full with his two sides. Our total was $29 for the sandwich and sandwich combo. read more

Our order came out quickly: gyro & feta fries, gyro sandwich, and a kid meal with a chicken skewer, pita, and salad. The portion was generous with good quality, balanced, and delicious flavors. Kind of a regular at Greek Street. I usually have their chicken Greek salad and switched to the salmon salad recently and it is my new favorite. The salmon is grilled and seasoned well, along with their Greek dressing, pita and taziki. The greens and other vegetables are always very crisp and fresh. My friends and i stopped by Greek street grill for some dinner. Inside has several seats and was very clean but we did take out because we showed up 30 min before closing. The cashier was really nice and friendly. Unfortunately because we did show up late they were already out of some items including the rice which was a bit of a bummer but they still had other sides available. I went with a kabob combo that included both steak and chicken with a side of salad and soup. The kabobs were good but didn't taste fresh but again this is most likely due to us showing up late. The soup was also good but i would have preferred the rice if they had it. Overall i enjoyed my meal and the service and i do think had we gone earlier it would have been even better. I think the amount was pretty good for the price which was around 16/17 dollars. I don't think it's the best Mediterranean food in riverside but it is a solid option for sure. read more

Greek salad side was amazing they really do use super fresh and crisp veggies. Their rice is a bit bland. Not much more to say about that. I got a piece of baklava. I think it was a bit old or the pastry dough was a bit old because it was stale so I didn't really eat much of it. But all in all I was a happy camper. They have vegan options if you don't eat meat. They make the best salads. We love their gyros and haven't ventured out to try other dishes, but we will need to try their steak next. I've experienced decent food at this place over the years, but this was unmistakably burnt. I can understand if it was one burnt morsel, but three burnt kebabs should not be overlooked by the staff. I was too tired to go back inside and ask for a refund; so I choked down the dry chewy meat. There is a lesson to be learned here: Regardless of how much of an imposition it is...always open your to-go-box of food before you take it out to your car and drive away. And, possibly, avoid this Grill if you're into juicy tender kebabs. read more

Had the pleasure to stop by Greek Street Cafe. From beginning to end it was a wonderful experience. Staff was very polite and the restaurant was very clean. The esthetic was simple, clean and fast. It served as a great alternative to eating fast food. I ate the Souvlaki Dinner plate with two kabobs, one chicke and the other beef. It comes with two sides, I chose the salad and rice. The meal was fresh and service was fast. The only thing I would have preferred is maybe basmati rice but the flavor was great. The salad was also very fresh, the feta was delicious and the dressing was tasty. Although it is not a fine dining establishment, one can tell everything was carefully planned out.
