So I have been trying to check out this place for months and finally had a chance. And wow what a selection. I ordered the chicken kabob, kofta kabob and lamb gyro. Additionally we ordered grape leaves and banana pudding for dessert. The kabobs were fantastic. It came with rice a slice of pita and salad. Also there was a side of tzatziki sauce and they asked if I wanted tzatziki sauce on the side as well. Very confusing but both tasted so different. Now let's talk about the banana pudding. HOLY COW!!! This was insane!! Perfectly sweet with just enough for your sweet tooth. I'm def coming back to try other food and getting the banana pudding again.

My lunch today was fantastic! Walk into the restaurant where you order off a menu board. Very nice and comfortable seating area. Very busy, however, things moved along quickly. Ordered the Beef Kabob plate, unfortunately they were out ,however , the young lady at the counter recommended I try the Lamb Chop platter. I had never eaten lamb chops so onward on my new adventure. OMG, what a gift! The chops had a really good seasoning and were grilled wonderfully with a light char. The dish was accompanied by a sizable piece of pita bread, generous amount of rice, your choice of sauce (baba ghannoush, hummus or tzatziki), side of tomato/cucumber/onion mix and those fantastic four lamb chops . Totally worth the price which I thought totally reasonable They have a refillable soda fountain of Mediterranean drinks, though you are able to buy bottled drinks if you wish. I am definitely coming back!

I love this place. The food never disappoints. Portions are huge, food is flavorful and delicious. Chicken kebab plate comes with rice, pita, 2 sauces, and tomato/cucumber/red onion salad. Hummus is so good and plentiful with many pieces of fluffy pita. And now they have espresso drinks and pastries! I got an iced pistachio latte with an extra shot of espresso. It was a little sweet for me but the flavor was really good.

Pita & Olive is such a cozy spot with comfy seating and a welcoming atmosphere and service--perfect for a relaxed meal. I ordered the chicken kebab platter, and it tasted so natural and flavorful; everything was cooked perfectly. I also had one of their strawberry dragon fruit drinks, which was super refreshing. A really great experience overall--I'll definitely be back!

Relaxed eatery with pretty decor and reasonable prices. Order at the counter and they bring your food to the table of your choosing. The Dolma was my favorite. The Tzatziki Dip had a dill/sour flavor to it and was not the style of tzatziki that I favor, however, it was not bad. The Falafel and Eggplant Pita sandwich was great! I would order it again for lunch. The same for the Baked Kofta Pita if I am in the mood for a more meaty dish. The Pistachio Baklava was okay; Flavor was good, however, lacking in the balance of textures. Still good enough for a repeat order. All in all this place is a good pick for Mediterranean lunch or light dinner in a casual setting.

Pretty happy with our dinner choice tonight! The atmosphere is like a panera but for mediterranean. I was impressed they give you real plates and silverware and provide some table service. We had the mixed grill for 2 and it was a very generous amount of food! Overall, the flavor was very good. The hummus was a bit too thick for my liking, but that's my preference and they had olive oil on the table which was great. Next time I would ask to customize the dips as the spicy one tasted like straight hot sauce to me which is not my fave.

    Crispy chips were good.

I ordered takeout for a family gathering at 4:30 pm on a Saturday. The food ranged from 2 stars to five stars; therefore, the four star rating but actually, a 3.5 rating might better represent our overall experience. Apps to share: Priced correct for small portions *Zucchini Chips & mint yogurt garlic sauce-- very good, actually spear shape not chips *Garlic Whip Trio with pita --BAD, poor presentation/packaging, received many small cups in order labeled with a single letter; pita chips were over toasted so inedible; whole slices of pita were okay *Kashke Eggplant Dip with pita --Not avail. *Falafel --flavorful, not dry and hard *Baba Ghannouj -- Not tasty,Too greasy, oily *Olive and Feta Dip --Excellent! Feta and olives complemented each other *Two Salmon Pitas -- Excellent, would order again. Hand stretched pitas were nice. *Two Chicken Tenders and Fries --fries were Not conventional but thin slices of potato; Did not appeal to youngsters, but I kept going back for more. *Lamb Shank, Kabuli Rice --Not available *Grilled Lamb Chops and rice --outstanding, would order again *Greek Salad --came as described with NO romaine which it could have used for some crunch; it was nothing special. Would not order again. Ordering on phone was efficient. Some packaging could be improved as noted above. Might order Salmon Pita or Grilled lamb Chops again in future. But not eager to return anytime soon. There are so many places to try and revisit in this area.

Let's start with all the great things about this place. The inside of this place is super cute! The staff was very polite and helpful! And for the price of $17 for this little beef kabob platter, I thought it was good value for money for lunch. Now the things that made me a little sad. Mediterranean/Middle Eastern food is typically very exciting and seasoned passionately. Unfortunately I can't say either of these things about the food here. The food was very politely and perhaps even apologetically seasoned for an unfamiliar audience. Along with the oils on every table I wish there was a salt mill with kosher or sea salt as well as a mill of fresh cracked black pepper. The food would have benefited even from this small change. I also wish they would ask how you would like your beef cooked. I prefer my beef rare to medium rare and these were cooked well done, making them tough and hard to cut through. The beef was nicely marinated through though and had a nice sear on them. Small details make a big difference.

It was only their fourth day of being open when we decided to try them out, so we were not surprised to experience some rough edges. But our first experience is not going to prevent us from returning. Our 6:30 arrival on a Monday did not initially alert us to the fact that they had just gotten slammed. There was only one individual ahead of us placing an order at the counter and the dining area looked less than half full. When the woman taking orders told me they were out of my choice of Lamb Shanks but still had the Lamb Chops, I assumed they may have not received a delivery after a busy weekend. After we placed our order we selected a clean, available table. Yes, there some empty tables that had not been bussed yet. It was also then that I realized that there were a number of individuals who were standing around waiting for their takeout orders. My Lamb Chops Platter ($21) came out in a reasonable amount of time, maybe 10 minutes. But my appetizer side of Falafel ($6) had not yet been served and my wife's entrée of a Falafel & Eggplant Pita ($9) had not been served. My wife insisted I start on my Lamb Chops before they got cold. I was probably about halfway through my dinner when the owner/manager(?) stopped by our table to ask what we were still waiting to have served. He apologized, and the balance of our order was quickly served. Those 4 meaty lamb chops were nice and tender, grilled properly to a medium-rare, and very flavorful being served with sumac, over rice, with grilled tomato and onion, olive and feta dip, a tzatziki like dip, and hand-stretched pita. That pita was so good. Overall, simply a wonderful balance of flavors throughout the dish. The side of seven good sized falafel balls were nice and hot, crispy on the outside and full of chickpea and fava bean flavor throughout. I dipped them in my tzatziki that came with my lamb since their accompanying sauce had been sadly overlooked. They will definitely be on my list again when we next visit. My wife's Falafel & Eggplant Pita certainly looked like a challenge to eat by hand. It was quite large. The pita appeared to be toasted more on the outer side than on the filling side, and that made for a very attractive plating. The same delicious falafel as in my side dish was further enhanced with the addition of greens, tomato, onion, tzatziki sauce and some things I didn't recognize. My wife said she would request more tzatziki sauce in the future. My wife decided to try Coconut Water ($2) for her beverage. No surprise, it tasted like coconut. I tried a mango flavored Aloe Vera drink ($3). It had no mango in it, but there were pieces of aloe vera gel that would not come up the plant straw. Yes, you read that correctly, they don't use plastic straws, and their straws are not paper. The straw is made from agro-waste, a renewable resource. Management stopped by our table a second time before we left to follow up after all our food had been served. All the staff we encountered and observed were very friendly and dedicated to seeing that customers were satisfied with their experience.

Amazing food, and casual atmosphere. Portions on mains and apps are big so be prepared to share! Highly recommend and we will be returning. Loved Chicken Kebob, Baba, Hummed with meat and Tzatziki. The fries are also different and delicious.

Never disappointed here. It's so there's so few Mediterranean options in this area. Everything I've tried has been very good.

Traveling within about 5 minutes on the way to visit a good friend, and it happened to be right around lunch time, the opportunity finally came. It's a casual place, lots of 2 and 4 top tables, but what caught my eye when we went in was the cooler full of amazing side options. Then you look up and there's a beautiful oven and a dough station. This is looking great. We sat and ordered lamb kebab and doner kebab. A couple minutes later, a large (~11x17?) wooden tray appeared with a piping hot lavash bread and a plate of dill yogurt sauce. If the meal had stopped there, I would have been a happy camper. We had just had a few pieces when the kebab arrived, each with a pepper, tomato, some red cabbage, and onion. Both meats were authentic and delicious. My favorite way to eat my doner was with a bit of the bread, a bit of the dill sauce, some onion and cabbage, and a bunch of meat - a mini gyro, if you will. We took away about 1/3 of the generous portions and ordered a large mixed plate (all 10 of the sides) and baklava to take to our friend. It's a bit of a drive for us, but any time we're anywhere close, we're going to be back for sit down (if it's mealtime) or takeaway if it's not. I highly recommend you do the same.

The place feels much more modern and inviting now. Our family especially enjoys the beyti kebab, the güveç, and their pide. I haven't tried the pizza yet, but since their pide is very good, I imagine the pizza would also be solid. For me though, the real highlight at Alibaba is the mezze. In Turkish cuisine, grilled meats and kebabs are almost always enjoyed with a variety of mezze. They might technically be sides, but they're a big part of the whole experience. These days there are several Turkish kebab places in the area, but none of them offer a wide selection of fresh, house-made mezze like Alibaba does. At many places you're lucky if you find one or two options, often just a basic ezme. At Alibaba you'll find around ten different mezze and each one tastes distinct and freshly made. Every time I tell myself I'll just take a little... and somehow I end up filling a big mezze plate. Honestly, even when we grill at home, our motivation is picking up mezze from Alibaba to go with it. I'm not sure if it gets the credit it deserves, but don't skip the mezze here -- you'd be missing out. In fact, start with the mezze and figure out the rest later :))
