Beautiful decor, friendly and fast service, the food looks and tastes delicious. Had a falafel and eggplant pita, it was filling and had it combo'd with truffle fries. Their banana pudding matcha is so good, will definitely come back!

A hidden gem in Clifton Park! We recently tried Pita and Olive within the last few months and have already gone multiple times. It's always delicious! My husband and I both get the chicken kabob platter and share an order of mozzarella sticks. The chicken kabob platters are pretty big and could easily be multiple meals. The chicken itself is extremely well seasoned, juicy and has no weird pieces at all, which is huge to someone like myself who is picky with chicken. The rice is always perfectly cooked and you get a generous helping of that too. The hot sauce and dill sauce complement it so well, both are incredibly tasty. The platter also comes with a pita, hummus and a small salad. All very delicious as well. The mozzarella sticks are some of the best in the area easily! They're crispy, have very well seasoned breading and the cheese is juicy. The marinara it comes with is also super tasty! Pita and Olive does so well with all their seasonings and flavors! Our food is always ready for pick up when it's supposed to be done and the employees are always friendly. It also smells amazing inside! We've never sat inside but it's very cute in there. I forgot to take a photo before I cut up the chicken and added sauce so it doesn't do the meal full justice.

So I have been trying to check out this place for months and finally had a chance. And wow what a selection. I ordered the chicken kabob, kofta kabob and lamb gyro. Additionally we ordered grape leaves and banana pudding for dessert. The kabobs were fantastic. It came with rice a slice of pita and salad. Also there was a side of tzatziki sauce and they asked if I wanted tzatziki sauce on the side as well. Very confusing but both tasted so different. Now let's talk about the banana pudding. HOLY COW!!! This was insane!! Perfectly sweet with just enough for your sweet tooth. I'm def coming back to try other food and getting the banana pudding again.

My lunch today was fantastic! Walk into the restaurant where you order off a menu board. Very nice and comfortable seating area. Very busy, however, things moved along quickly. Ordered the Beef Kabob plate, unfortunately they were out ,however , the young lady at the counter recommended I try the Lamb Chop platter. I had never eaten lamb chops so onward on my new adventure. OMG, what a gift! The chops had a really good seasoning and were grilled wonderfully with a light char. The dish was accompanied by a sizable piece of pita bread, generous amount of rice, your choice of sauce (baba ghannoush, hummus or tzatziki), side of tomato/cucumber/onion mix and those fantastic four lamb chops . Totally worth the price which I thought totally reasonable They have a refillable soda fountain of Mediterranean drinks, though you are able to buy bottled drinks if you wish. I am definitely coming back!

I love this place. The food never disappoints. Portions are huge, food is flavorful and delicious. Chicken kebab plate comes with rice, pita, 2 sauces, and tomato/cucumber/red onion salad. Hummus is so good and plentiful with many pieces of fluffy pita. And now they have espresso drinks and pastries! I got an iced pistachio latte with an extra shot of espresso. It was a little sweet for me but the flavor was really good.

Pita & Olive is such a cozy spot with comfy seating and a welcoming atmosphere and service--perfect for a relaxed meal. I ordered the chicken kebab platter, and it tasted so natural and flavorful; everything was cooked perfectly. I also had one of their strawberry dragon fruit drinks, which was super refreshing. A really great experience overall--I'll definitely be back!

Relaxed eatery with pretty decor and reasonable prices. Order at the counter and they bring your food to the table of your choosing. The Dolma was my favorite. The Tzatziki Dip had a dill/sour flavor to it and was not the style of tzatziki that I favor, however, it was not bad. The Falafel and Eggplant Pita sandwich was great! I would order it again for lunch. The same for the Baked Kofta Pita if I am in the mood for a more meaty dish. The Pistachio Baklava was okay; Flavor was good, however, lacking in the balance of textures. Still good enough for a repeat order. All in all this place is a good pick for Mediterranean lunch or light dinner in a casual setting.

Pretty happy with our dinner choice tonight! The atmosphere is like a panera but for mediterranean. I was impressed they give you real plates and silverware and provide some table service. We had the mixed grill for 2 and it was a very generous amount of food! Overall, the flavor was very good. The hummus was a bit too thick for my liking, but that's my preference and they had olive oil on the table which was great. Next time I would ask to customize the dips as the spicy one tasted like straight hot sauce to me which is not my fave.

    Crispy chips were good.

I ordered takeout for a family gathering at 4:30 pm on a Saturday. The food ranged from 2 stars to five stars; therefore, the four star rating but actually, a 3.5 rating might better represent our overall experience. Apps to share: Priced correct for small portions *Zucchini Chips & mint yogurt garlic sauce-- very good, actually spear shape not chips *Garlic Whip Trio with pita --BAD, poor presentation/packaging, received many small cups in order labeled with a single letter; pita chips were over toasted so inedible; whole slices of pita were okay *Kashke Eggplant Dip with pita --Not avail. *Falafel --flavorful, not dry and hard *Baba Ghannouj -- Not tasty,Too greasy, oily *Olive and Feta Dip --Excellent! Feta and olives complemented each other *Two Salmon Pitas -- Excellent, would order again. Hand stretched pitas were nice. *Two Chicken Tenders and Fries --fries were Not conventional but thin slices of potato; Did not appeal to youngsters, but I kept going back for more. *Lamb Shank, Kabuli Rice --Not available *Grilled Lamb Chops and rice --outstanding, would order again *Greek Salad --came as described with NO romaine which it could have used for some crunch; it was nothing special. Would not order again. Ordering on phone was efficient. Some packaging could be improved as noted above. Might order Salmon Pita or Grilled lamb Chops again in future. But not eager to return anytime soon. There are so many places to try and revisit in this area.

Let's start with all the great things about this place. The inside of this place is super cute! The staff was very polite and helpful! And for the price of $17 for this little beef kabob platter, I thought it was good value for money for lunch. Now the things that made me a little sad. Mediterranean/Middle Eastern food is typically very exciting and seasoned passionately. Unfortunately I can't say either of these things about the food here. The food was very politely and perhaps even apologetically seasoned for an unfamiliar audience. Along with the oils on every table I wish there was a salt mill with kosher or sea salt as well as a mill of fresh cracked black pepper. The food would have benefited even from this small change. I also wish they would ask how you would like your beef cooked. I prefer my beef rare to medium rare and these were cooked well done, making them tough and hard to cut through. The beef was nicely marinated through though and had a nice sear on them. Small details make a big difference.

Never disappointed here. It's so there's so few Mediterranean options in this area. Everything I've tried has been very good.

I don't claim to be a tea expert... it is more of a novel-tea for me... but I enjoyed coming here and talking with their knowledgeable staff. Their certainly have a passion for their tea! There are lots of teas in the store... at least several dozen blends behind the counter and more in other areas... and they will make whatever you want if you provide a recipe. I lean towards fruitier or spicier teas and found a couple that were interesting enough to purchase and bring home. Because more of their teas are served loose, it isn't as simple as dunking a pouch with a string in a mug of hot water. But fear not, they have lots of various tea brewing accessories along the walls of their small shop area as well as some other interesting curiosities.

Stopped by for coffee and a quick breakfast sandwich on our way out of town. Parking lot was nearly full but it's shared w a smoothie place and other businesses. That being said, almost everyone was at UG and for good reason. The line was out the door when we got inside. I was discouraged and ready to angrily wait, but I was wrong! The line moved quickly and a staff were friendly for a busy morning. I had the summer blend hot and wife had an iced latte. The hot coffee was tasty. Low acidity, smooth and balanced. Only complaint was that it could have been just a click hotter for me. I don't necessarily want to burn my esophagus, but this was only lukewarm. The iced latte was delicious. We each had an egg sandwich on a bagel and they were terrific. Soft and chewy bagel with plenty of flavor. We took a couple cookies home from the case and Oh Em Geeeeee! Phenomenal! Now I regret not getting the bag of yesterday's bagels at the door. Even "day old" I bet these things are great!

Uncommon Grounds nails it on both counts and is a great spot to get a little work done to boot. Stopped by this location when I was in the area for some coffee and breakfast. I'm usually in search of sugar free options as well as milk alternatives. Uncommon Grounds had a couple sugar free options (yay! caramel and vanilla) and a few different milk alternatives. I got a caramel latte made with almond milk and it was dreamy. For my breakfast, I got the Mediterranean breakfast sandwich on a salt bagel. It came with egg, spinach, avocado, tomato, and a bit of pesto. Delicious! The only tiny thing for me was the tomato made the sandwich kinda slippery and difficult to eat so the next time I ordered it (which was literally the next day), I got it with double the spinach and no tomato. The service was really lovely and the prices are reasonable. They're a popular spot and were pretty busy when I was in and even with that everyone was so kind and helpful. Get to it!
