The only good food items you will find tasty are their biriyani rice and kabab items. All other items are bland tasting. Chicken Tikka masala is bland, no flavor and almost no salt, vegetable items are not restaurant like, samosas taste weird; most items I had other than kababs were like home cooked with only basic ingredients for the high BP patient not allowed to have salt! They are EXPENSIVE too! Don't get fooled by their big container, the amount will be the same! This was our first time at Kabab King and we will be back. The menu has familiar Indian items mixed in with items that I have not seen outside of the Middle East. We ordered chicken curry, chicken hiryali kabab, samosas and garlic naan. The samosas had chunks of potatoes instead of the mashed potatoes. They were so delicious that we ordered a second helping. The chicken curry had a more peppercorn and allspice flavor instead of the turmeric flavor associated with Indian chicken curry. The chicken hiryali kabab was a new dish for me. It is marinated in a green sauce and then grilled. It had a coriander and slight mint taste and tasted way better than it looked. read more

My family gets the family platter at least once a month, it is so delicious! It is absolutely worth it for the price. The amount of rice and meat will last the five of us at least two dinners. Ordering online via their website was easy from my Smartphone. Updates on the order were clear, and it was done and updated ahead of schedule. The food is delicious! Perfect option for a mostly vegetarian family with a couple folks who will also eat chicken sometimes. O.k., does anyone notice that they spelled kebab k-a-b-a-b? That is a misspelling. They misspelled their name on the sign. That's not a good start. Anyways, our server Tiffany was a really nice lady and did a good job minus one thing. She is not very aware of food and how it relates to food allergies, or specific diets. I told her that my girl friend is vegan and I asked her if the chutneys/dressings had dairy in them. She responded that no, they do not. I asked what was in the creamy looking dressing and she said sour cream. Sour cream, obvious to most people, is made with dairy. The falafel is o.k., but not great. It really didn't have that nice crunch to it, but it seemed fried. It was sort of at a mid point as far as the texture and it was kind of bland. Now that I think about it maybe I should have given them a lower rating. All things considered, I haven't tried their other menu items. Should I give them a second chance? Awesome! My husband and I ordered takeout from here last night. He ordered the chicken biryani and naan, i ordered saag paneer and roti. We also ordered samosas chat to share. Let me say it was absolutely delicious. It was fresh, hot and very tasty. They provide large portions and had plenty of vegetarian options as well. The bright exterior catches your eye, and you should not just drive by - stop. What a surprise! I'm picky and always looking for authentic. This did not disappoint. It took me back to the food I had in northern India. We stopped around 2 in the afternoon. Started with the Vegetable Samosas and they were crispy on the outside, without being oily, with perfectly cooked soft veg on the inside. Shared the Saag Paneer and Daal Gosht with goat, medium spice which was exactly the right amount of heat for medium. Both were delicious! The Tandoori Naan was perfect. The rice was seasoned perfectly as well. Portion sizes were generous. But most importantly, was exceptional service from our beautiful waitress. She was amazing! Really some of the best care I have had in a restaurant for years!! I was with an international student who had never had Indo-Pak food before and he was wowed. What a wonderful first experience.
